The Rise of Quetzalcoatl

Chapter 270: Our Very Own Room

"Want me to take over?" I asked, attempting to use this vulnerable state of hers, but even then, she stood strong, her pressure making it feel like my spine was about to snap in half.

"Ugh, you guys really came. Well, good luck getting out of here 'cause I got no idea what to do!" The queen shouted at the trio behind me.

It took her a while to sober up, and even though it was enraging, I suppressed my anger and awaited her next orders.

"Geez… all of you take a break for now… We need to stick to another plan since your gladiator friends are all horrible at their jobs," The queen muttered, placing her hand over her throbbing eyes.

Seems some have died already…

"I will gladly accept your offer," I muttered with a large smile and quickly dragged me to my room, excited to show her the amazing place, but… nothing was there. The room had literally just disappeared.

It was as if they plastered over the door and then painted over it to create a new all, making me shake my hand with disappointment.

"That petty bitch," I frowned before turning to a passing maid in order to ask what happened.

"Did something happen inside of my room or something? How come it's been completely eradicated?" I opened my lips and let the silvery words flow out of my mouth, making sure the maid would answer me without leaving anything back.

As she slightly blushed, I took a step forward toward her and lifted her chin.

"W-Well, the queen just wanted to get rid of the room. If you desire a new room for yourself and your friends here, then I could bring you to a new one?" The maid stuttered, her eyes swirling with excitement and nerves.

"Alright, leave the girl alone," Clio muttered before gesturing for the woman to start walking, which she, of course, instantly began to do.

She was practically vibrating with nerves, and sweat dripped from each corner of her face, ripping some of the light makeup that had been applied to her pale white skin.

Soon, we arrived at a room much bigger than my previous one, and apparently, this was just for me, not for everybody here, but literally just for me.

It was massive and didn't really have any dead space as it was very well furnished, decorated, and glorified with amazing amounts of gold.

"Geez… She was holding back on me the entire time," I muttered under my breath.

"Now, if you would like to follow me," The maid offered for the trio behind me, but they just shrugged and walked into my room, completely ignoring the maid's offer and deciding to just make my room their room as well.

"This place is pretty nice," Ethel muttered, running her fingers along the various gold-lined furniture.

"A-Are you sure you all don't want your own rooms? I can request for you to have some as big as this if I try hard enough?" The maid asked, sweat running down her cheek.

"Nah… I'm good," All three of them replied in unison, and so I saw the maid off before slamming the door behind me and screaming at the three.

"Don't think you all will be sharing my bed!"

"Even me?" Mia muttered.

"E-Except for Mia! You both can either sleep on the couches or on the carpet! Okay!" I quickly altered my decision and then looked back at my bed which was massive.

"I don't mind. Anyway… I'm taking a nap. I am absolutely exhausted… actually, no, I need a shower first of all," Ethel announced before turning to the bathroom and excitedly locking herself inside as she did her own thing.

"It's a bit chilly in here… or am I the only one?" Clio asked both Mia and me.

"You're asking the wrong people," Mia chuckled before ruffling my hair and giving me a kiss on the top of the head.

"Tell us when you're going to fuck so we can explore this place. I'm not trying to wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of Lucy getting railed… okay? We gotta set some standards," Clio said.

"W-Well, you're the one who infiltrated into my own room. Deal with it," I smirked but knew I was definitely going to tell them in the future unless both of us were horny at night and just decided to do it.

Ugh… What am I even thinking? I'm basically a rabbit with all of this heat on my mind… I should clear the room. It feels a bit stuffy.

I walked over to the massive window pane and unlocked the hinges, allowing me to push it up and lock it there in place.

It was quiet. The silence of the drifting snow and cold breeze coming into the stuffy room almost put me in a zen state.

"Ugh, close the window! I'm already freezing!" Clio shouted, trying to close the window, but I quickly pushed her away.

As we both had a glare off, Mia took a seat on the couch, waiting for Ethel to finish showering since she was dirty as well.

"Mia! Keep your girlfriend in check!" Clio shouted.

She just glanced over at us, darted her eyes back and forth from each of us, and then let out a long exhausted sigh.

"Lucy, come here," Mia patted the seat beside her.

"B-But don't you feel how stuffy it is in here?! It feels like they haven't aired out this place in ages! You can literally see all the dust collecting!"

"Lucy…"

As I was met by Mia's serious expression, I hesitated to open my mouth again and just as I did manage to crack open my lips, her eyes squinted.

"F-Fine, but only because she said so. I'm not doing this because I think I lost, okay?" I turned to Clio before storming past her and sitting beside Mia.

With a wide and smug grin, Clio sneakily walked over to the window, but just as she was about to close it with all her might, she heard Mia speak up once again.

"Clio, you come here as well,"

"I'm freezing! Just because both of you are immune to any temperature doesn't mean I am. We're not blood-related, so I don't have the same properties as you both!"

"Actually, I can feel various extreme temperatures. It's just that I can deal with it more than a certain whiny bitch," I chuckled, with Mia quickly wrapping her arm around my shoulder and tugging me towards her.

"Well, there are hundreds of blankets here. And this might not be the end… how about you take a look in the backroom, okay?" Mia suggested, but Clio still continued to press on.

"Ugh… These blankets are made of silk, nothing that will keep me warm unless I wear hundreds of these things… and I'm not doing that!" Clio shouted, and just as she lifted her hands up to unclip the hinges, Mia's glare turned cold.

She stood up, scaring Clio as she jolted back away from the window, though to save face in front of me, she put on a confident and unphased smile.

"H-Hmph… Fine… just cause you asked so nicely," Clio muttered before sitting next to Mia and feeling her warm body phase through her very own skin.

"Geez… you girls are such a hassle," Mia muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose as she stared up at the ceiling.

"You sound like you're talking about more than two people," I chuckled but was quickly shut up by Mia pulling my head further into her collarbone.

"Well, you siblings are all a hassle. You have no idea how much the others would argue and how much I would have to split them apart… If I wasn't there, we sisters would've already been trying to claw each other's throats out,"

Suddenly, Mia put out the palm of her hand towards me while glancing over at my side, completely ignoring Clio, who was hugging her entire waist.

"Hand," She said, and so I quickly lifted up my hand and placed it on her palm.

Her fingers wrapped around my hand ever so gently before bringing it up towards her mouth and lightly kissing it.

"Good girl," She praised me, and I felt a warm fuzz spread from within me.

"I love you…." I muttered with a large smile, snuggling my cheek into her collarbone as she lay the side of her head on top of mine.

"I love you too,"

With the whistling of the wind outside and the slight breeze of snow infiltrating my room, the mood was so calm and peaceful that Clio had already passed out and was sleeping and drooling onto Mia's dress.

The warm fuzz inside of me had spread to my heart and brain, making me so extremely happy that I couldn't stop smiling.

"All done!" A voice suddenly broke through the atmosphere, and a wild Ethel wrapped in towels and swung open the door, snapping Clio awake.

And as we all sat there in awe, looking at her pass through the room, we finally saw her enter the walk-in closet filled with clothes.

"Oh, sweet… There are some men's clothes in here… don't mind if I do…."

This girl…
