[Some time ago, right after the war between Royal and Noble faction started.]

"They are planning on taking over our mines?" – asked king.

"Yea..." – replied general with worried look.

"That bastard Ash must have already realized that his forces have nowhere near enough power to put up a fight against us."

"We also weakened them even more once our investigation has started….. That means he has no chance at winning this battle in the head on fight."

"So, the only way for him to win this would be to play dirty."

"Attack civilians and such would be the way to go….. He was already using dirty tactic before and I don't he will care if he kill even thousands of innocent people just to make some 'show'."

"Farms, mines and anything that provides either huge amount of income or supplies."

"If that is the case, then they will be definitely aiming for those."

"You are fucking with me." – said the nobleman on top of the wall as he was using a telescope.

(How the hell is there so many soldiers?!)

"HEY! THE FUCK IS GOING ON?! YOU TOLD US THAT THERE ARE NO TROOPS AS LARGE AS THIS THAT WERE BEING KEPT IN RESERVE!" – shouted the nobleman at the beastman soldier.

"B-because there weren't!" – replied the beastman who was working as a spy for the noble faction.

"There was nothing about having an army or a-anything! I swear!"

"Bullshit." – said beastman knight.

"There is no fucking way this people are just reinforcements."

"There is just way too many soldiers here. Even if they had used the remaining soldiers that had escaped us, there is no way they would have enough troops to create such large army!"

"What about you two, huh?!" – said the beastman as he turned towards the other two spies.

"No! We haven't heard anything about it either!" – replied the panicking spy.

"He is right! There was nothing like that in orders or commands given by Royal faction!" – said the second spy.

"They are not lying." – said the beast-human knight.

"IF THEY ARE NOT LYING, THEN WHY THE FUCK THEY DIDN'T KNOWN ABOUT THIS?!" – shouted pissed off nobleman.

"SIR! THE ENEMY FORCES ARE CLOSING IN!" – said panicking soldier.

"SHIT!" – shouted nobleman in panic.

"FIGHT! DON'T FUCKING LET THEM TAKE BACK THE CITY!"

The Noble faction who had managed to outsmart the Royal faction, managing to secure multiple critical hits against their opponents, would soon find out that their "flawless" plan predicted by both the king and the general.

With the possibility of being attacked in multiple critical location, the Royal faction has split some of their forces around the kingdom and have them stationary in case of the Noble faction's attack.

And as it turns out? It was the best decision they could make.

The taken over locations were quickly assaulted by the Royal faction, managing to not only repel or maybe even destroy the Noble faction forces, but also completely retake the lost locations.

With this outcome, the Royal faction was able to start recovering somewhat, while on the other hand the Noble faction was now the one taking multiple critical hits.

The odds that just became balanced had instantly once again changed to the Royal faction's favor.

And right now?

The Noble faction was now the one in trouble.
