Angle's Arrogance? My Pact with the Succubus Queen!

Chapter 147: Kill the Blood Tree and Take Down Dale Morgan!

A loud shout came from the top of the Blood Tree, and the Inferno on its crown burned even brighter.

Golden flames lit up the eight Blood Cultivation Realms, tearing them apart in an instant.

In a flash, the whole underground cave expanded like a balloon, getting bigger and bigger.

Mountains, rivers, hills, and lakes appeared inside the cave.

The underground space, which was once as big as a small town, now stretched out because of the eight Blood Cultivation Realms.

Looking around, people couldn't see the end of the cave, and its height had grown beyond imagination.

Even Natalia and other Legend stage warriors lost track of the Blood Tree, and their faces turned dark.

"Damn it! That bastard! He has no heart!" Holt looked at the scene and trembled with anger.

"This underground area is already polluted. We have to go back to the Snow Dragon and move the people out as fast as we can," said Eugenia, shaking off the dust from her hands, looking pale.

"No way! If we let him go, what about the Fire Seed of the Human Federation? Without it, no new strong warriors will ever be born," said Uesugi Shin right away, cutting off the conversation.

Everyone fell silent for a moment.

Logan stepped forward and looked around. "There's still a chance. The land is polluted, but we can clean it. But if we leave the Blood Tree alone, nearby cities will get polluted too."

Hearing this, everyone looked serious.

Holt stepped forward and shouted: "Right! We can't let that old monster go. It's just that the cave got bigger because of the eight Blood Cultivation Realms. We can keep exploring!"

At that moment, Fischl suddenly appeared. She shrugged and sent out a crow, saying: "No need to worry. My shadow crows have attached to some Blood Vines. I know where it is."

The others immediately looked excited.

But just as they were about to move, Natalia suddenly turned pale and asked, "Did anyone see Logan?"

Hearing that, everyone turned around quickly.

The Red Flower Guild agents and the black ant army were still there—but Logan was gone.

Vincent frowned and looked at Fischl. "Your Highness, you were with him just now. Didn't you see him?"

Fischl sighed. "The eight Blood Cultivation Realms exploded. The sudden expansion of space separated me and him."

She then tried to sense the shadow crows she had left on Logan.

After a moment, her face turned serious. "I found him. He's... with the Blood Tree now."

"What?" Natalia turned frantic. "Now! Take me to him right away!"

Before Fischl could answer, a bunch of clear threads suddenly wrapped around her and lifted her into the air.

Sophia and Lucia looked at each other and immediately followed Natalia out.

Uesugi Shin and Kevin exchanged a glance. Both of them looked doubtful.

Kevin first looked at Yelena, who was confused and lost, then whispered to Uesugi Shin: "Old man, I don't get it. Why does Natalia care more about Logan than the two ladies?"

Uesugi Shin sighed silently. "My poor granddaughter... you just got three more rivals."

While Natalia was searching frantically for Logan, the real Logan had already been pulled into the middle of a lake by the Blood Tree.

The eight Blood Cultivation Realms had just exploded. Logan had already prepared to run, but suddenly, a golden Blood Vine wrapped around his feet.

As a result, he and the Blood Tree ended up in this strange new place.

At that moment, Dale Morgan's body came out from the trunk of the Blood Tree.

He looked at Logan with a happy face and laughed: "Hehehe, finally got you out of there."

Logan heard Dale Morgan's voice and frowned slightly. "You planned this?"

Dale Morgan smiled widely, his eyes full of madness. "Hehehe, what kind of monster am I if I don't take advantage of a human body with such a big familiar space?"

Logan understood what Dale Morgan meant right away. "You want to kill my soul and take over my body?"

"Exactly!" Dale Morgan shot out thirteen golden Blood Vines and pulled Logan into the air. "You stupid kid, you have a huge talent but don't know how to use it. That's a waste. Give me your body, and I'll use it to break through to Saint rank. I'll be the new leader of the Human Federation!"

With that, Dale Morgan ordered the thirteen golden Blood Vines to stab at Logan's body.

Logan reacted fast and used his [Dimensional Ambush] ability, creating thirteen space cracks in front of him.

The golden Blood Vines were too fast. They went deep into the cracks and were quickly twisted by Logan into a messy braid.

Dale Morgan didn't expect Logan to have this power. He didn't care that his vines were broken—his greed only grew.

"Good! All this power is mine!" Dale Morgan laughed and jumped back into the trunk of the Blood Tree.

Soon, the tree's crown began to burn. Human belief energy formed chains that locked Logan in the air, making him unable to move.

"Now, you can't escape!" Dale Morgan laughed as he ordered the chains to stab into Logan's body and destroy his soul.

Logan just laughed. "That's what you should say. Welcome to the Hell Deep I prepared for you."

As soon as he finished speaking, Logan and the Blood Tree disappeared into the lake.

When they reappeared, they were on a dark and desolate land.

At the end of the land stood a huge castle, shining under the moonlight, grand and mysterious.

Dale Morgan looked shocked and said: "This is your familiar space? It's huge for sure!"

Logan smiled. "Yeah, it's big enough to give you a piece of land for a grave."

Logan's voice grew quieter. When Dale Morgan finally realized something was wrong, Logan had already completely disappeared in front of the Blood Tree.

The chains made from human belief energy had already been cut into pieces by Logan.

Seeing this, Dale Morgan took a deep breath and said: "How could a Master stage guy cut through these chains?"

"So what if I'm Master stage? My familiar is Legend stage!" Logan's voice came again, full of mockery.

Then, a slim figure suddenly fell from the sky.

Lilith's powerful presence spread out at once, making Dale Morgan immediately alert.

At the same time, a group of wolf howls echoed. Kerparos appeared next to Logan, stepping on hellfire.

Dale Morgan looked at this and his face, already dark, turned even darker. "Two Legend stage familiars! You really hid deep!"

Logan clapped his hands and smiled. "Thanks to you! This Blood Tree is too big. I tried many times to get close to it but failed. But you pulled me right next to you."

Dale Morgan heard the mockery in Logan's words and got even angrier. "You liar! You were faking the whole time! Your power isn't worse than those Legend stage familiar tamer guys!"

With that, Dale Morgan shot out thousands of Blood Vines, ready to fight with Logan.

Lilith looked cold and said, "Life Exploitation!"

At her command, the powerful life energy from the Blood Vines poured out like a flood, rushing toward her forehead uncontrollably.

At the same time, the Blood Vines, losing their life energy quickly, stopped moving and began to shake uncontrollably.

Logan counted silently in his mind.

In less than ten seconds, the thousands of Blood Vines Dale Morgan had released were turned into dry, lifeless vines by Lilith.

Seeing this, Dale Morgan was completely shocked.

Just a moment ago, after Lilith absorbed all the life energy from the Blood Vines, her power had grown even stronger.

Dale Morgan knew clearly that if this kept going, Lilith would become so strong that even he would be afraid.

So he stopped sending out Blood Vines and instead started burning his Fire Seed, trying to use human belief energy to kill Lilith.

But then, Kerparos let out a loud howl with all three of its wolf heads, and suddenly, the golden Inferno on the Blood Tree's top was put out.

Dale Morgan stared in shock. "How... how did you do that?"

Logan, hearing this, took off his coat and waved it at Dale Morgan, laughing. "Thanks for this Guardian of Order set. I had Kerparos study the magic array inside it that calls on Human Federation belief energy. I added a few of those arrays to my familiar space."

He continued, and golden flames started glowing from his body. "My original plan was to use those arrays to steal a little belief energy to strengthen my familiar space. But you gave me the Fire Seed yourself. I couldn't just let your kindness go to waste."

Hearing this, Dale Morgan shouted in rage. "You little thief! You're disgusting!"

Logan shrugged. "Now all you can do is rage and die. Any last words you want to say?"

Dale Morgan knew he wasn't getting out of this. He let out a cold laugh. "I'll fight you to the end!"

With that, he turned into a red flash and shot straight into Logan's forehead.
