A young master of the Stormseeker clan, specialising in lightning magic. In his 1st encounter with Baiyun, he seemed upset about how he defeated the wolves in Guan Qiang's trial in such an unfair manner and obtained the 3rd place prize instead of him. So when Ying Shi recruited Baiyun into the hunting party, he immediately challenged him to a duel but lost in a embarrassing manner.

It turns out Ying Shi assigned Sanguang the role of "instigator" however, picking fights with new members to see how they react under conflict. Sanguang's grudge with Baiyun was never real to begin with, and he soon warms up to the latter.

Grandfather of Qinghe and temporary master of the Myriad Herbs clan. One of his pinkies is a replacement limb that can morph into various tools. Beyond just a mastery of Alchemy, he has shown mastery in a vast array of fields, be it Formations, Artefacts, Spirit Arts and even dabbling in Corpse Refinement. But even those examples are just a brief glimpse into the depths of his mastery, his thirst for knowledge unending.

He dotes on Qinghe greatly but shows tougher love to his grandson Shanhe, constantly berating him for the most minor of things. But despite his softer side to his family, he is very pragmatic and self serving, and will not hesitate to do unsavoury things to get people to do his bidding. When things do not go his way, he is quick to anger and will begin shouting at everyone.

Both a young master and an elder of the Myriad Herbs clan, brother to Qinghe and grandson of Laohe. Due to accidents when refining a pinnacle-grade Faux Phoenix Core pill, he was blown into the stratosphere by a exploding volcano. This resulted in him losing all his skin along with his arm and leg, and only with with Laohe's help did he return to normalcy with prosthetics. He is completely hairless and bald, with ink lines drawn in place of eyebrows.

His incredible skill in alchemy allows him to create pills worth millions of tokens. This gives him great confidence in himself and he finds great satisfaction in bragging to others about his feats exaggeratedly. This bravado completely deflates when he is around Laohe however, and he becomes meek and reclused instead.

He is very fond of his younger sister Qinghe and often tells her stories of his exploits and misadventures. Qinghe is just as fond of him, and he is one of the very few people she opens up to.
