However, what happened next was beyond Ye Tianfan's expectations, yet it was within reason.

Ye Tianfan saw that the Fire Swords exposed to the Evil Qi were corroding at a speed visible to the naked eye.

If this continued, within two minutes, the demon would be able to break free from these Fire Swords.

Seeing this, Ye Tianfan quickly added a few more Fire Swords and then hurriedly began investigating the room.

Every two minutes, Ye Tianfan would add some more Fire Swords to the demon.

Ye Tianfan searched the room carefully but still found nothing, though he didn't expect immediate results, so he decided to head to the third room.

But first, it was better to lure the demon into this room.

Ye Tianfan opened the door and found a small stone in the room, then flicked it towards the demon.

The stone hit the demon, who quickly reacted, turned around, saw Ye Tianfan, and rushed over without a word.

As the demon charged, Ye Tianfan sidestepped quickly, and while the demon had not turned around yet, he darted out of the room and swiftly turned to close the door.

After that, Ye Tianfan listened for any noise inside, heard nothing, and continued toward the third room.

Once again, the third room contained demons, two of them, a pair of demon couples, yet Ye Tianfan still didn't find any clues inside.

After leaving the third room, Ye Tianfan checked his remaining Spiritual Power, finding less than half left and dropping rapidly.

Ye Tianfan calculated how much longer he could hold out; it had gone from sustaining through the afternoon to barely making it past noon, and that was just resisting the Evil Qi. If more demons were encountered in further rooms, he'd manage only two more before his Spiritual Power fell below a safe level.

If he didn't leave after dropping below a safe level, Ye Tianfan might as well turn into a demon right there.

In fact, others had already started going back.

Just now, Ye Tianfan saw several people flying beyond Copper Gong Town on Flying Magical Treasures.

Against demons, they may match, but demons inevitably suffer more in such encounters.

Though actually, it is the cultivators who bear the brunt, as demons are nearly unbeatable here.

Ye Tianfan started towards the fourth room, but then saw a signal flare shot nearby, a blue one.

A blue flare meant minor trouble, not major, yet Ye Tianfan flew over on his Flying Sword since it was close.

Ye Tianfan had just reached the signal flare's area when he saw the person who launched it, now pursued by three demons, running in all directions. When he saw Ye Tianfan approach, he called out, "Hey, senior brother, save me quickly! I didn't expect three demons to appear at once in that place and although individually they aren't stronger than me, together they're much stronger, and it's just tears to talk about!"

Seeing this, Ye Tianfan immediately unleashed the previously released Fire Swords, controlling them to pierce fiercely into the three demons.

The demons' bodies, with great momentum, were blasted several steps back and then pinned to the ground by the Fire Swords piercing through them.

This left the demons unable to move for a bit, but from Ye Tianfan's estimates and what he could see, they would break free in less than a minute.

Knowing this, Ye Tianfan smiled at the person who sent the signal flare and then said.
