She then slowly began to move her hand, gently caressing the back of his head while her other hand was tightly holding him by his waist, afraid of letting him go.

It was just a single word, but Yang Ze's tense body relaxed as he stopped fighting and quietly closed his eyes. He desperately needed some rest, but was unable to sleep due to what he had just seen. Now that Cang Yue was holding him in her embrace while gently massaging his head, his mood eased as he closed his eyes once again.
