"Two distinct energy signatures confirmed!" another operator called out.

"Both are over the standard Lord threshold… One in the valley, one approaching from the ridge!"

Reylin's expression hardened. "Two Zombie Lords… simultaneously."

She immediately opened the radio and communicated with the team on the battlefield.

"All combat squads! Code Red! We've got dual Lord-class entities approaching the shelter. I repeat! dual Lords! All long-range artillery and Spirit Cannons, get ready!"

Static filled her earpiece for a moment before Tundra's rough voice came through.

"I can probably try and stop one of them. I just need to prepare something… Give me some time."

Reylin knew this and agreed to his words. "Yes… But they might be difficult. They look intelligent. They're not big like other Zombie Lords, and they even have equipment with them."

Tundra cursed under his breath. "Then I guess it's time to show them the real fireworks."

After some time, Zombie Lord Ves was now fully visible to the soldiers on the ground.

The first was Zombie Lord Ves.

At first glance, it looked almost human. He was a pale, bald figure wearing a shredded combat vest that was already fused to his skin.

However, some parts of its body were replaced with machine parts. There was a left arm made of iron and cables, a mechanical left eye, a ribcage with exposed pistons, and many more!

The second one, Zombie Lord Sunny, was far different.

It still had the body of a person, but its skin was cracked and dark, as if covered with black crystal.

It wore long red robes with golden threads like he was royalty...

Then, seeing the golden crown on its head, they knew that this was no ordinary Zombie Lord. Previously, all the Zombie Lords they encountered had large bodies and some inhuman parts.

However, Zombie Lord Sunny looked completely like any Low-Tier Zombie, but with an expensive robe and a crown on its head!

After some time, the two Lords advanced…

Inside the Command Center, Reylin swiftly gave her command

"Frontline! Lord-class confirmed! Ves and Sunny… Engage defensive pattern seven! Now!"

Sirens wailed across the walls as dozens of Warden Units switched into high-mobility mode.

The Mk.V turrets reoriented, focusing all firepower on the incoming Lords.

They also switched from energy bullets to explosive shells!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Just like that, explosive shells rained from above, peppering the canyon floor! They all cam from the Turrets, Cannons, Warden Units, and other explosives!

Still, the Lords didn't slow.

"Impossible…" one of the operators muttered.

"They're tanking the Mk.V barrage… Even the Spirit Cannons!"

In the meantime, while this was all happening, Tundra was preparing for a huge battle against the Zombie Lords.

He opened his inventory and started taking out various potions or drinks that he could use at the moment.

[ World Skybrew - Rare Brew (World Tree Infused)

Effect (5 Minutes): Increases Mental Clarity +30%, regenerates 5% Spirit Points per minute, and grants temporary immunity to fatigue-based debuffs.

Bonus: Drinking two doses within 12 hours grants Inspiration for 3 hours. ]

He gulped it down and it didn't take long before his body felt so light as his Spirit flow stabilized.

Then, one after another, he consumed other drinks.

[ Ironroot Fortifier

Effect (10 Minutes): Increases Physical Defense by 45%, reduces impact damage, and fortifies artificial limbs. ]

[ Flux Booster

Effect (10 Minutes): Converts excess Spirit Energy into explosive heat. Each melee strike deals 20% Fire-type splash damage. ]

[ Frostveil Elixir

Effect (5 Minutes): Coats the user's skin with cryogenic membrane, granting 25% damage reduction from acid, sludge, and mystical attacks. ]

[ Silver Pulse Stimulant

Effect (3 Minutes): Doubles movement speed and nerve reaction time. Temporary sensory overload may occur afterward. ]

[ Warmheart Infusion

Effect (10 Minutes): Temporarily synchronizes body and spirit energy, granting +40% output to all survivor abilities. ]

The world skybrew and the warmheart infusion came from Bart's creations.

On the other hand, the Fortifier, Booster, Elixir, and Stimulant came from various alchemists like Anna, Nia, or were even bought in the Survivor Store.

Crash~

Tundra threw away the last bottle and felt his body accumulating energy…

Tundra took a deep breath as he felt the power coming off his body…

"Let's see how much damage I can cause before those freaks touch the walls."

Tundra moved fast.

His body was already reacting to the potions, and he didn't have plenty of time before their effects could vanish…

Soon, the trench line outside the walls was shaking from the barrage, but he didn't flinch.

He opened comms.

"Tundra here. I'm heading for Ves. Sunny's too far and too weird. Let the turrets soften him first."

Reylin responded immediately. "Confirmed. Ves is absorbing damage. Spirit Cannons barely scratched him."

"Then I'll do more than scratch."

Tundra jumped down from the platform and landed near the front barricade.

The ground was littered with broken limbs and melted flesh of zombies, and it was an awful sight…

Then, he passed through a group of Warden Units that were still firing, but Zombie Lord Ves just kept walking.

This biomechanical zombie even found a weapon and dragged a steel pipe behind him!

It looked so ready for a battle!

"I'll take care of him! Stop attacking Ves and focus on Sunny!"

Tundra shouted.

He then threw a Graviton Imploder straight at Ves's feet.

The device activated instantly. The ground pulled inward.

Debris and nearby zombies collapsed into the vortex!

Graagh!

Ves staggered, but didn't fall.

Tundra then followed up with a Corrosive Venom Bomb. It detonated near Ves's leg as acid mist spread fast, eating through armor and exposed tissue… or so he hoped.

However, Ves, or any other Zombie Lords, had a layer of mystical protection from many types of attacks.

Nonetheless, Tundra didn't stop. He activated his Flux Booster and charged forward!

At this point, throwing bombs wasn't that effective against the Zombie Lord.

He must plant the bombs directly on the Zombie Lord's body if he wants to win this!

His first punch landed on Ves's ribs, and the impact caused a burst of heat!

Bam!

'One bomb has been planted…' Tundra thought with a grin on his face. Of course, just one bomb was not enough. The Zombie Lord would just recover from it if he detonated it immediately.

He planned to plant at least 20 bombs on its body before detonating them all!
