The public declaration was issued throughout the whole kingdom.

["As a reward and payment for their support against the late tyrant Garmfon kingdom, Alex Garmvoar, the kingdom of Mowiorano will receive a total control over specific territories that is located right next to the boarders between two nations."]

This was an official announcement that was made in the name of the current king, the King Ash.

This deal was already going to happened, since the entire noble faction knew the price for borrowing the elven kingdom strength and they were fine with throwing away some territory.

However, what they didn't know was the fact that the elven king demanded a territory of Mevon, which contained a national type dungeon, a dungeon that posses a potential to become one of the main sources of income for an entire nation.

And the king of the Garmfon kingdom ended up agreeing to this outrageous demand.

In turn? This obviously caused an outrage amongst the nobility.

"What is the meaning of this?!"

"You just handed over one of our main sources of income?! WHY!?"

"The elves demanded it?! Then just deny these tree fuckers!"

The nobles demanded an explanation from the king, wanting answer for the bizarre action taken by the king.

Some understood once the king explained the current situation to the said nobles…. Some accepted it…. But some others? They demanded the lost dungeon to be returned back to the kingdom.

However, there was nothing they could do.

Once the princess returned back to her kingdom, a second messenger was sent, this time requesting a meeting between two rulers at specific date.

This meeting was where the two kings sealed the deal by writing down the contract…. Which ended up finally and officially handing over the territory of Mevon to the elven kingdom.

Obviously, this resulted in even more internal conflict within the kingdom.

A conflict that was exploited by non-other than the rebellion faction, which has this as their opportunity to finally take the necessary action to reclaim the kingdom from the hands of the traitorous nobleman.

Meanwhile, the elves were also on the move, taking over newly acquired territory.

The overall process of handing over the territory to the elves did took few days of signing the contracts and other necessary documents, which was then fallowed up with the complete take over as the forces of the Garmfon kingdom ended up leaving the territory, allowing the elven forces to finally enter and take over the territory under their banners.

"….Okay… Why… Why is this place so shitty?" – asked the elven princess, Viviriana Wo'wa'rwa, who was leading the elven soldiers as the group arrived at the barely repaired Maw city.

"Well, according to our scouts, the territory was not only dealing with the rampaging golem dungeon, but also criminals, wild monsters… And apparently black market." – said the elven knight as soldiers began walking around, inspecting the city.

"Wait, what?! Why nobody has told me about this before?!" – asked pissed off princess.

(I've tried to, but you just…. Ah, never fucking mind.) – thought annoyed elven knight.

(I get that she is only child of the king, but he is spoiling her way too much.)

(He thinks that sending her to do "important" stuff will make her stand out or something….)

(When she is out in the public, she knows how to act…. But once she is out of people gazes…. She became an annoying brat… And I'm the one that have to deal with her for crying out loud.)

(I think if I wasn't here, she would definitely pull something like that…. And oh boy, that would really and I mean REALLY straight up piss them off further.) – thought the worried knight.

"There is also the problem with this territory being somewhat unstable and we need to set up own base… Then there comes also the recruitment and announcement."

"Pretty much, we are only here to keep control over the territory and see the golems."

"But afterwords, I don't think we may not be able to do anything until preparations are finished."

"And how would that take?" – asked princess.

"Em…. Weeks? Month? Depends on how fast we can recruit people." – replied the knight.

"We only just acquired this territory via political means, so there is limit on what we can do with this place yet, since we need to do first thing first with-"

"Tch."

"Then you deal with it." – said the princess as she started walking away.

"I need to move my stuff…. Oh god dammit! They haven't even finished repairing the mansion?! For crying out loud!" – said the spoiled adult brat as she stared at the unfinished building.

"Look, just deal with the golems, okay? You have my authority and stuff." – said the princess before then walking away.

"Em…. Why? We are still nowhere near forest?" – asked confused elven soldier as the group of the elven riders have

"Yea, but according to the reports, the golems are waiting inside of the forest." – replied the elven knight.

"And from what I also know, we maybe already in their detection range."

"Moving any further could end up with us getting attacked….But-"

"By the looks of things the golems are still inside of the forest?"

"….I don't know if it is good or bad…. But, as per our orders look around."

"See if there were any traces of golems outside the forest or if there are any of these creatures just wondering around."

(I guess I wasn't wrong.) – thought Thauma as it observed the scouts splitting up.
