Supreme Man

Chapter 551: Visiting Admiral Mude (Fifth Update)

"Hmm! We must visit the local leader; otherwise, it's hard to explain if things get too loud later!"

Then Ye Hao, accompanied by three others, went down to the hall to continue drinking with everyone. However, Ran Tai discreetly instructed his subordinate Liu to visit Mude Manor to inform Mude that Ye Hao intended to pay a visit and to inquire if General Mude had time.

To ensure Mude took Ye Hao seriously, Ran Tai decided to invest and gave Liu one million rupees as a gift for Mude.

Though Ye Hao did not ask him to hand money to Mude, Ran Tai didn't want anyone showing a bad attitude toward Ye Hao. It's like buying Mude's good graces with money because it wouldn't be what Ran Tai wanted if Mude treated Ye Hao with hostility.

On Ye Hao's second day in Karachi, the weather was sunny, 25°C, and pleasant.

Ye Hao got up early, and the first thing he did was have Flying Fish deliver food to Submarine No.2 for Yang Ya and others.

Having washed up, Ye Hao went down to the hall.

The hall was already brightly lit. In Pakistan, there's a custom: many people eat in the morning, fewer at noon, and many more in the evening.

The reason for this was that in the past, Pakistan was often at war, and soldiers typically ate in the morning before heading out to defend the territory. If they were lucky, they would return for dinner in the evening.

Over time, families waiting for their sons, brothers, or fathers would eat in the morning and then wait until evening when their loved ones returned to eat that meal.

This gradually evolved into a Pakistani custom.

After Ye Hao came down, Ran Tai and others came forward to greet him.

"Good morning, boss!"

"Morning everyone. Tai, how's the task I gave you?" Ye Hao asked Ran Tai.

"General Mude agreed. He said he'd meet us at the Mude Garden golf course," Ran Tai smiled.

"So he agreed that quickly? Well, Elder Zheng and Qin Qing, you have some food first. Tai, you'll drive us there later," Ye Hao was surprised at General Mude's prompt agreement.

Yet even if Ye Hao knew that Ran Tai had given Mude money, he wouldn't say anything because, in this world, everything revolves around interest. Without benefits, others wouldn't care as much about anything.

"Boss, we want to go too..." Xue Zhaolong and the others asked Ye Hao.

"You guys shouldn't come. Let the Duke of Thunder take you elsewhere to have some fun and see if there's anything special," Ye Hao subtly signaled to Xue Zhaolong and the others, who could only nod reluctantly.

Though they were eager to follow Ye Hao to visit General Mude, Ye Hao had assigned them new tasks, so they could only proceed to explore other places as directed.

After Qin Qing and Zheng Guang finished breakfast, Ye Hao directly got into an X6 BMW, with Ran Tai as the driver.

The group headed towards the sea along Muhammad Ali Jinnah's main boulevard.

Mude Garden golf course is part of General Mude's manor, encompassing about three kilometers, and it offers a full range of facilities. It is a major Pakistani tourist attraction. Although called Mude Garden, it is open to the public.

The hotel inside is even grander than luxury hotels, though it typically serves wild animals. In Huaxia, such wild animal consumption could land you in jail.

However, in Pakistan, it's allowed because these animals are captured from the Primordial Forest, not from the nation's protected reserves.

Ye Hao and his group drove for two hours from Karachi's Queen's Market before arriving at Mude Manor.

Inside the manor, in a leisure club that wasn't open to the public today, Mude was preparing to receive guests.

The guest was Ye Hao. Though a million rupees is only a little over 60,000 RMB in Huaxia, it's very valuable in Pakistan.

After getting out of the car, Ye Hao adjusted his collar; today, he was dressed in his most formal attire yet, with a shirt and suit. Although he didn't wear a tie, given his physique and handsome face, a tie was inconsequential.

Zheng Guang followed behind Ye Hao with the demeanor of a steward, while Qin Qing resembled a bodyguard, and Ran Tai naturally appeared as the driver.

Ran Tai led Ye Hao directly toward the club where they had arranged to meet General Mude.

In the leisure club, Mude sipped fine wine... which, in Huaxia, was ordinary red wine...

"Tsk tsk!" Mude savored it with delight as he drank.

Beside him, a formidable-looking adjutant asked, "General, which important guest are you meeting today?"

"I don't know, but they seem to have significant influence," Mude replied. He was a man in his sixties with a face full of stubble, but his eyes occasionally flashed with a gaze suggesting that despite his age, he wasn't easily fooled.

"What kind of reception will you give?" asked the adjutant.

"Let's just meet like this. If I'm satisfied, we'll see from there," Mude tapped his fingers lightly on the wooden table, feeling quite at ease.

"Yes, General," the adjutant replied, stepping aside.

After waiting a few more minutes, one of Mude's men came to report.

"General, a few guests are here to see you, but..."

"Let them in!" Mude said after sipping his wine.

"Yes, General." The reporting soldier hurried out to bring Ye Hao and his companions in upon hearing Mude's words.

Ye Hao entered confidently, walking with a spring in his step. Zheng Guang and Qin Qing maintained calm demeanors, revealing nothing of their innate skills.

Ran Tai followed behind.

Once inside, Ye Hao glanced around the leisure club and saw, to the left, an elderly man in his sixties holding a cigar, blowing ring after ring of smoke...

Ye Hao smiled as he approached.

When Ye Hao got within ten meters of Mude, the adjutant beside Mude asked, "May I ask your business with the General?"

"Hehe, I've long admired the great reputation of General Mude, known throughout Pakistan, so I came to visit today," Ye Hao said eloquently in English, adopting an elegant British gesture.

"Mr., you flatter me. What have I done to deserve this? Please..." Mude was surprised to see Ye Hao's fluent and lively manner.

Thinking this young man was no ordinary person, as his clear and concise speech encompassed multiple meanings, Mude invited Ye Hao to sit down.

Ye Hao chuckled as he stepped onto the red carpet and sat beside Mude.

The adjutant was about to speak but was stopped by Mude waving his hand.

Mude scrutinized Ye Hao, unsure why Ye Hao had come, but he wouldn't refuse the money delivered to him. (To be continued. If you like this work, you're welcome to vote for it on Qidian (qidian.com). Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please read on m.qidian.com.)
