MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary TimeKeeper

Chapter 128: Burying all the Zombies

[You have prayed for the deceased!]

[You have prayed for the deceased!]

[You have prayed for the deceased!]

[You have prayed for the deceased!]

[You have prayed for the deceased!]

It went on and on.

I was glad that it didn't cost any MP. It made everything a bit faster, and we were able to finish everything one at a time.

Indeed, it took a bit of work to find the correct zombie and their graves, but once we divided the work among us, it became a pretty fun job too. A bit tedious, honestly, but still fun.

Raven and G kited the zombies, Trisha and Blaze matched the zombies with their tombstones, and then Link helped in burying them. Lastly, I prayed to make sure that they received their eternal rest.

Honestly, it was this quest that made me believe that this whole raid wasn't something that a single person could have done. It required at least 12, or if possible, many more players to complete it.

Without them, I might have been here for at least a month before I could even end this Raid. I was a little thankful to them.

Looking at the night sky above us, I smiled. The two moons in the center of the starry sky signified that it was almost midnight now.

All the zombies were buried, and the entire grave looked more peaceful than before. The heavy atmosphere was somehow replaced with a calm gaze, making me wonder if we were really in a grave.

"It's refreshing," Raven said with a satisfied smile on her face, while Blaze and Link were chatting with the Stream, answering any questions they had.

G and Trisha were eating out some steamed buns they carried from the Inara village, and when I looked at them, Trisha asked if I wanted some, to which I simply shook my head before turning back to Raven.

"We should take a break. It's almost 72 hours now."

It wouldn't have been possible if we were still fighting with the zombies, but since we were done with them, and this place was practically a safe zone, we could take a break before moving to the next task.

Even if I didn't really want to take a break, it was something that we had to do anyway. Otherwise, the system would kick us out.

We still have 4 hours, but I don't think we can finish the next few parts within that time limit. I reassessed before concluding once again that it was fine to rest.

"All right, everyone, set up a camp. We will meet again after a full day break in real life," I commanded, to which everyone nodded. Perhaps they, too, were expecting something like that, so they simply stood up and began setting up the camp.

20 minutes after we were done, the rest of the party waved their goodbyes before sleeping in their camp as they logged off.

"TristanBear," I called Trisha out, stopping her at last when even G had logged out.

"Will you appear in public with your real identity?" I asked with a curious look.

"Not really. It's not something I can easily disclose," she answered honestly before looking at me and asking,

"Will you?"

"Not yet. I have people to take care of, so I won't right now. Though I might once I have settled things down. Anyway, you should go now. G might get worried," I answered as she narrowed her eyes at me for a few seconds, trying to see through my intentions.

"I was going to ask Blaze for a charity event from the money that I have earned. Though if it were possible, I wanted to add as many members of the party there as possible," I explained my reasoning, to which her eyes calmed down. She gave a slight nod before saying,

"I wish I could. Though things will get complicated because of my background."

It was fine, I guess. I kind of expected it.

"But I can match the amount that you will be spending on the charity. In the name of TristanBear, haha!" She chuckled before waving goodbye and then leaving from there, as she mentioned,

"Just tell me when you are planning to do the charity, okay? Bye Ezekiel. See you later."

She then logged off, while I nodded with a calm look on my face.

I suppose I can collect about $150,000 if I do it right. That should be enough to help Evan Castro out. I pondered with a smile on my face, wondering if I should check out that Orphanage.

I gave it a few seconds of thought, but in the end, I decided not to. Doing that would take the whole day out of my schedule.

Getting into the camp, I went to log off as well.

[Logging off!]

Real Life Time: 8:00 AM

Removing my helmet, I then placed it on the charger before getting out of my bed. A pungent smell surrounded my body as I had sweated heavily during the 24-hour continuous session, and now my entire body was both sore and smelling bad.

Did Mom clean my room? I pondered taking a look at the neatly set table and chair, which should have had at least traces of dust. Even the ground looked clean as if it had been done a few hours ago.

Well, not caring much, I moved out of the room and into the bathroom, carrying a new pair of clothes. I had to wash my entire body properly and then my hair before I let myself sink into the hot water bath within the bathtub.

It was a cheap one-person bathtub that Mom bought for me two years ago in this timeline. Honestly, one of the best investments made. It relaxed the entire body after a whole day of work.

Once done with the bath, I took another shower to clean myself again. Then I drained the bathwater before cleaning it for reuse.

From the time I got out of my bed, the whole process took two hours, after which I was finally relaxed enough to go out and have some exercise.

"Mom! I cleaned the bathroom!" I shouted, both to explain what I was doing and also because I hadn't heard Mom's voice at all since I had woken up.

It made me a bit worried.

"She left for work early. Asked your elder sister, me, to cook for you," and with a bright smile on my face, she stood there making today's breakfast for me.

And all I could question was what she was doing here…

"Alexandra?"
