HELP! These Girls Wants To Kill Me

Chapter 174: 174

Xiao Ruolan merely looked at the scene in front of her with a blank face. This wasn't something new. Initially, Lin Yue was just using her words to insult Cang Yue, but over time, she managed to come up with more things.

Looking at Lin Yue, whose eyes were covered in a layer of red veins, completely covering her sight, and was still sitting behind Cang Yue with a twisted expression, Xiao Ruolan couldn't help but let out a soft smirk.

"Enjoying it yet?" Her words were directed at Cang Yue.

"...." Cang Yue didn't reply. She didn't even look at Xiao Ruolan, but anyone who knew her would have understood that this was her suppressing her rage.

"Who would have thought that I would see the scene of a sister torturing her own sister?"

Xiao Ruolan spoke without any reserve, completely ignoring the fact that Lin Yue was still in the room.

Cang Yue's body trembled in response as she finally lifted her pale and haggard face to look at Xiao Ruolan in front of her. The usual cold and emotionless Xiao Ruolan had a slight smile on the corner of her lips.

"Oh, don't worry about her." Speaking till here, Xiao Ruolan walked behind Lin Yue before gently patting her cheek, who seemed completely oblivious to it all.

"To think that one sister would practise twin heart technique and the other would have Crimson heart…"

"Heh! Fate is a funny thing, isn't it?" Gently stroking Lin Yue's face, whose eyes were completely covered in a thick layer of red vessels, Xiao Ruolan simply raised her hand and, without any hesitation, hit Lin Yue on the back of her neck, knocking her out cold.

Catching her body mid-fall, she then picked her up and carried her to the corner of her room before placing her on the bed and then once again walked in front of Cang Yue before pulling a chair and sitting comfortably.

"What do you think?" With this, she simply snapped her fingers and with it, Cang Yue finally felt the restriction in her throat removed. She could finally speak, but she didn't shout or curse. Her eyes were still stuck on Xiao Ruolan, as if wanting to carve her appearance into her soul.

"Funny, isn't it?" Xiao Ruolan didn't seem to mind Cang Yue's silence.

"Out of three sisters, one is already dead… one is about to die and the last one…" With a smile that wasn't quite a smile, Xiao Ruolan glanced once towards the sleeping Lin Yue before focusing back on Cang Yue.

"Why…" This time, Cang Yue's hoarse voice finally echoed in the room. "Why are you doing this?"

This was what Cang Yue couldn't understand. From Xiao Ruolan's words, it was clear that she wasn't the one behind all those schemes and had no intention of killing her or Lin Yue. Since that was the case, why was she even doing all this? Prisoning her here in this room, telling her the cruel truth about her mother and that Lin Yue was, in fact, her blood sister. And finally making her own sister torture and humiliate her this way. The more Cang Yue thought about it, the less sense it all made. She just couldn't understand the purpose of Xiao Ruolan's actions.

"....." Xiao Ruolan glanced at Cang Yue for a long time before letting out a sigh.

"How pitiful." Her voice contained a hint of pity as she let out a mouthful of turbid air.

"But see… the thing is that I am not the one doing anything."

She glanced at Cang Yue's tied-up limbs and the kneeling position she was forced to adapt before adding further, "I am merely letting it play out as it is supposed to go."

She paused for a moment before shrugging and adding another sentence, "Okay! Maybe I am the one doing it, but trust me when I say that the other outcome is way too much gruesome and bloody to my liking."

"..."

"..."

"Didn't understand it, did you?" Xiao Ruolan merely let out a defeated sigh upon seeing Cang Yue's silence.

"Fine… I have already told you so much, then might as well tell you this too."

Taking a deep breath, Xiao Ruolan began to speak in a soft voice.

"See, the thing is that the fate of you three sisters has already been sealed a long, long time ago."

"Lin Wan died exactly the way she was meant to."

"You and Lin Yue, on the other hand…" With a smile that wasn't quite the smile, Xiao Ruolan let out a soft chuckle.

"The two of you were meant to have a bloody fate."

"You were supposed to be trapped in the Sword Trial when you first entered there."

"But by luck or any other reason, you managed to come out."

"Well, not that I am complaining, after all, it only made my job easier."

Muttering to herself, Xiao Ruolan once again began to speak to Cang Yue, who was quietly gazing at her while holding her breath.

"Let's say you…"

"You were supposed to stay in the Sword Trial for an entire month… Stuck there… struggling and then ultimately accepting your fate."

"Your sister, Lin Yue, on the other hand…"

"Tch.. tch.. Tch…" Clicking her tongue in pity, Xiao Ruolan turned her gaze towards the figure of Lin Yue, who was lying unconscious on the bed.

"Well, she was supposed to get the Crimson Heart while out on the mission."

"Once she got it, she was supposed to massacre every person in her path till she stepped at the peak of Vein Expansion."

"And then… she would receive the blood inheritance from that woman."

Speaking till here, Xiao Ruolan went silent for a moment, letting Cang Yue understand the meaning behind her words. It wasn't until a few more moments passed that she spoke further.

"And once she stepped into the Core Formation realm, she was supposed to uncover the truth of her life and find out that Lin Wan and you were actually her blood sister."

"And this…" Xiao Ruolan's voice turned a pitch higher as she spoke. "This is where she was supposed to completely integrate with the Crimson Heart."

Cang Yue's eyes narrowed into slits as her breathing almost stopped for a moment. She didn't even dare to imagine that the fate of the three sisters was sealed even before their birth.

Now that she thought about it, there were a lot of things that seemed random at first, but now that she was connecting the dots, she was finally managing to see things that she wouldn't even have imagined.

"Then the kidnapping of Lin Wan…" Her voice carried a hint of uncertainty as she uttered those words.

"BINGO." Xiao Ruolan immediately clapped her hands with a smile as she nodded towards Cang Yue.

"Congratulations, you guessed correctly."

"And your prize is the truth that you might have missed."

With a suppressed laugh, Xiao Ruolan tilted her head before continuing further.

"The kidnapping of Lin Wan was exactly the stone that triggered the avalanche."

"She wasn't just kidnapped for the sake of being sacrificed… She was kidnapped for Lin Yue to take the bait."

"You see… though living as the young lady of one of the most prominent families of the Yuyang City might come with its own set of benefits, it also has its own drawbacks."

"She already had the personality but never the heart."

Seeing Cang Yue's confusion, Xiao Ruolan let out a mouthful of turbid air as she began to explain to her.

"Think of her as a clay pot. Freshly crafted with all the right ingredients, but still unfinished."

"The events after Lin Wan's kidnapping were the flame that finally completed her… crafted her.. Gave her a purpose."

"But why do all this?" This time, Cang Yue couldn't hold it any longer. She just couldn't understand what was the need to go through all of this?

"CRIMSON HEART." Xiao Ruolan's flat voice sounded in her ears.

"The Crimson Heart is an item that could give unimaginable benefits to its user, but it comes with an extreme downside… It would twist the very person who owns it."

"Magnifying the darkest desires in their heart as well as the things they might have been ashamed of."

"Of course, every person has different desires, and Lin Yue's was torture, for now that is."

Speaking till here, she glanced at Cang Yue in front of her with a smile.

"Let's just say that for the third sister to be useful, she needed to be completely integrated with the Crimson Heart."

"And it is only possible when Lin Yue accepts her true self… or what she wants to do the most."

"Normally, after your death, it would have been killing people left and right till she fused with the Crimson Heart completely."

"But well, let's just say that I found a much humane and easy way."

Speaking till here, Xiao Ruolan smiled before bringing her face close to Cang Yue's and whispering softly in her ears.

"For the current her, the deepest desire in her heart is to humiliate and torture you in the same way as you did to her."

"Every pain… every humiliation that you once inflicted upon her… She is only returning it to you."

Cang Yue's breathing hastened as she closed her eyes, not even wanting to look at the woman in front of her.

"And thanks to you, she has managed to complete it effortlessly in the past week."

"Now, she has already begun to truly merge with the Crimson Heart. And in the upcoming days, this process will be finished."

"Why…" Cang Yue looked at Xiao Ruolan with a gaze full of hate and anger as she uttered those words while gritting her teeth. "Why her?"

"....."

"....."

"Did you seriously not listen to anything that I have told you before? Or did these past few days have made you already forget this?"

"Didn't you hear the first time I said it?"

"The three of you who have been created under special circumstances… Only in that way, she is able to merge with the Crimson Heart safely, otherwise she would have turned into the monster that you saw on the cliff."

Cang Yue gritted her teeth in anger as her gaze towards Xiao Ruolan was filled with murderous intention. If not for the fact that the other party was unfathomably strong and she couldn't move, she would have rushed to tear her apart.

Even now, she wanted to crawl to her and tear her throat with her own teeth, but alas! She couldn't even move her body.

"And you…" Cang Yue asked in a hoarse voice. "What is your role in all of this?"

This was what she wanted to know the most. Since the other party was already aware of so many things and secrets and even took steps to interfere in it to hasten the process, she wanted to know what exactly she was gaining from all this.

"Me?" Xiao Ruolan pointed towards herself as she burst out in a peal of laughter.

It wasn't until a few minutes passed that she stopped laughing before wiping the corner of her eyes.

Cang Yue gazed deeply at the usual emotionless and cold-faced woman who never showed any expression on her face as Xiao Ruolan spoke slowly.

"I am a mere observer." She simply chuckled while shaking her head.

"Normally, I wouldn't have interfered with you or these useless events, but…" Speaking till here, her eyes turned cold.

"You should have kept your hands to yourself."

"????" Cang Yue had a face full of question marks as she tilted her head in confusion. What was this bitch even talking about?

Xiao Ruolan merely let out a cold snort before gently patting Cang Yue's face as she whispered in her ear once again.

"Yang Ze…"

Xiao Ruolan's chilling voice was enough to freeze Cang Yue's blood as she spoke further.

"You should have never stepped near him."

"You should have never even gotten involved with him."

"And you should have never even gotten intimate with him."

"YOU STUPID WHORE."
