The Warden Units advanced without hesitation.
Unlike the other Survivors, Ves's suppression field had no effect on them.
They weren't Survivors. They didn't rely on Spirit Energy or Talent activation. Their systems were mechanical, their weapons were physical, and their targeting system were still locked onto Ves.
Soon, rounds slammed into the Zombie Lord's body. Some ricocheted off the metal plating. Others pierced through exposed joints and soft tissue, making Ves stagger slightly but it was still moving.
Inside the Command Center, Reylin monitored the situation.
"Warden Units are still operational…" one operator confirmed. "No disruption detected."
Reylin nodded. "Good. Keep them focused on Ves. Tundra needs cover."
On the battlefield, Tundra crouched behind a collapsed barricade. His body was tense.
The bombs were planted, but the suppression or silence field was still active. He couldn't trigger anything since his Skills were locked…
'Well, this shouldn't last long… The only problem is that I have no idea if the planted bombs with my skill would still be there.' Tundra thought.
After all, he couldn't sense his planted bombs right now. He couldn't see it either since they were invisible to begin with.
He couldn't help but worry that all his efforts to plant those 20 bombs would just be wasted.
He gritted his teeth and checked his inventory again. Nothing inside could override Ves's field. He was stuck.
Then, he saw some movement of a figure who was dashing toward him.
A figure sprinted across the third line of defense, dodging through debris and turret fire.
The man wore armor with a faded sign of the Blood Talon insignia.
It was Captain Duran.
Tundra recognized him immediately. He was Reylin's companion and the first member of the Clan she built.
He was also the strongest member of the Blood Talon Clan before Shane allowed the merge into Eclipse Revenant. Duran may have prosthetic or mechanical legs right now, but he was still a powerful Survivor.
Duran reached Tundra and tossed a small vial toward him.
"Enhanced Dragon's Veil Elixir," he said. "Drink it. It'll cut through the suppression."
Tundra caught the vial and just briefly confirmed that it was indeed a potion…
[ Enhanced Dragon's Veil Elixir: A rare, upgraded variant of the original Dragon's Veil Elixir, refined through high-tier alchemical synthesis and infused with stabilized Mana Crystals. This version was developed by Eclipse Revenant Clan alchemists.

Tundra didn't even read all of it and trusted the potion as soon as he saw its name.
He uncorked it and drank the contents in one go.
The effect was instant.
His Spirit flow surged. The interference faded, and the Silence Field no longer affected him.
Tundra stood up as he felt perfectly fine now… This happened in an instant, and he couldn't help but thank Roan in his mind. Their supply of Dragon's Veil Elixir was all thanks to Raze's Dragon after all.
"Thanks, Duran…" Tundra said as he turned to the man.
Duran nodded. "Finish that Zombie Lord then..."
Tundra nodded as he activated his Skill. He could feel the Bombs again!
Thankfully, they weren't removed by the Silence Field. It seemed that it was only effective on Survivor Skills that are yet to be activated.
As he triggered the twenty bombs, all of them responded!
Boom!
The explosion was massive.
Twenty synchronized detonations erupted across Ves's body.
Fire, heat, and shockwaves tore through the biomechanical frame.
The ground shook like there was an earthquake… Smoke covered the defense line, and Warden Units paused their fire…
At this point, they couldn't even see Ves due to the massive explosion.
***
Inside the Command Center, Reylin nervously watched as she wanted to get confirmation that the Zombie Lord was dead.
After all, anyone capable of suppressing Survivor Skills wasn't something that should stay alive. They must be killed immediately.
"Tundra got a direct hit… I hope twenty bombs at the same time is enough." one operator confirmed.
Reylin didn't speak and only nodded…
She waited as the smoke cleared.
Thankfully, Ves was down.
Its body was torn apart. One leg was missing. The mechanical eye was shattered. The arm holding the steep pipe was also destroyed…
But its core was still active! The Zombie Lord wasn't dead just yet!
"It will regenerate… Hurry!" Reylin ordered as she knew that Zombie Lords were tough creatures. If they were given time to regenerate, they would be the ones to suffer.
On the battlefield, Tundra didn't relax as he was also aware of it.
Ves's body twitched as the remaining mechanical limbs began to move again.
"Duran… That Zombie Lord is still alive… Let's work together this time." Tundra said as he already noticed that the Silence Field of the Zombie Lord had disappeared, thanks to his bomb detonation.
"I see it," Duran replied. "Yes… We need to destroy the core."
Tundra nodded as he sprinted forward…
Ves saw Tundra and its remaining arm swing in his direction.
Tundra ducked under it and slapped his palm against the zombie's chest.
One more bomb.
He moved again, circling the torso and tapping the exposed spine.
Just like that, another bomb was planted…
Then, Tundra targeted the shoulder joint, the base of the neck, and the back of the skull.
Duran moved in behind him, jabbing the Spirit Lance into Ves's hip joint. The burst of energy caused the limb to seize up, preventing the zombie from standing.
"Keep it down!" Tundra shouted.
"I've got it!" Duran replied. "Just finish the setup!"
