[Current location: Maw City – 3 weeks after the quest regarding the golem dungeon has been posted.]

"….Welp… We are here… Once again." – said the human warrior who was carrying a spiked ball over his shoulder.

"Well…. This time a different kingdom is in charge… And this place doesn't look like some sort of shithole anymore at least." – said the thunder mage as well as female elven archer.

"Well, I've told you they would repair this place somewhat fast." – said the female elven archer.

"Still…. I barely see enough soldiers… I guess the info about the elven kingdom not helping out seems to be correct…."

"Then again, I recognize few faces."

"Some of the participants from the last time have come back…. And I can tell that some new bastards also showed up."

"Yea… I can tell that they are C ranks." – said the mage who noticed some individuals emanating strong type of mana from their bodies.

"….B ranks?" – asked Adam.

"Good chance that there are few in the mix."

"Well, it was already sometime since that attempt… By now a large number of golems should had been born… And if that were the case, then the danger rank could end up increasing."

"So why didn't they brough here some of their soldiers to join us?"

"Probably political reasons." – replied the mage.

"I mean, considering how everybody by now knows the relationship between two kingdom is…. Yea, I don't think they really could bring army here without causing a commotion."

"Hm? I guess they are starting." – said the female elf as she noticed the people gathering up.

"…"

"GATHER UP! GATHER UP ALL OF YOU!" – shouted the elven knight on the platform, trying to gather all of the adventurers in one place.

"…"

"Thank you all for gathering here today." – said the elven princess as she stepped on the wooden platform.

"My name is Viviriana Wo'wa'rwa."

"I'm the princess of Mowiorano kingdom as well as the main leader of this operation." – said the elven princess, introducing herself right in the open in front of everybody, which in turn caused many people start questioning why was a high-ranking figure of the elven kingdom present in this city.

"As may or may not know, this territory once belonged to the Garmfon kingdom."

"However, duo to the political reason, the control over this territory was handed over to us."

"But with is, we also obtained the rights to the golem dungeon."

"Some of you were once here in order to take on the golem dungeon and the forest that was infested with the golem monsters."

"And you know what happened."

"The Garmfon kingdom failed."

"And now? It is our turn to take on the dungeon…. Or more exactly, your turn."

"Duo to the political reasons, we are unable to bring a large number of troops near the new boarder between the kingdoms."

"And as you have noticed, we ended up recruiting a large number of adventurers in order to deal with this problem."

"Therefore, this will be a large scale operation that will be commanded by the adventurers, which will be led by non-other than the adventurer guild master, Wamr Wiowio." – said the princess as an elderly male elf eldered the stage.

"The operation will officially behind 2 days from now on."

"All necessary information will be posted on the boards, so for those who had arrived at the meeting or wish to obtain more detailed information, then please go ahead to the board."

"This is all."

"Dismissed."

"Rest and prepare."

"Since it is unknown how much the golem dungeon has changed ever since the last attempt."

"EXCUSE ME!" – shouted Adam, instantly getting attention of the everybody gathered.

"My name is Adam! A C-rank adventurer!"

"I was one of the adventurers that took part in the previous attempt of subjecting the dungeon."

"And I have a question that I and many other gathered here are wondering about."

"During the last attempt, the Garmfon kingdom alongside adventurers almost exterminated the golems."

"However, in a instance the situation instantly went full 180, when golems unleashed explosive on us out of nowhere."

"We now know that the golems possess explosive weapons of mass destruction, but did you found out anything about them?"

"Did you investigated them? Did you obtained a countermeasure?"

"As things currently stands, if the situation regarding the bombs hasn't been dealt with, nobody would even dare to set their foot inside of the forest."

"We need confirmation info."

"What do we do?"

"…"

"If I may." – said the princess's escort knight as he stepped in.

"As of right now, we still don't know how to deal with these so called 'bombs'."

"We couldn't send our soldiers into the forest for the obvious reasons, the golems were waiting for them."

"Therefore, once the operation begins, our main focus will be undercovering the secret about the last failure."

"…"

"So you are telling us to do it…. Okay." – said Adam as he turned away and left the area alongside his party.

"…"

[Few moments later: Lord's Mansion.]

"What the hell is going on here?!" – asked the princess.

"Why the hell as soon as that guy asked that question, all of these bastards expression changed?"

"…Maybe it is because of the fact that these 'bombs' was the thing that demolished them last time?" – replied the knight.

"Wait, really? Why nobody told me that?" – asked pissed off princess.

"…"

(Didn't you told her?) – the guild master gave eye signal to the knight, trying to convert the message.

(I've tried to, but as you can see, it didn't worked on her.) – replied the knight with eye signal.

"Hey! Are you listening to me?! Why didn't you dealt with that problem before hand?!" – asked the pissed off princess.

"Well, we just couldn't attack the forest or enter it." – replied the knight.

"And why is that?!" – asked princess.

"Because the golems in that forest behavior." – replied elderly elf.

"These golems are not real living creatures, they are living constructs."

"They don't need food or anything to survive."

"And by the looks of things…. They are now peaceful?"

"….The hell is that supposed to mean?" – asked confused princess.

"Well… We don't know?" – replied elderly elf.

"It seems these golems only focus is on protecting the forest."

"As long as nobody enters the forest, the golems wouldn't possible become active once again."

"We couldn't really risk it and having golems go on the rampage before the preparations were over…. So it is not like we didn't want to, but like we couldn't or this place could possible become a shithole before adventurers would come here."

"The risk was way too high to be ignored, and so without any choice we had to given up on even trying." – said the knight.

"Tch."

"Then you better deal with it." – said the princess as she then started walking away.

"I don't want to deal with these savages. Ugh." – said the princess before then storming off the room.

"…"

"Do you ever think about drop kicking her in the face?" – asked the elderly elf.

"Oh yea. All the fucking time." – replied the princess's escort knight.

"Honestly, it has been getting worse and worse lately…. To the point I'm straight up quitting after this job is done."

The first phase of preparation: The adventurers' recruitment has been completed.

And now, the elven kingdom can finally move towards the golem forest in order to set up their base of operation in order to finish the second step of their operation.

However, while this will be going on, several adventurers that specializes in scouting and gathering information will try to infiltrated the golem forest and try to find out what the bomb traps truly were and possible disarm them.

And so, they did.

On the day of operation, the army of adventurers marched towards the golem forest alongside some of the workers and soldiers from the elven kingdom, in order to start setting up their temporarily base, while a group of scouts were made to instantly start heading towards the forest in order to begin their mission.

However, there was a problem.

The master of the forest and the dungeon was watching as it all unfolded.

"…"

"Okay…. Fuck." – said the female human scout.

"You know what to do."

"Split up."

"All you have to do is to find out where and what these bombs are."

"They said that you have to disarm the bombs, if possible, but don't do that."

"If one of you fuck up and let the bomb go off, then all of us are fucked…. Got it?" – said the female adventurer before moments later the adventurers split up and entered the forest from multiple different points.

"…"

(Okay… They told us that these things are not really smart and are just object fallowing orders…. Still, considering how fucked Garmfon kingdom was according to the guys that were here before…. I wouldn't be surprised if what they just told us about the golems was fake.) – thought the female adventurer as she put her hands on the ground.

The female adventurer quickly climbed right on top of a tree, right before moments later a group of 3 golem puppet soldiers walked by.

"…"

(So, they are patrolling around, huh?)

(Perfect… Just fucking perfect.)

(Still… These guys are weirdly beaten up?)

(Did somebody attacked this place before we came here?) – thought the female adventurer as she quickly got off the tree and started sneaking around, hiding and moving from the shadows to shadows, avoiding the golem's detection as she made her way further into the forest.

(….)

"!"

(Shit! Here too?) – thought the adventurer as she once again quickly hid away from 2 different group of golems walking around.

(God dammit! The security here is tight!)

(They weren't kidding about this place being straight up infested with these things.)

(….But again… Where the hell are these things.?)

(According to the information, the bombs either appeared on the ground out of a blue or they suddenly dropped from the skies….)

(I've checked the ground if they maybe had dug underneath, it or if they hid amongst the trees… But there is straight up nothing.)

(This doesn't make sense…. Did maybe the golem dungeon run out of the bombs? But it was like what? 2? Maybe 3 months since the last attack?) – thought the adventurer as she started moving once again.

(So shouldn't they restocked and put up the traps again?)

(…)

(This is weird….And doesn't make sense…. Just wha-)

"!"

The female adventurer quickly hid in the shadows out of panic.

"…"

(There is something on the top of the trees.) – thought the female adventurer as her mana detection was picking up a reading right near her.

The female adventurer peek outside her cover and gazed at the direction of the tall.

As she gazed at it, she looked around…. And before long, she found the source of the unknown mana, noticing a weird slim small golem with long limbs and a giant eyelike structure for its entire head.

"…"

(What the hell is this thing?) – thought the female adventurer before then quickly hiding as the creature started turning its head and then gazing towards the girl's hiding spot.

"…"

"…"

After few moments of wait, the scout golem suddenly leaped from one tree to another, before then, which ended up giving the creature a location where it could get a proper look at the girl's hiding spot.

However, upon its arrival, it found nothing, which ended up causing the creature to instantly go past the tree, leaving the area.

"…"

(That thing…. Was it looking for me?) – thought alarmed girl.

(It build was much smaller and it blended in with forest much better… Was that thing some sort of type alarm familiar?)

(This is just bloody perfect…. Isn't it?)

(If I don't concentrate and use mana detection, I won't notice these things…. And although I say that.)

(I don't think I will be able to get much more from here.) – thought the girl as she noticed a large army of golems moving towards her direction.

(Shit. I guess the time is up.)

(Time to head back and regroup before these things rips us apart.)

(Maybe others at least found out something regarding these 'bombs'.)
