Chapter 47 - Her Majesty the Empress Gets Paid

The 15th of the next month.

“Nothing… nothing! How come my salary hasn't arrived yet…?!”

Early in the morning, breaking her usual habit of sleeping in, Long Yue woke up bright and early. After washing up, she sat on the sofa with her legs curled up, letting her hot milk cool while staring intently at her bank account.
