Lin Tong's voice echoed in Luo Xiu's mind. "Big Brother, I can feel the aura of the Eye of the Reaper. It must be inside the sarcophagus!"

Hearing this, Luo Xiu slowly approached. After observing the sarcophagus for a moment, he, Chi Sha, and Dou Dou joined forces, using brute force to pry open the outer lid and reveal the ancient coffin within.

The ancient coffin was a lustrous black, clearly crafted from a single, massive piece of Black Jade.

Luo Xiu was no tomb raider, so he didn't bother with convoluted protocols. He simply used brute force to shove the lid of the Black Jade Ancient Coffin aside.

Dou Dou's face went pale. She quickly covered her nose and hid behind Chi Sha.

Luo Xiu asked curiously, "What idea?"

Lin Tong hesitated for a moment before saying, "To place the Eye of the Reaper into your left eye socket. Since you're missing an eye, this could serve as a replacement."

Luo Xiu was astonished. "Is that reliable? This is just a gemstone, not a real eyeball."

Lin Tong slowly explained, "The power of the Eye of the Reaper is immense. Only a staff forged from Soul Gathering Iron can serve as a vessel to withstand its energy. However, your body... I believe it is tough enough to bear the power of the Eye of the Reaper.

"In short, you would replace the Spirit-Communicating Staff and become the vessel for the Eye of the Reaper's energy. In other words, you yourself would become the staff.
