[Small Quetzalcoatl's Fire has evolved into Quetzalcoatl's Fire]

I smiled slightly, activated the skill, and felt my body burst into a massive congregation of rainbow flames.

"Die,"  I muttered.

BOOM

All the flames surrounding my body formed a materialized sword which shot out of my hand and collided with her armor… blowing it to pieces.

But, it wasn't just her armor that was blown to pieces, but her flesh had been instantly burned and she no longer looked like a heavenly angel but a grotesque demon.

"Ha det," I muttered before seeing the girls push their weapons through her body, causing her to be overloaded with tons of different opposing elements.

These opposing elements then proceeded to collide within her body, destroying her from within and leaving absolutely nothing left.

And suddenly, the panels which appeared before me slightly disappeared, leaving a few new panels which I already assumed weren't mine to replace their spots.

It was basically the same thing, but the only difference was the skill received.

And etc… Meaning all of us obtained a skill that we immediately activated and to our surprise, they were pretty unique.

They floated above us like halos but in the shape of massive crowns with not only our respective colors but different details that made them really stand out.

For example, mine had vines and blood flowing down it while Clio had sandcastles and spiritual sand lizards crawling all over it.

The only ones we weren't able to see were Astra's and Nell's since they were still knocked unconscious during all of this.

"Wait, where are they?" I muttered and everybody's face paled.

"Did they… get crushed under the falling debris from that damned tree?" Ethel asked and without hesitation, we dashed off to move the giant pieces of ice which didn't disappear with the death of Tiana.

For a few minutes, we were panicking greatly, but as we split up to cover more area, it didn't take much longer for us to find them.

We communicated through the hivemind and everybody was relieved… but I wasn't as while I was making my way back, I found the same portal from before.

"These things really are indestructible," I muttered to myself but a strange hatred for the blue portal rushed through my body.

Seeing that something was up with this portal, I approached it closer and it felt as if it was trying to draw me in.

'Lucy, where are you?' Mia suddenly snapped me awake and just as I was about to reach into the portal, I stopped my hand.

'Sorry, got a bit distracted. Will be there in a second,' I said and quickly jogged to our agreed meet-up spot.

Once arriving, we saw Astra's and Nell's bodies still unconscious but thankfully completely unharmed, so we all breathed a sigh of relief.

"I just want to inform you that the portal that we were originally going to enter is still there… Do you still want to raid it or take a break for now?" I asked everybody and the collective agreement was of course to take a break.

We decided to just rest here in the ruins of our battle as it was obvious people were going to come to inspect the place… and that of course will include the other braves.

But, as we are now, we'll lose to all of them if we expect them to all be as strong or about as strong as Tiana.

We need to leave quickly and get stronger, otherwise, we'll all most likely just end up dying.

It's not even a prediction, but straight hard facts as it took everything out of us to kill Tiana, and I'm sure if they split us up, it'll be the death of all of us.

"Hey, Lucy, you really carried all of us in that fight," Electra said and I noticed her hair returned to its normal blue color.

"What are you talking about, you carried us," Mia chuckled and nobody really disagreed since she really did carry us.

Without her paralysis, Tiana would've wiped us from the beginning.

"I agree. If you didn't pull that out of your ass, we would've all ended up dead," I muttered while applying some ointment on my wounds and it hurt like shit.

Celestine was currently healing the most damaged one, Mia as she tanked most of the attacks and looked like a bloody mess.

But why… does she still look kind of hot.

"Lucy, you're drooling," Ethel muttered and I quickly shook my head before bringing up another topic that I wanted to talk about.

"We need to get stronger," I said and everybody froze for a bit.

"And how exactly are we going to do that. You can't even evolve because you need some bullshit permission and I swear to god, leveling up at this evolution is like hell," Clio said, balling her fist.

Clio unleashed a wave of anger but it was quickly shut down after Celestine punched her in the back of her head, knocking her unconscious and letting her heal the wounded Clio.

She had tons of wounds and I was surprised she hadn't bled out yet, but I guess that was the reason for her irritated attitude.

"Goddammit," I muttered as I scanned over my status once again.

Where would this queen be… Is she part of the Monster Paradise or is she maybe part of- wait… Is she in there?

I glanced in the direction of the portal and felt the same familiarity but also hatred towards it… so I got up, stretched, and walked towards it.

"Lucy! Where are you going?!" Mia shouted and I just responded with a quick,

"I'll be back soon! Just checking something out!" I shouted back and after about ten minutes of walking in a straight line, I held my breath.

I then made my way up some of the debris and extinguished my emotions in order to hide as much of my presence as possible.

'Girls, can you try and make as much noise as possible. Just trust me,' I directed everybody through the hivemind, and without hesitation, they all began to cheer and when Electra started choking on her cereal bar, I couldn't help but silently laugh.

"Hey, there are some people here. I guess we should get rid of them first,"

"No, we must extract as much information as possible. Do not forget the queen's orders," One of the men below me said.

They weren't humans though as even though they took a humanoid form, they had white scales lining most of their bodies and they had slim, reptile-like pupils.

Their armor wasn't anything special but their spears were pretty strong I guess.

And as soon as they moved away from the portal, I dropped down to the snow capped ground without a sound.

My bloodlust was hidden behind my eyes like daggers shrouded in shadows… and due to the increase in control over my newly evolved flames, I can finally create intricate things like daggers.

I can even make the blades serrated.

SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING

In an instant, five monsters dropped to their ground, their last sight was my beautiful flames dancing around me like ballerinas.

But, I left only one of them and he was completely pissing his pants as I glared down into his thin pupils.

"Where do you hail from?" I asked.

"Th-the Queendom of Tundra Snakes," The man said and the snow below him turned a bright shade of yellow, causing me to chuckle a bit.

"May I ask what race you are?"

But, after seeing me chuckle, the threatening air around me disappeared and I guess he gained some confidence as he then charged toward me, tears flowing from his eyes.

"Well, it's not that I needed any more information than that," I muttered before slicing his head off and then proceeding to burn all the corpses into absolutely nothing.

After making my way back, I sat in Mia's lap, and without hesitation, she began to comb my hair with a beautiful wooden comb that she had stored in her inventory.

"Geez, your hair is pretty tangled right now,"
