"Chen Shuisheng, I admit I wanted to use you against these traitors, but I never intended to just stand by and watch," she said. "The last two times... I was simply injured. I wanted to help, but I didn't have the strength."

Luo Xiu glanced back at her, smiling, but said nothing.

A short while later, Luo Xiu stopped, his gaze falling upon Hua Muyan, inspecting her meticulously.

Hua Muyan's body seemed weightless as she floated delicately in the air, seated upon a massive flower. With her long, slender legs crossed, her allure was at its peak, yet tinged with a hint of elegance. She was the queen of flowers, and the great bloom was her throne.

She was completely nude, save for a few long, pink petals entwined around her enchanting figure like close-fitting garments, concealing only her most private areas. Her porcelain-white skin was further adorned with colorful, luminous patterns.

After admiring the sight for a moment, Luo Xiu remarked with a smile, "Truly a magnificent work of art."

Hua Muyan's seductive eyes glistened as she examined Luo Xiu in return. "Little brother," she purred with a smile, "the more beautiful the woman, the more dangerous she is."

As her words faded, Luo Xiu felt a faint, warm, fragrant breeze caress his neck. The ticklish sensation immediately made his resolve waver, and he struggled to maintain his composure.

As if by teleportation, Hua Muyan appeared behind him, her slender, pale hands wrapping around his neck. Her fiery, tempting body coiled around Luo Xiu like a weightless wisp of smoke, like a delicate Flower Vine, or more accurately, like a lethal, beautiful serpent.

Hua Muyan rested her head on Luo Xiu's shoulder, her bewitching face slowly moving in front of his. Her purple lips, like two shimmering petals, parted gently, exhaling a faint, enchanting fragrance.

Xia Chan's face darkened. "As my father's servant, you're hardly one to talk about good behavior," she retorted. "If I'm not mistaken, you're staying not only because your roots are here, but also because you're waiting for a chance to strike at my father—to absorb him in his moment of weakness."

"Oh my, aren't you the clever one, Miss."

At this, Luo Xiu sighed softly and said to Xia Chan, "You're right. Dealing with this Flower Demon won't be easy. You should stand back. I'll end this quickly."
