"Yup. Though, I'm not gonna give out any more information about my identity." he said before facing the students, "I'm a bruiser with a lot of health so I can both tank and deal damage. I do not have an aggro skill but I can take a lot of hits so if you don't mind, I can be at the front with Patrick."
Patrick glanced at his teammates before nodding. It was always a good thing to have a tank and one that volunteered to soak up damage? That was even rare.
Especially since their team didn't really have a healer. A priest just gave buffs and the healing spells were basically non existent at D rank.
"Before we begin." Alicia said before she pointed at the two extra members behind her, "That one's a Marksman and the other one's a Mage. He's a D rank and only has one skill."
'Ah the underhanded jabs… she's changed.' Amon thought as he glanced at the guy who was wearing a bright red cargo shorts.
That was the marksman and the other one was an exaggeratedly tall mage. Standing over seven foot tall, he was extremely lanky which reminded Amon of stickmen.
"Got it." he said as he walked towards the dungeon and stopped at the entrance.
[Patrick invites you to his party. Would you like to accept?]
'Yes.'
As soon as he joined, he walked into the dungeon. Seeing this, both Alicia and Patrick sighed.
They had high expectations but the guy just barged in without asking for any information. How was he going to perform well if he didn't know how his team's skills worked?
'I guess we got another useless case.' Alicia thought as she glanced at the marksman and the mage, "Get in."
Patrick followed behind the two with his team, 'I guess I'll be tanking all by myself.'
Once they walked in, all they saw were bones fallen on the ground.
Originally, they'd be in the form of a complete skeleton with all their bones attached at the right places but now, they were all scattered.
Undead dungeons operated a little different compared to the other ones. Usually the corpses would turn into ashes but for undead, their bones would just fall onto the ground once their hp went down to zero.
They were also different with their spawns. If a D rank dungeon had monsters spawning in groups of three, the undead took it up to 10.
And right now, all they saw was a pile of bones.
"What happened here?" Patrick asked as he looked at the marksman and the mage but both of them just shook their heads.
"They were like this when we arrived here and that other guy is nowhere to be seen." the marksman said before moving aside.
Patrick was the tank so he would have to go first.
'He killed all of them on his own? And he did it before we all arrived… I refuse to believe it.' Patrick thought as he walked forward and took his position before marching forward.
Alicia stayed at the back and kept watch while following behind them.
Kenji sneakily took out a chocolate bar and nudged Patricia, "Here."
The girl smiled before taking it and whispered, "Thank you!"
Kenji immediately felt a warmth spread through his heart as he nodded, "You worked hard in the last dungeon."
"You worked hard too, Kenji. Here." she said as she gave him one third of the chocolate bar before nudging Jordan.
Kenji watched as she gave him one third and then took a small bite from what was left over.
His expression turned a little gloomy but he forced himself to focus on the dungeon, only to fail miserably as his thoughts drifted.
'Why does she keep going to him when he's so cold to her…'
The group walked for ten whole minutes and passed by multiple piles of bones before they finally found Amon sitting against he wall.
"Oh hey guys, I didn't see you guys so I thought of waiting. If you guys lost any health, you can tell me. I have some nice pills." he said as he took one out of his inventory and put it in his mouth.
"What is that?" Alicia asked first as she walked towards him.
"A vitality pill basically. Works like a health potion but also gives vitality stats for a few minutes. Thirty to be precise." Amon said enthusiastically as he took out another one and gave it to her.
Alicia stared at the pill for a few seconds before taking out a pair of glasses and put them on.
"Hmm… you didn't lie. It is indeed pretty effective but how much did it cost?" she asked as she looked at Amon.
"Just fifty coins. You should be able to find it in the market but many people don't know about the pills so they just buy the potions."
Alicia nodded and stared at the pill in silence. Since she wasn't inside the dungeon, she couldn't really access the market.
"I know the person who makes these so if you want some, you can always preorder. I'll be the middleman." Amon added.
'Fifty coins… an F rank health potion usually goes for a hundred coins. Half the price and better effects… I'll have to talk to the headmaster about this before making a decision.'
She nodded before she looked past Amon and stared into the cave, "How do I contact you?"
"The next time we team up. Just tell me when you'll be doing dungeons and I'll make some time for you guys."
"Okay." she said and turned to look at the others, "We'll continue forward once Monkey has recovered."
"Oh I've already recovered, don't worry." Amon said as he got to his feet, "I was just waiting for you guys."
Patrick nodded as he followed behind Amon and for the first time, he felt curious.
A group of skeletons stood at the front and instead of going forward with Amon, he stopped and just watched.
"The monkey king is here! Wooo hooo!" Amon yelled as he dashed forward and crashed into them like a maniac.
