Another tried to jump Leon from behind. Leon tilted his head slightly as if he could feel the wind move wrong. He threw his elbow back without looking. The elbow smashed into the attacker's jaw. Teeth clicked together. The boy dropped like a broken toy.
Daniel's side looked almost graceful.
One of the sidekicks charged at him with a wild scream. Daniel moved one foot sideways, his body turning like he was stepping into a dance. His leg whipped up, heel crashing into the side of the guy's head in a clean roundhouse kick. The guy spun mid-air and crashed onto the ground.
Another came low for Daniel's legs. Daniel hopped just enough to avoid the grab, knee dropping down onto the attacker's shoulder as he landed, forcing the guy facefirst into the ground.
Their movements were very different.
Leon fought like a raging wave — heavy, aggressive, wild, pushing forward.Daniel fought like a controlled blade — sharp, clean, using kicks with frightening precision.
But they matched.
One sidekick tried to help Jason by charging at Leon's side. Daniel's leg snapped out sideways, stopping the attempt before Leon even had to turn.
Another sidekick tried to gang up on Daniel from behind, only for Leon to step in and punch him straight in the jaw.
They weren't just fighting well. They were fighting in coordination.
It almost looked like they'd trained together a lot, even though they really hadn't.
Leon smirked between hits. "You fight nicely, Daniel."
Daniel dodged a punch, spun, and kicked the attacker's thigh. "You also fight in nice coordination, Leon."
They both sounded too calm for people surrounded by enemies.
Bodies started littering the ground again.
Sidekick after sidekick fell.None of them could last long under the combined pressure of Leon's raw strength and Daniel's precise kicks.
Some got in hits, but nothing clean, nothing that changed the flow. A punch glanced off Leon's shoulder. A kick scraped along Daniel's side. They rolled with it and hit back ten times harder.
Soon, the shouting died down.
The alley became full of groans and heavy breathing instead.
The only ones standing properly now were Leon, Daniel… and the two main pieces:
Carl.Jason.
Carl's jaw was tight, eyes narrowed thinly. He looked at the bodies around him, then at Leon, respect and rage mixing in his gaze.
Jason cracked his neck, his high expression now mixed with frustration.
Leon and Daniel stepped back a bit, almost like they were giving the two leaders a chance.
Daniel exhaled once, then said, "Wanna switch?"
Leon rolled his shoulders. "Yeah."
They stepped sideways, passing each other like two players changing position on a court.
Now Leon stood in front of Jason.Daniel stood in front of Carl.
Jason clicked his tongue. "You think switching will change anything?"
Leon smirked. "Yeah. It'll make this more fun."
Jason rushed forward with a fast hook. He wasn't just throwing wild hits anymore. His punch had clean form, sharp power. Leon blocked it with a raised guard, feeling the strength behind it.
But strength wasn't enough.
Leon countered with a straight punch to Jason's face, then followed up with a low kick to his calf. Jason stumbled slightly. Leon didn't let him recover. His fists came in combination — body, head, body, head — like a combo he'd drilled a thousand times.
Jason tried to fight back with his own punches, but Leon's speed and timing overwhelmed him.
Daniel's side was different.
Carl lifted his hands in a proper stance, body guarded, feet placed well. He didn't rush. This wasn't some one-sided beating.
Daniel smiled wider.
They closed the distance slowly, like professionals.
Carl attacked first — a quick jab to test distance. Daniel slipped to the side. Carl followed with a straight punch toward Daniel's chest. Daniel twisted his upper body, letting the fist graze his hoodie. Then Daniel's foot struck — low, targeting Carl's leg.
Carl winced but didn't fall. He countered with a kick of his own. Daniel blocked with his shin, the impact echoing with a dull thud in the alley. For a few exchanges, they moved fast — punch, dodge, kick, block, step in, step out.
It was clean.Sharp.Two talented fighters testing each other.
Then, as if bored of the stalemate, Daniel suddenly changed his rhythm.
He feinted high — made it look like a head kick — and at the last moment, his foot dropped low, smashing into Carl's side. Carl gasped, his guard opening for a split second.
Daniel stepped in.
His knee slammed into Carl's stomach.Carl's body folded slightly forward.Daniel's elbow followed, crashing down into his back.
Carl stumbled to the ground, one knee hitting the pavement.
At almost the same time, Leon landed a heavy uppercut on Jason's chin.
Jason's body jerked back, his legs struggling to keep balance. Leon stepped forward and punched him straight in the nose. Jason fell back, crashed onto his ass, and slid a little on the dirty ground.
Both leaders — Carl and Jason — were now down, breathing hard, faces twisted in pain and anger.
Blood dripped from Jason's nose and the corner of his mouth.Carl's lip was split, a line of red trailing down his chin. Their cheeks darkened with bruises, and their breathing came in heavy, unsteady bursts.
Leon walked over slowly, looking down at Jason like he was just another piece of trash on the road.
"So," Leon said, voice calm, "still gonna beat the shit out of us?"
Jason glared up, tried to speak, but his words came out mixed with blood and air.
Daniel stood over Carl with that same bright smile, though his eyes were sharp."Business done," he said simply.
Carl tried to get up, but his arms shook. His legs didn't fully listen.
Leon and Daniel shared a look, not needing words.
They had humiliated them.
Not just beaten them. They broke their pride, broke their stance, broke the fake confidence they had walked in with.
Carl and Jason were left bruised, coughing, bleeding from the mouth, surrounded by their own knocked-out men — a pile of failure in the alley they once walked through with swagger.
And the chapter ends there —with Leon and Daniel standing tall, breathing steadily, while the so-called bosses of the area lie broken at their feet.
