Chapter 30: The Transformer’s True Form (Part 2)

Zhou Yi was shocked: "There's such a thing? Tell me more in detail."

"It's like this."

Qing Liu extended a translucent line from its arm, guiding a pawn-like piece across the silver ground into another box-like area that resembled an experiment zone.

Then it took out a translucent gray hash-shaped object — this, Zhou Yi was familiar with, was a Cave People's cadaver.

Compared to the Cave People's cadaver, the pawn appeared very small, less than 1/20th the size of the former.

It drove into the cadaver like a bumper car, soon burrowing inside.

Moments later.

The Cave People's cadaver started to move. At first, it was a bit clumsy, but it gradually became agile, moving back and forth in the Petri dish, still maintaining the demeanor of a pawn.

Zhou Yi asked, puzzled: "What is its purpose?"

"It allows direct reading of the information recorded inside the Cave People's cadaver without being noticed by the Transformer. They can use the Cave People's cadaver to replace dying glass men, enabling the originally near-death Transformer to restore the life support to an active state. For Transformers, it's like... life-extending stem cells."

Zhou Yi let out a hiss.

Whoa.

You were supposed to decode the Heavenly People, yet you discovered a life-extending medical procedure for them...

"And also!"

Qing Liu nudged the pawn forward with its lines, excitedly saying: "It was by cultivating the pawn and implanting it into the body of the severely injured Transformer that we managed to decipher the Transformers."

"The Transformers claim to be Star Dust beings, a form of life resulting from a giant celestial collision. This is indeed correct, but their existence form is quite unique, most resembling what the old humans described as gravitons. They have no mass, propagate at light speed, cannot be directly observed in existing dimensions, and have almost complete penetration of all substances."

Zhou Yi repeated once more: "Their essence is graviton?"

Even though he didn't know what gravitons were.

"That can be considered so."

Qing Liu continued: "So Star Dust is both matter and consciousness, a special Energy State Life."

"Here, it needs to be explained with strings together."

"Strings are one-dimensional structures; they are vibrating filaments of Energy Body, also the basic building blocks of matter."

"Cultivator, do you know? Gravitons are a type of string. Just like the String Light we saw before, they belong to the same category."

"However, strings are divided into two types."

"The first type is open strings, whose ends are free. Electromagnetic, strong, and weak forces can be seen as different vibration modes of open strings."

"The second type is closed strings, which are looped. Gravitons are the lowest energy state vibration of closed strings."

"Gravitons are particle-depicting units. When they gather and vibrate in large numbers, they become gravitational waves. The relationship between the two is like that of water molecules and water waves. The former is the microscopic foundation, and the latter is the macroscopic phenomenon."

"And the life form of Star Dust can be regarded as gravitational waves. They form numerous closed loops, creating ripples propagating in the universe, maintaining continuity through interaction with various energy bodies, thereby giving birth to life consciousness."

"As gravitational waves, Star Dust oscillates back and forth in the universe, just like billiards moving between various energy bodies and material celestial bodies. Gathering enough closed strings can create an energy network spreading across different regions of the universe, with astonishing spatial coverage and positioning capabilities. The core of this network is the earliest Star Dust, which controls the entire string network. This is the String Civilization."

Zhou Yi, with a solemn look, organized his thoughts: "Graviton is the initial form, also a closed string. Then, many gravitons formed gravitational waves, from which Star Dust emerged. A large number of Star Dust interconnected to form a string network, eventually giving birth to String Civilization."

"Yes."

"In other words, String Civilization itself is essentially a string network made up of many Star Dust, but the initial Star Dust leads everything. The String Civilization is the entire string network, but its ruler is that original Star Dust; it is the essence of the String Civilization."

"Yes, Cultivator, that's the meaning."

Qing Liu nodded.

Zhou Yi asked: "Hold on, so currently when the String Civilization continuously emits String Light beyond the Sun, it's emitting Star Dust it controls or graviton?"

"It's graviton."

"Oh."

Zhou Yi slightly frowned: "So the deadly String Light to the Heavenly People is actually forcibly triggering closed strings with gravitons, disrupting the closed string structure of Star Dust?"

"Exactly! It seems you have understood everything."

Qing Liu said happily.

"Not really..."

Zhou Yi stroked his chin: "String Civilization uses Assembly structures to transform Star Dust into Transformers."

"Yes."

"Then, inside the Transformers, the Intelligence Core in the basic unit, which is an organic and inorganic mixture formed by the Cave People's cadaver and Ancestral Land, is used to store and stabilize carrying Star Dust. When a Transformer collapses and dies, the most core Star Dust in the body will spill out?"

Qing Liu nodded: "Exactly. They will instantly be swept away by the cosmic energy tides, making it impossible to determine what spatial region they will be sent to. Without the string network led by String Civilization, they are like being lost in the ocean without land and boats, only able to float along with the currents."

Zhou Yi caught a hint of revelation: "So they are actually purely Energy Bodies, unable to separate matter and consciousness?"

"Yes."

Qing Liu said: "Their strength and weakness lie in this."

"Star Dust cannot be observed. They are one-dimensional energy bodies capable of traversing various spaces with no mass and no decay or dissipation. They are inherently immortal."

"But likewise, their characteristics make them unable to stay in any one space, having to move and traverse constantly from birth. They will be gravitationally pulled by energy tides into various spaces and dimensions without self-control. They are like travelers in the numerous energy beams throughout the universe."

"They are one-dimensional in nature, only able to move forward or backward, with no other choices. Once captured by the string network, they cannot escape and can only rotate along its track, similar to trains on rails."

"String Civilization created Transformers as material carriers to better utilize and store the characteristics of Star Dust... This approach is like humans using fire. The only difference is that the String Civilization uses living life as fire."

Zhou Yi understood now.

The immortality characteristic requires the Star Dust to seal the String Civilization. Otherwise, the String Civilization would subject them to endless slavery.

Death is the most terrifying thing for most life.

But against the String Civilization, the immortal body becomes the despair of Star Dust.

"That's roughly the situation."

The silver metalman said: "Cultivator, we can now use the pawn to cure the severely injured Transformer. Should we do so now?"

Zhou Yi thought for a moment: "Can we completely control the pawn?"

"Yes. This is a specifically developed organism, tailored to the physiological characteristics of Transformers. With Cave People and mantle bacteria, we can issue commands by emitting consciousness ripples."

Qing Liu gestured with a thumbs-up — a gesture it learned and liked from Zhou Yi.

Zhou Yi immediately said: "Then cure it. Let's observe for now and decide what's next."

The infection of Heavenly People was successful!

In the past, Zhou Yi despised Shafulin for creating viruses that caused large-scale infections.

But against the Heavenly People.

There's no need to talk about chivalry.

Use whatever works!

...

A day later.

Above Mars Base, the severely injured Heavenly People suspended next to the Seeder Ship, Gemstone Body, suddenly began to move and accelerate. Numerous gemstones flowed and circulated on its body, and its pallid surface gradually turned into a full and vibrant blue.

The spherical Gemstone Body slowly detached from the Seeder Ship.

It rotated in the high sky for a while, its surface flashing white, blue, black, and red, like a self-tuning large lamp ball.

In the end, its surface returned to blue-white.

The Gemstone Body then slowly transformed into a human shape.

The Gem giant in mid-air raised its right arm, making a thumbs-up gesture, then curled back into a ball, immediately contracting and disappearing in the air.

Zhou Yi and many Martian residents watched this scene live.

Everyone was discussing what really happened and why the Heavenly People were making a thumbs-up gesture towards the Seeder Ship in the high sky.

Mere seconds later.

Beyond the space barrier, two more shattered Gemstone Bodies flashed, one resembling a broken giant crystal cluster and the other like a flickering hazy light bulb.

Over at Qing Liu's side: "Cultivator, two more severely injured individuals have arrived. The Transformers are very grateful to us for saving the previously near-dead member and are very happy and excited. They are asking for further help in healing them. They are willing to provide anything we need as long as we help them heal the wounded, and they also brought lots of gemstones..."

Zhou Yi said: "Continue the treatment and further collect relevant data."

"Yes!"
