Too Bad I Take Things Seriously

Chapter 164: What's with this lousy car worth so much money?

There was nothing wrong with the contract. The company had many branches in Jin City and was quite substantial in size. However, the female sales agent in charge of receiving him kept winking at him and making various little gestures. She must have a screw loose or something, Qin Mu thought.

「At seven in the evening.」

"Mr. Qin, all the procedures are now complete. We happen to have a car in stock right now; you can come and drive it away tomorrow."

The payment was made, and all the paperwork was completed. The saleswoman smiled at Qin Mu as she spoke.

Qin Mu nodded. He left the 4S dealership, feeling reassured.

"Take care, Mr. Qin." The saleswoman was very polite, seeing him to the door.

There was a hint of regret in her expression. Such a rich client... and I actually failed to lock him down.

She had struck several coquettish poses during their interaction, but Qin Mu had completely ignored them. He showed no interest in her whatsoever.

In fact, compared to the commission from selling a car, she would earn even more if she managed to sell a bundled package.

I'll just have to try pitching it to him again tomorrow when he picks up the car, she murmured, still somewhat unwilling to give up.

Afterward, she took the documents Qin Mu had completed and prepared to submit them to her manager.

"Xiao Li, not bad at all! The month has just started, and you've already sold a car. Keep it up, and you might be the top seller again this month!" Her manager took the papers, his approval evident.

However, a few seconds later, he suddenly frowned. "Qin Mu? Your client's name is Qin Mu?" It was as if he had discovered something truly dreadful.

"What's wrong?" Confused, the saleswoman didn't understand why her manager's expression had changed so dramatically.

"This Qin Mu... he's already been blacklisted by real estate agents across the city! You're a salesperson, and you don't know this?" The manager's mouth twitched.

He then briefly recounted some of the "heart-stopping" things Qin Mu had done in Jin City.

"This man is an expert in law. Anyone who offends him meets a terrible end. Several industries in Jin City have already fallen prey to him. He even bankrupted a bank. I can't believe he's actually... buying a car from our dealership now. Fortunately, our dealership is legitimate, and our contracts are sound. There shouldn't be too much risk."

Listening to her manager, the saleswoman's eyes widened. With just a few sentences, a ferocious image of Qin Mu instantly leaped to mind.

She swallowed hard, unable to stop herself from saying, "No... no way? When I interacted with him, he seemed gentle and polite, easy to talk to, and not at all temperamental."

But her manager just scoffed. Shaking his head, he said, "You're still young; don't be fooled by his appearance. Others thought the same, figuring he was easy to bully, but they all faced severe consequences."

After a pause, he couldn't help but add a warning, "In any case, you must provide him with excellent service. Avoid any irregular sales practices. Our dealership's safety must be ensured at all costs, and more importantly, don't let this affect headquarters!"

Upon hearing this, the saleswoman nodded blankly. Her mind was filled... with nothing but the "legends" of Qin Mu.

「Mountain and Water Garden District.」

After completing the car purchase paperwork, Qin Mu headed straight back to the residential district. On the way, he paid special attention to whether any bratty kids were playing soccer on the community's internal roads. Bratty kids playing soccer... While not causing major damage, it still inconvenienced others on the road.

They're not here? Qin Mu was quite surprised, scanning the community roads.

Then, he entered the lobby of Building 10, intending to take the elevator. But he found that the bratty kid from yesterday and his grandmother were also waiting for the elevator. They lived in the same apartment building as him.

While they waited for the elevator, the bratty kid kept shouting and yelling. His voice was particularly shrill and piercing in the narrow hallway.

However, the others waiting for the elevator seemed to know this family was difficult to deal with. They merely frowned and didn't say anything to stop him. The child's grandmother, too, ignored it all, her face full of indulgence as she looked down at her phone.

Qin Mu furrowed his brow but also remained silent, deciding to endure it. One should have some tolerance for children, after all. It's just one elevator ride; it won't take long.

However, as they all entered the elevator and pressed the buttons for their respective floors, the bratty kid actually stood on tiptoe in the elevator, mashing all the floor buttons. From the first floor to the thirtieth, every single floor button was lit up.

"Hey, lady, can you control your child? This is a public area. What's he trying to do?"

"Does he want to stop at every single floor? I live on the thirtieth floor! Doesn't that mean it'll take ten minutes to get home? That's even slower than taking the stairs!"

"Hurry up and teach him a lesson! This elevator isn't his family's private property; how can he just press buttons like that?"

"Yeah, what if we're in a hurry? Pick him up quickly; don't let him fiddle around anymore."

"..."

The people in the elevator, finally unable to hold back, started to complain. Someone even tried to pull the troublemaking child back.

The bratty kid, however, just made a face and quickly hid behind the woman, who looked to be in her fifties. He showed no sign of fear at all.

"What's with all of you? Say what you want, but why get physical?" The middle-aged grandmother suddenly looked displeased and quickly shielded her grandson, holding him in her arms.

Facing the crowd, she said indignantly, "I was playing with my phone and didn't see him messing with the elevator. He just pressed a few extra buttons; can't you just press them again to turn them off?"

"Honestly, a group of adults being so malicious towards a child."

"Can't you be a little more tolerant?"
