In the air, Nel kept dodging and weaving, clearly frustrated. "Damn it, if I didn't have to keep up Gwen's image, I would have already lost my temper!"
She kicked Golden Ant King away, dodged the claws of Dragon Emperor and Dragon Commander, then jumped onto Red Feather and disappeared into the void again.
In the spectator area, everyone was amazed by Nel's strange ability to dodge.
The people watching the battle were either very powerful or had high status.
All of them noticed how special Nel's fighting style was.
"Does anyone know where this girl learned such a fighting style? It's so cool!"
"I've been in the Adventurer Guild for over ten years, and I've never seen a familiar tamer like this before."
"It's amazing. Having a stronger body than your familiars isn't unheard of in the Human Federation. But this girl's power is way too extreme! How come so many of her equal-level familiars can't catch her?"
In a corner of the stands, the leaders from Edo Castle and Storm Wind City were talking about the battle.
Sawako and Yelena, seeing Logan keep getting the upper hand, started to worry.
Even their elders were completely at a loss about Nel's fighting style.
Yelena couldn't hold back her worry and asked directly: "Father, who is this woman really?"
Sawako also grabbed Uesugi Shin's arm and kept asking: "Grandpa, who do you think will win this fight?"
These two questions left the two leaders of the factions completely speechless.
They had no choice but to stand up and walk over to where Philip General and Darwin General were sitting, hoping to hear the Military Committee's analysis.
After all, among the people watching, no one was as knowledgeable as them.
When Philip saw the two city lords arrive, he moved aside and smiled: "Come on, sit down and watch the show."
Hearing the word "watch the show," Uesugi Shin and the Duke of Storm Wind City exchanged a glance, both seeing surprise in each other's eyes.
"Are you not worried that Logan might lose?" Uesugi Shin asked, clearly curious.
"Ha ha, she's holding back for Logan. He can't lose," Philip said, raising his cup and laughing.
"She doesn't have any bad intentions. Her leader already talked to us," Darwin General added.
"Her leader?" The Duke of Storm Wind City looked puzzled. "Who is this person? They must be someone really strong to train someone like this."
Hearing the word "leader," Darwin General sighed but didn't explain further.
Meanwhile, Lucia was watching Nel's movements closely, her eyes glowing with a strange light.
Sophia looked at Lucia and sighed: "Did you figure out what her battle style is?"
Lucia sneered. "That woman's battle style is called [Mirror]."
"Mirror?" Sophia looked at Lucia with curiosity. "That ability is one of the top-ranked in the Pinocchini."
Lucia sighed. "It's ranked 39th. It's really tricky. That woman didn't actually break free from Logan's space trap. She just used her ability to make a mirror copy of the surrounding environment."
"Like looking in a mirror, she can move both in the real space and the mirrored space. She can decide which parts of the environment are copied and which are left out."
At this, Sophia suddenly understood: "So when the attacks came at her, she just moved into the mirrored space?"
"No!" Natalia suddenly cut in, warning them. "Her [Mirror] ability has advanced to the point where she can mirror her own body. She didn't dodge at all—she just quickly used the mirror to heal herself."
Hearing this, Sophia looked shocked. "Is it like saving a game?"
Natalia nodded. "Your way of explaining it is pretty clear."
Sophia wasn't happy about Natalia's praise though.
Instead, she felt even more worried about Logan.
Below the stands, Fischl had been trying desperately to break through the barrier and stop the Arena Match.
After the crisis at The Black Church, Logan had become even more important to her.
Now, whenever Logan was out of sight, she would feel uneasy and anxious.
Arthur didn't want to hurt Fischl, so he reminded her again: "Imperial Princess, this battle is an arranged trial. Please don't disturb Mr. Logan."
But Fischl had made up her mind to break through the judgment court's barrier.
Just as she was about to release her shadow crows, a warm light wrapped around her, gentle and full of life, like a spring breeze.
"Dear sister, may the gods bless you. Please rest in peace!" A deep, smooth voice rang out, and a bright light spread across the spectator area.
A white-robed man with golden hair arrived, stepping down with flowers blooming around him. He raised his hands and cast a set of light and shadow illusions.
"Light of Sleep!"
As the skill activated, Fischl immediately fell into a deep sleep and collapsed to the ground.
Natalia noticed this and sneered, stepping in front of the man. "Get out."
The man saw Natalia and bowed politely. "Sister Natalia, your temper is still as hot as ever!"
When hearing the word "sister," the crowd around them turned to look at Natalia with strange expressions. Natalia let out a cold hum and called out, "He calls everyone 'sister.' What's the big deal?"
Being exposed like that, the man gave a polite smile. "I just saw the Imperial Princess from The Black Church looking worried, so I wanted her to rest a bit. I had no bad intentions."
Arthur, the judge, walked up and waved a hand. "Ah, isn't this the Holy Son? The Temple is also interested in the internal conflict of the Genius Training Camp?"
The Holy Son bowed politely and explained: "We heard about what happened at The Black Church. We hope to rescue the lost believers as soon as possible. That's why we came to look for Mr. Logan and hope he can guide us."
As he spoke, he turned and looked at Fischl, who was lying in Natalia's arms. His eyes lit up. "But I see Mr. Logan is very busy. If the Imperial Princess from The Black Church helps, I think this trip will go smoothly as well."
Hearing this, Arthur frowned.
Natalia's face also turned cold.
Trying to take someone in front of Logan would have serious consequences, and they both knew it.
Feeling the hostility, the Holy Son smiled and waved his hand. "Don't worry. We won't miss any manners. I'll wait for Mr. Logan to finish the fight and ask him in person."
At this, the Holy Son suddenly turned his eyes toward Fischl and reminded them, "Please take good care of the Imperial Princess. I don't want her to get hurt in any way."
Above the arena, Nel was constantly moving around the group of Logan's familiars, looking completely exhausted.
After testing and observing, Logan had also figured out the secret of Nel's ability—the mirrored space.
And any battle style ability has its limits. Now that Logan knew what he was up against, he was going for a long, exhausting fight.
Once Nel ran out of the energy to switch between the real and mirrored space, he would win.
But Nel didn't think that way at all. She kept dodging, trying to find a chance to pressure Logan.
However, Logan's shameless behavior surprised her more than she expected. Ever since she had kicked him twice, he never gave her a chance to get close again.
As soon as she got close to Logan, he would instantly teleport away, leaving behind 108 spiritual body clones to block her.
Whenever she stepped into the mirrored space and disappeared, Logan would immediately jump into the familiar space, cutting off any chance she had.
In short, before Nel could beat all of Logan's familiars, she completely lost any chance to get close to him.
"Uwaaaaa! Logan! You're cheating!" Nel couldn't take it anymore. She sat down in the middle of the arena and started crying loudly.
The people around her saw her crying and all gave a faint smile.
Because to the audience, it had always looked like Logan was running away while Nel was chasing him and hitting him.
But now, why did Nel start crying in the middle of the fight?
On the stands, both General Philip and General Darwin were stunned.
General Philip blinked for a moment, sighed in a helpless way, and said: "Oh no, I didn't expect Logan to have so many hidden tricks. The plan from Pinocchini might be ruined."
General Darwin covered his face, shaking his head with a mix of laughter and frustration. "We just wanted to give him some pressure, make him not be too proud, and maybe bring out his full potential. But now, the pressure is all on the opponent."
In a dark corner, Bobbi was watching the battle on the arena, and angrily stamped her foot.
She grabbed her communicator and shouted, "Boss, let me go! I'll definitely take that guy down!"
A static noise came through the communicator, then a voice said: "If Nel can't beat him, you won't have a chance either. Cancel this mission. Tell Nel to give up."
Bobbi wasn't ready to accept it. "But—!"
The voice on the communicator roared back, "There's no 'but'! Follow the order! We can't let the public figure out what's going on!"
Bobbi pouted and said "Okay," then hung up the phone.
This match finally ended with Gwen voluntarily giving up.
Although Logan didn't win in a very elegant way, his strength and power were undeniable. No one dared to question them.
Even Alex, the previous temporary chairman, wasn't even a tenth as strong as Logan.
Logan stood in the center of the arena, and many guests came up to take photos with him.
The award ceremony alone lasted more than an hour.
Logan rubbed his stiff face and sighed, "Looks like next time I should charge more and control the crowd better."
After the ceremony, all the audience slowly left.
Logan sat on the arena, silently watching Fischl in Natalia's arms. His eyes were cold. "Who did this?"
Natalia shrugged. "It was the Holy Son from the Temple. We thought he was using a familiar skill at first, but he actually used a divine technique."
Logan frowned. "Divine technique?"
Sophia explained, "You know, the so-called 'god skills' that those temple guys always talk about! Divine techniques can't be removed by Light Side skills. Since Fischl's soul looks stable and her breathing is even, we didn't try to wake her up."
Logan stood up, brushing the dust off his clothes. "If that's the case, then you guys go back first. I'm going into the city to tear down the Temple."
