"It's a match, Third generation" Enzo smiled suddenly a rush of excitement filled him as he read the information on the screen before him.

The shell was the offspring of a mother born from mother venom milk. A lot of the venomous creatures in this forest were born from her, but always in the fourth to fifth generations, they needed at least a second generation relative to know they were on the right track.

After informing those in the crawler…

"Let's go deeper, we will have to scan for DNA traces" Enzo signalled to iceberg and together the went deeper into the cave system.

The place was largely empty, not a sign of life other than the cracked shells. This was new in fact as places like these were usually crawling with small creatures, a result of periodic hatching.

"They are all third generations, not a single second generation." After searching all the way to the end of the cave Enzo felt real frustration. Their first break was going to be a dead end? There was nothing more disheartening than that.

Bent down Enzo felt a headache coming on as his gaze moved to the left and fell ontop a dried skin mark on the ground.

"That's…molt?" Enzo picked it up and walked over to iceberg who was currently scanning a new batch of egg shells.

"Test this" Enzo contained himself, not jumping to conclusions. This was an underground hole, they was a myriad of creatures that could crawl down here and die daily.

"Sure" not paying much mind, iceberg shrugged his shoulders and concluded his scans before moving to scan the molted skin on the ground….

"It's second generation!!" Icebergs eyes glowed a surge of surprise filled them.

Finally!!

"That's progress, check how old it is" Enzo sighed in relief then quickly asked.

"That's…1 week old, it should still be in the vicinity" Iceberg said calmly calculating the Data.

If the creature was somewhere here, then they could capture it, Serving as some progress, maybe even master Seth would give them an easier time for not completing the mission.

Of course, if they could actually accomplish their goals? It was a completely different matter.

Gripping the molted skin fightly, Enzo sighed. Progress was progress.

Later they boarded the crawler and continued their search now in a limited area looking for the second generation offspring of mother venom milk.

While they did this, Enzo sat in the back doing his own computations and research with the void coffin. It couldn't directly find mother venom milk, but Enzo could use its knowledge to do so.

But half way during his search he heard something that made him not just pause but also enlightened.

Under a particular thread of questions the void coffin and spoken about the night creatures ability to track prey at night.

"What do you mean by night creatures are the ultimate hunters?" Enzo asked with squinted brows.

[The night creature is a hound of the night, it was born when an offender stole from the king of the Night to track down and bring back all that belongs to it]

Night creature, aside from his first voyage this was the first time Enzo was really hearing something unique about his avatar.

[The night creature has a myriad of abilities, abilities that allow it to cover large distances In a short period, the ability to sniff out their prey by the smell of their esssense and the ability to divine their position using night vision]

"No wonder " Enzo thought to himself

He had always wondered about the night vision ability, it was too unique for a night creature, it seemed like the type of night creature he was, was not what he had heard of on the internet.

"I don't have any of these skills though…" Enzo thought to himself. Aside from the night vision ability he didn't have….

"Oh I do," Enzo smiled.

He had shadow step, and night vision, it seemed like it was something he could do and just needed to have the skill to learn it.

"You wouldn't happen to have the sniff ability would you?" Enzo asked with a bitter smile.

Of course not, he knew the coffin could not give him abilities at will.

[No, but the night vision skill can be temporaryily unlocked ]

Enzo froze, and frowned.

That skill was very disturbing, but Enzo never got time to really use it. Maybe now…

"What do I need to do?" Enzo spoke calmly and in a tempered tone.

[20 years of your life]

"Deal!!" Enzo smiled. This was a steep price for anyone, even him, but thank goodness Enzo could afford it.

[Accepted, chant the name of whom you seek]

The coffin resounded in Enzo's head as he quickly followed instructions and recited mother venom milk over and over again.

Suddenly Enzo felt his voice drain his gaze suddenly became blurry as he slowly fell into a deep sleep on his chair .

In that dream there was a mountain upside down and withing that mountain were two crustaceans with claws as sharp as razors

Below them, an angry women gritted her teeth in annoyance looking up at the sky while holding a little frog, she was pissed off beyond belief, the kind that only showed when a mothers child was threatened.

"I'll kill you old man, I swear on my honor, I'll kill you and every member of your puny race!!"

While she did this, Enzo scanned his surroundings quickly trying to figure out where he was. Whatever was her situation had nothing to do with him. He needed to find out where she was.

"Waterfall"

"Two peaks"

"No? Crab shells?"

"A depression, this is below sea level…."

Enzo quickly noted where he was to search the things he was to look out for then suddenly his eyes snapped open.

[Night vision deactivated, to use before the Exalted Rank, you must pay 20 years of lifespan.]

"You must be exhausted" Savage Wolf commented his figure squated right next to Enzo with a wide smile on his face.

"Ahh, give me a piece of paper" Enzo suddenly looked to the side and said to Raven causing her to frown.

She however didn't think too much about it and handed him what he wanted.

Seconds later Enzo scribbled some land marks around the paper and showed it to savage wolf.

"Don't ask me how, but I have a feeling" Enzo smiled coyly showing what he saw in the dream.

It was a scene of what was to come.

"Ahh??" Savage wolf looked confused…..

"A dream huh? I can dream too!!" On the left the other snowfall twin, Windfall spoke in a playful tone as they walked throug the forest.

He didn't quite believe what Enzo had said about the whole dream thing, but it wasn't really out of their way so he just went with it like the others.

But inside he couldn't help but mock

Was this the guy he had seen rip through the maw of the hammerhead centipede? Maybe it was just luck? How could someone be so gullible?

Naturally Enzo could feel it in his bones how everyone felt about this. He was banking his reputation on a dream divination, this was a form of professional sucide.

But then again.

"Huh? There's really such a place?" Suddenly savage wolf frowned looking in the distance through his binoculars.

Far into the distance a scene very similar to what Enzo had drawn came to view as he ordered them to slow down.

"There has to be logical explanation for this" windfall looked genuinely concerned. One minute he was doubting and the next….

"Divine revelation" Savage wolf suddenly said looking back to Enzo with widened eyes.

Divine revelation

Humans had long since left the glorification of gods and personifications of god. However they very much believed in the powers of super planets.

These were mystical places that granted the people abundant resources, amplified powers and gave legacies. If not a divine entity then what else?

They also believed that these worlds were sentient, and had chosen humanity in the fight against the darkness of corruption. It was not impossible for special people to receive a divine revelation from the super worlds to fight against corruption.

This was the only excuse savage wolf could think of for Enzo's dream right now. It couldn't be anything else.

"Hehe, yes divine revelation" Enzo smiled back at savage wolf before turning back to the opening far infront.

Only he knew why he had that dream of his, and hopefully only he would keep knowing since he didn't plan on devulging how.

"We still need to do some scouting before getting master Seth involved…" Enzo added, looking around the room for support.

They couldn't have the old man come all the way out here to meet nothing, it would be a waste of time and resources.

"I'll check myself" Enzo stood up and picked up his cloak which was on the table beside him.

"I'll be in and out really quick"
