After Ye Tianfan dealt with the remaining Demon Wolf Beast, he sat down to rest.
However, Ye Tianfan didn't retrieve the Mysterious Yellow Tower, continuing to maintain it.
The reason Ye Tianfan was resting was partially because his Spiritual Power wasn't abundant, and the temporary Spiritual Power was also dissipating; once it was gone, there wouldn't be much left. Secondly, many of the distressed people had been knocked unconscious by the huge rumbling sound just now.
While waiting for them to wake up, Ye Tianfan took the opportunity to rest and restore some Spiritual Power.
Before long, the people began to wake up. Although they couldn't hear anything and were very weak, they struggled to stand, eyes fixed on Ye Tianfan, afraid he might abandon them.
"Since everyone is awake, let's get going!" Ye Tianfan said, standing up after noticing everyone had woken, but immediately chuckled awkwardly, realizing they couldn't hear him.
So Ye Tianfan pointed in a direction with his hand, then led the way, and the crowd hurried to follow, understanding what he meant.
The direction Ye Tianfan pointed and walked was where Old Ma was located. Ye Tianfan planned to reunite with Old Ma first, then lead the group out of the Ancient Wilderness before returning himself.
Even though these were residents of the Ancient Wilderness, Ye Tianfan didn't have time to escort each one back. Besides, there's a relay station outside the Ancient Wilderness where they could find people to escort these victims home, and they could pay when they arrived safely.
Ye Tianfan walked ahead while the distressed people followed, though the sun was scorching hot, under the protection of the Mysterious Yellow Tower, they didn't feel too hot, just a bit sunburned.
After walking for a long time, Ye Tianfan finally saw the place where he had parted ways with Old Ma, and seeing it, he let out a sigh of relief. They had finally arrived. The stones here were larger, so Ye Tianfan could cut out a big stone slab for everyone to stand on, and then he would fly ahead dragging the stone slab, making it much faster. Otherwise, Ye Tianfan might spend the entire day here, and even then, not necessarily get out of the Ancient Wilderness.
After all, these people needed rest; they hadn't eaten much, and some were hungry for days. Ye Tianfan hadn't given them much food, just some dry rations and water along the way to tide them over.
Moreover, spending an entire day walking wouldn't be sustainable except for the physically strong, especially with the sandy terrain which wasn't flat, causing slips and falls, so it was doubtful they could make it out in one day.
Upon reaching the place where he parted with Old Ma, Ye Tianfan sped up, causing the people behind to suffer silently, but they dared not complain, fearing Ye Tianfan would abandon them.
After a while of quickened pace, Ye Tianfan noticed the people lagging behind. He embarrassingly stated, "There's a lot of stones ahead which provide ample shade. Moreover, it's where I parted with Grandpa Ma, Miss Ma's grandfather. If we hurry there, I can make a tool that will speed up our journey."
Following his words, Ye Tianfan slowed down slightly, still fast but within the group's acceptable limits.
Soon, Ye Tianfan arrived at the separation spot with Old Ma, and before he even started searching, a joyful shout came from behind a large stone.
"Granddaughter, my granddaughter, it's so good that you're safe."
Old Ma had been anxiously waiting behind a large stone, initially often looking around for his granddaughter's arrival, though she never showed up. Heat exhaustion led him to cease wandering and impatiently wait in the shade behind the stone.
Upon hearing a commotion, Old Ma peeked out and saw Ye Tianfan leading a large group of people.
Carefully scanning the crowd, Old Ma spotted his granddaughter and rushed out of his hiding place, running toward her, calling out as he ran.
Watching their reunion, Ye Tianfan smiled and said to everyone, "Take a rest here while I make a tool to speed up our journey."
Ye Tianfan then turned to find a boulder big enough for everyone.
The crowd, hearing Ye Tianfan, sat down with a thud, utterly exhausted, only to spring back up as the sand burned their behinds.
They each found a shaded spot and sat down, vigilantly watching in case they fell asleep and woke to find Ye Tianfan had left.
Ye Tianfan searched the area for a suitable large stone and finally found one after a good while.
He summoned his Leisure Sword and, with a few slashes, cut a platform for standing.
Ye Tianfan then lifted the platform and flew back to where they had previously stopped.
After reaching the previous location, he placed the platform down.
Once set down, the crowd gathered around but dared not step on it without Ye Tianfan's instruction.
Ye Tianfan poked a hole in the platform and told them, "Bind this platform together; I'll pull it with a rope. Use these holes for threading the rope."
Upon hearing this, they hastily worked together, improvising with clothing in place of rope, the men stripping off shirts, baring their shoulders, then tying everything together on the platform.
Soon, they had secured the platform, and Ye Tianfan instructed everyone to climb on, hold on tight, then pulled the platform up, flying out of the Ancient Wilderness.
Though it required some effort from Ye Tianfan, the speed was far faster than walking, and he moderated it to prevent anyone from being blown off.
Ye Tianfan flew forward, eyes on the path, Divine Sense covering the platform behind, worried someone might fall off.
In less than two hours, Ye Tianfan took them out of the boundary of the Ancient Wilderness and even spotted a relay station.
