Apocalyptic Era: Starting from picking up a Bishoujo

Chapter 785: Little Bowl vs. Tai Sui

I poured all the power I could muster into this strike, concentrating the true spirit power extracted from numerous divine seal fragments under my control and gravity compression, into the ultimate point.

The true spirit power of fifteen divine seal fragments, while far inferior in scale to the power of the Third Door of Impermanence, is not about size when targeting a humanoid form. The most crucial factor remains density. All power was fully utilized by me; whether it's the power of divine seal fragments, or the power of the Third Door, every bit of it that could damage the true spirit was condensed at the sword tip, aiming directly for Shan Liangyi's true spirit.

In essence, the true spirit neither has size nor shape, nor does it experience damage. It either exists or does not. The incomplete true spirit form brought about by innate manifestation talent, while displaying "damage level" proof of its "incomplete" nature, nevertheless possesses the distinct colors of genuine true spirit. In the attempt to destroy it, depth of destruction outweighs area of damage. In today's world, no one understands this better than I.

Shan Liangyi released mana fluctuations that seemed to exceed the limit of intensity, yet he couldn't escape this attack's range, nor could he defend against it. Not even I can do it, let alone him at this moment.

However, he still has one option, and that is to self-destruct right now.

Suicidal speed of innate manifestation talent users is unparalleled. Even the hard-to-die Third Door of Impermanence can easily self-destruct with this talent. In the past, I've used this unimaginable suicidal speed to escape life-and-death crises more than once, and Shan Liangyi wouldn't be any different now.

This suicidal speed, when combined with his reincarnation ability, creates multiplicative synergy.

He could instantly trigger his reincarnation while avoiding damage to his true spirit here. Since the true spirit is not harmed, he wouldn't fail to reincarnate back as a "role of this era" unlike previously when killed by the Old Fist God. From my perspective, it could seem terrifying that Shan Liangyi vanishes in one instant and returns in a stronger form accumulated through reincarnation of a hundred lifetimes the next.

Fortunately, I am not unprepared for this. The power of return accumulating latent in his body acts as a planted thunder to curb such development. If Shan Liangyi attempts to self-destruct to escape, the power of return will first "protect" his soul from immediate self-disintegration, ensuring he dies under my killing move.

This binding won't entirely stop Shan Liangyi, but I need only an instant to suffice.

However, it turned out my carefully prepared plans were futile.

Perhaps, Shan Liangyi wasn't in full form previously, allowing himself to retreat temporarily, but this time, he won't permit himself to evade.

Faced with death, he refuses to acknowledge defeat to me.

"How could I possibly... be defeated by you—!!" He roared, charging toward my ultimate technique.

Yin Yang black and white magic power encircled his entire body, transforming him into a black and white comet, smashing directly into the Solar Eclipse Sword resembling a black hole.

Immediately, the black and white comet was scattered, disintegrating into a massive fragmented cloud ring.

His soul was thoroughly disintegrated, and his true spirit layer crumbled beneath this sword. I no longer sense his existence.

Shan Liangyi, deceased.

The sword formed by the solar eclipse flame dissipated from my hand. At Shan Liangyi's death site, three divine seal fragments hovered in place. I shifted to the spot and surveyed my surroundings.

I purposefully waited a moment. Sure enough, Shan Liangyi didn't emerge from the shadows again. He didn't revive with a manifestation undying body, nor did he appear in a stronger form. Careful sensing revealed no historical changes, confirming Shan Liangyi hadn't reincarnated to past eras.

My intuition also tells me that even in the distant future, Shan Liangyi won't reappear in this universe. While the Old Fist God failed to cease Shan Liangyi's reincarnation in this universe, I truly achieved it.

This battle signifies my victory.

Closely tied to the origin of my power, the massive shadow cast over my heart from long ago has finally been shattered by my own hand.

The gaze, unbeknownst from where, watching the battlefield, seems satisfied with this outcome, now transformed into a fervor and battle spirit capable of scorching the skin, eager to duel me.

Meanwhile, Tai Sui's voice sounded in my ear, observing my scene, filled with unresolved emotions, "Zhuang Cheng... what exactly did you protect?"

I also glanced downward. At this moment, the earth has become fragmented scorched land, and from high above, the cracks resemble dense spider webs, with hot magma substances and noxious gases erupting from them—a scene akin to doomsday.

Ignoring Tai Sui's voice, I took hold of the three divine seal fragments floating mid-air.

"...All conditions have aligned," Tai Sui said solemnly, "With these three divine seal fragments, plus the fifteen divine seal fragments you've currently bound, you have a total of eighteen. Even calculating with the maximum number of Doomsday Divine Seal Fragments, you possess more than half the share. Promise me to reboot the world, and I'll immediately transfer the position of Master of Divine Seal to you.

"Doing so can prevent doomsday from arising, and instantly restore this ravaged world to its original state... as long as you promise me! Swear to me!"

"I refuse." I said, looking at the divine seal fragments in my hand.

"Why!?" Tai Sui angrily said, "Look at the world you've wreaked havoc on... open your eyes and look! Didn't you say you wanted to protect the world, save the world?

"You spoke confidently before, and now not only caused such harm for your victory, but also refuse to restore it? Is this your so-called protection and salvation? Turns out it's just talk!?

"Or is it that if the world cannot exist as you desire, you'd rather destroy it yourself than allow its true correct form? Is this your deepest thought!?"

"I will save the world; I will also become the Master of Divine Seal," I said, "in my own way."

"Stop spouting such unrealistic theories!" Tai Sui angrily said, "Without my permission, what makes you qualify to become the Master of Divine Seal? No matter how many times you say this whimsical claim, it will never come true! You—wait, what are you doing?"

Under his confused gaze, I instantly released the binding of fourteen divine seal fragments, keeping only one for myself.

Simulating the power of Little Bowl as the Divine Son, or using the Third Door's power like Shan Liangyi previously did to seize my divine seal fragments, it's no difficulty for me to autonomously unbind divine seal fragments. The real challenge is what's next.

I'm aware of another location. At Gua Tianshi's hideout, Little Bowl is sitting idle. Even though our battlefield hasn't shifted there, the battle's impact reached that place too. The land there is also fragmented, nearby volcanoes erupted, forests engulfed by magma and black dust. Thankfully, a barrier protected the residence, sparing Little Bowl from impact.

Orange flame suddenly rose in my palm, enveloping the fourteen unbound divine seal fragments along with the three Shan Liangyi left behind. Flame transmission then activated, sending all seventeen divine seal fragments to Little Bowl.

Little Bowl now is my retinue; her soul comprises over ninety percent of my power—a different kind of "Firefly." Thus, she can be designated as a flame transmission destination. All seventeen divine seal fragments transmitted into Little Bowl's body and instantly formed a binding relationship with her soul.

Seeing I handed over so many divine seal fragments to Little Bowl, Tai Sui voiced shock as if witnessing a scene beyond his imagination, "You... what are you doing!?"

"Little Bowl, begin," I said.

Little Bowl stood up, eyes resolute, "Yes, Brother Zhuang Cheng."

"Zhuang Cheng, could it be—" Tai Sui seemed to realize a possibility he'd never imagined.

To prevent involving the people in the residence, Little Bowl stepped forward. As our minds connected, I manipulated space to have her traverse thousands of miles in a step, arriving high above the North Pole. Immediately, she raised her hand, twenty divine seal fragments appeared above her palm.

Her body wholly disassembled, transforming into orange flames, plunging into these divine seal fragments.

Little Bowl submerged into the divine seal fragments!

At this moment, she's not solely employing her Divine Son power; I simulated an even greater Divine Son power than Little Bowl's and bestowed it upon her, amplifying her strength to merge into the divine seal fragments. Like my alter ego, she transmitted every sensed information into my consciousness.

The flame transformed Little Bowl entered a space filled with gray mist, evidently the Void Realm, where Tai Sui in elderly form stood before a gigantic rock throne.
