[Location: The Bellimore Mansion, outside the dining hall!]
"Aleena, just listen to me, please!" Lucas Bellimore, the eldest brother of Alexandra, ran behind a blonde woman who was fuming with rage. Pausing, as she turned around, she took out the taser from her purse before pointing it in Lucas's direction.
"Lucas Bellimore. If you fucking take one more step towards me, I will zap your mouth shut and cut off your dick before you wake up," she threatened him. From her eyes, it was easy to see that she wasn't going to hesitate in doing what she just said. In fact, she was barely able to hold herself back right now.
"But baby-"
"That Tiara Fucking Reeve whore is your little baby. Go cry in that bitch's vagina, you fucking cunt," she spoke the worst she could.
Lucas took one more step towards Tiara, trying to console her, but..
-Zap!!!
Before he could even take a step, a taser was placed upon him, electrifying him for a few seconds before he fell unconscious.
"Cheating bastard," Aleena mumbled before moving away from there with a disgusted expression.
-Click! Thud!
As the door closed, a pair sitting on the dining table had just witnessed the whole exchange with an amused expression on their faces.
"Pass me the salt, Alex," the gray-haired boy, one of similar age to Alexandra, said as he was now happily ready to dine on the food.
Alexandra's father, Ramas Bellimore, had four children.
The First child and the eldest son, Lucas Bellmore.
The second child and eldest daughter, Mia Bellimore.
The third child, Gray Bellimore.
And the fourth child herself, Alexandra Bellimore.
While Lucas was losing his public image, almost destroyed, and Mia was managing business abroad, the only competitor left for Alexandra was her elder brother, Gray, who was currently dining beside her.
"Here," Alexandra passed the salt before chewing on the meat piece and then asking,
"Are you going to compete for the head position?"
"Obviously. It's not a chance I can let go, right?" Gray answered without hiding anything.
According to Gray, the only problem he had with taking the majority of his family business was his elder brother, Lucas. But now that he was falling so badly with a single incident where he lost his best friend, a major business partner, along with his wife, one of the major shareholders in his company, it would be a miracle if he could get back on his feet again.
As for Mia and Alexandra, Gray never considered them competition. For him, as long as Lucas was down, it was a given that the family would next turn to him. All he had to do was wait carefully without messing anything up.
"Don't worry, sister. Unlike our emotionless brother, I will take great care of you. Family is always first, you know?" He gave a joyful smile as he soon finished his light breakfast before standing up and slowly walking away from there.
Alexandra too smiled at him as he walked outside the room, before he opened the door and closed it.
-Thud!
"Fake bastard," Alexandra's smile vanished as an irritated look appeared on her face.
Lucas only cared about himself, so he never really bothered anyone else. But if this guy becomes the head, he would chew each and every member of the family without exception. If it favoured him, he might even sell some of us. Alexandra cursed under her breath before sighing and then thinking about how to deal with him.
She did have a few ideas regarding how to bring down Gray, but it won't be as easy as it was with Lucas.
Finding the evidence… As she began thinking, she couldn't help but recall Mikael's name once again in her mind. Though this time, she knew that he wouldn't be helping her out for free. At the very least, she would need to be sincere in her approach if she were to ask for his help.
Seems our next meeting is closer than I anticipated. She thought with a slight smile before opening up her phone and looking through her schedule to see if she could find some time to spare and visit him.
…
[Location: Zehell's Salon]
Mikael's mom, Lisa Aroa, walked into the Salon with a white envelope in her hands. Her eyes searched for her friend and boss, Zehell, who gave her a job in the salon even though she was having a hard time on her own.
"Lisa. You are early," Zehell, a woman in her early 40s, walked outside the store room with a cleaning mop in one hand and a broom in another.
Lisa closed the shop's room from the inside before taking a careful look, making sure that nobody had followed her from behind. Only once she did make sure that she was alone, she sighed in relief before turning towards Zehell and moving at a slightly faster pace.
"Lisa. What happened? Is everything all right?" Zehell asked, to which Lisa nodded before passing the white envelope towards her friend.
Though skeptical, Zehell took it before checking the contents inside.
"Lisa! This is?!!" Shocked to see a few 1000$ notes inside the pocket, Zehell was almost ready to give it back, but Lisa stopped her.
"You have done a lot for us. Yesterday, I discussed your situation with Mikael. Once he heard how your business was going bad because of the financial troubles you were going through, that kid immediately went to the ATM, and took out 10,000$ from his savings," Lisa said, making Zehell widen her eyes as she said,
"Lisa. I cannot take a child's savings-"
"He made 7000$ in 10 days, and that's not including the extra money he received from competition, and the three pending website requests, each with the potential to earn at least $500. That's what he told me. Said, what's the point of earning so much if you can't help the ones who helped us when we were at our lowest…" Lisa added, making Zehell widen her eyes for a moment.
"Mikael said that if you really care so much about this. Just get him a free haircut every now and then," Lisa added, a bit proud of her son, once again.
"Lisa…" Zehell looked at her friend, her eyes filled with tears, as she slowly accepted the money. Thanking her, she nodded before hugging Lisa tightly.
It wasn't much, but it was still a huge burden off her chest now.
