"I have this.."'stretching his hand out, Enzo revealed some dark pearls extracted from the corspe of a beast.
This was a gem stone typically found in the life center of the brain of corrupted beasts, it was said to be where the soul was stored retreated from the disease that was corruption.
"That's great!" The ghost seemed rather excited. This was very special to ghosts, as it represented what they valued and treasured the most.
Soul power
"What do you want to know?" Feeling a bit giddy, the ghost pulled out the ethereal ax from his head and placed it on the table a smile on his face as the crowd became rowdier.
"I want to know about rune city, what is it? Why are there so many different monster species here to be corrupted and most of all why there's a Demi god here?" Enzo asked straightforwardly
This place was clearly special to have a Demi god dragging it around, but that wasn't all. They had watched orbital strikes fail to penetrate the city, a demi god get tossed around like a rag doll.
What ever this city was, it couldn't be normal.
"Ohh, that's an interesting story, yes." The ghost seemed to beam as a memory flashed through his eyes as if remembering his glory days.
"First things first, this city isn't native to Galafray" the ghost spoke words sharp and direct.
Rune city was a gift from the monarch of life to his daughter Victoria draken, otherwise known as the red god. After escaping the prison world, she was welcomed home by her lord father with open arms and love.
The old man didn't meddle in sibling affairs outside of his kingdom, but was always fair when his children were in house.
Seeing her escape that dreadful place and advance to god rank he had given her a providencial city to rule one that was of immense value and importance.
This city was one of the main production centers of the kingdom and pumped the runes needed to make weapons to his armies. Coincidentally, it was also the main city that supported Raz her younger brother.
The story was blurry to him, but all he could remember was that the part of the city that fed Raz with weapons and inscriptions hand been physically removed from the kingdom and brought here attached to wheels and a giant sand worm.
This was how rune city was born
It was cut out from the divine kingdom of the monarch of life, the welder of a universal concept.
"Hmmm, The monarch of life?" Enzo raised his eyebrow, he had heard about this figure from Victorias stories, but always thought he was something he couldn't fathom so he threw it aside.
But now he was in a city that was previously part of his kingdom?
"You'll need a million of such gems to get me to talk about the monarch kid, let's stick to the topic" the ghost sharply said turning away before looking back to Enzo.
"The city came down a decades after the red god had settled here on Galafray, but it is still one of the most valuable places here. Its weapons served to protect us for centuries bringing Galafray to the universe stage"
"Honestly, you guys are biting off more than you can chew, you've not even started to scratch the surface of this monsterocity." He added then turned to Enzo looking at him in the eyes.
The ghost could see the force that had entered Galafray, they could see their attempts, but could never really involve themselves as they were invisible.
"Hmm, that's for us to worry about" Enzo smiled bitterly then brought out another handful of black gems.
" I need a guide, someone to take me into the dark side of the city. I wonder if I can get someone"
This payment was just for information on whom to contact because he understood to that a great many of the ghost in the city also wouldn't go to the dark side.
It was a death trap to everyone, both leaving abd death.
"Hehe, I'm afraid I can't help you with that kid, keep your money. No one would make that journey with you" the ghost shook his head. The greed in his eyes were apparent, but not as much as the fear.
Death was only a release, but even the dead could still die a more profound type of death.
"Hm?" Enzo was taken aback.
He could understand this one being a coward, but was he saying no one was crazy enough even venture into the city? That was over exaggerating no?
"Why not ask for something else kid? I'm sure I can satisfy whatever information you need" smiling coyly the ghost said.
But Enzo shook his head and stood up to check around for someone with more gots.
Unfortunately no one agreeed to his request and the best he got was a map of 1/3 of the dark side complied by some dead ghost.
"What kind of a place is it to kill even the dead?" Enzo muttered to himself as he walked out of the cathedral, looking at the gloomy area behind it that stretched far and wide.
While he was doing so, it felt that something temporarily looked back at him causing him to feel fear as he immediately jumped through his shadow and went home.

The next day came a long while later, but come it did, and with it a rejuvenated feeling spread throughout the barracks.
"Jabr, you are in charge of the holy eminents today" from a speaker a crude voice resounded early in the morning indicating whom would be going to take care of the holy weavers.
After 7th day duty was typically the hardest as most of the holy weavers would be either too injured or too irritated to speak.
It was a gloomy atmosphere that destroyed morale.
"Hey, want to switch?" As the young man whom had be chosen went to supply room to get the necessary kits for the holy eminents, he was cornered by a kid with black hair and ficued look.
"Switch?" The young man recognized Enzo and Zhou who was behind him.
These two were first years, and had a pretty solid reputation after topping number one on the project board.
"Yes, it's no big deal. I just want to have a chat with my teacher so I can take care of a few things" Enzo doubled down.
There was no need for him to refuse, after all, this was a bother of an assignment, there was little to no reward.
"Sure!!" Not wasting time he handed over the keys to the supply room and left before giving them a chance to change their mind.
With the briefing from the grand regent everyone was planning on how they would seize the opportunity to advance. A head start was quite important in fact so you could imagine how detected he felt when he was told to go on holy eminent duty.
Thank god for Enzo and his friends.
"Let's get what we can," seeing him leave Enzo spoke as Raven, Zeke and Zhou entered the room and took out several tools, before anyone could say anything they were gone.
"This is so tiring" atop a rooftop somewhere not too far away from the barracks, four men sat on the rooftops exhausted.
"We killed three tyrants in one night, of course its tiring" master black turned on his back and laid face first on the roof top.
The 7th night was always eventful, and half the time the barely made it out alive. Thankfully they were still here.
"This is something to be proud of" suddenly master Seth mocked.
These people were all his students once, and now they were of the same level complaining about killimg tyrants, he was proud of them no doubt, but felt they were a bit inexperienced.
Every kill at the Level of a tyrant was gold to them, it was one step closer to demi god, in a world where threats like these did not typically exist.
To put it into prepective, In the past 5 years, he had killed 3 tyrant corrupted beasts, and today in one daythey killed three. The difference was like night and day.
"Hehe," The snowfall Holy eminent smiled bitterly then coiled up in the ground.
Soon, several figures approached them with bags of first aid and food wrapped in foil paper.
"Ah? It's you again? What did the barracks suffer any losses" suddenly master Seth frowned .
He had seen Enzo here before, there was supposed to be schedule, so he was worried there was a manpower shortage.
"Oh no, everyone's fine. No attacks on the barracks" Enzo said and he dropped infront of the old man.
They were out here all day mainly because of them, their tighting made sure a majority of the bears were too sacred to approach the barracks for fear of instant death.
Their worry stemmed not from the lack of individuals to feed them, but the thought that they had failed in their duties and students had died because of it.
