Laying down in a comfortable position in the depth of the cave she had found herself, Scaly decided to pull up her status one last time before going through with her third evolution to make sure that everything was in order.

Compared to the last time she looked through it, there wasn't really much that had changed outside of the increased level of her dragon bloodline and the appearance of the corrosion resistance, but even then, she felt a sense of pride when she looked at how strong she had become compared to when she had started out as a normal lizard back at the first floor of the dungeon.

At the same time, she also began looking forward to just how much stronger she would become after going through her third evolution now that her dragon bloodline had managed to reach level 4… And it was with that thought in mind that she turned her attention towards the interface she had done her best to ignore after she reached level 30.

Not hesitating any longer now that she was fully prepared, Scaly excitedly screamed in her mind as she watched the interface in front of her disappearing before being replaced by a new one that Scaly already understood contained the different evolution she could choose to undergo.

[Elder Lizard]

[Requirments: Strength 100, VIT 100]

[Description: The strongest evolution of the ordinary lizard. Far larger than any other normal lizards, the elder lizard is around the size of a normal horse though some are known to grow far larger. Even reaching the size of small houses in some circumstance, thus earning them the nickname of wingless dragons among many.

Although the elder lizard isn't hard to find anywhere in the world considering that it's the most common evolution for any lizard, they are still considered rare to some extent considering that they still represent the final evolution of the normal lizard. Of course, they can easily be found in the deeper dungeons that have lizards inside of them.]

[Blade Lizard]

[Requirement: Dexterity 80, Strength 80, Claw Strike lvl 3]

[Description: A unique evolution from the normal lizard that looks no different from an adult big lizard, outside of the fact that it's covered in sharp blade like spikes and has terrifyingly sharp claws capable of cutting through most armor.

Generally hard to find, as the blade lizard are normally only found in dungeons or areas filled with sharp objects that the lizard can use to sharpen their claws and train before evolving into a blade lizard.]

[Greater Elemental Lizard]

[Requirements: Magic 150, Elemental Type Magic level 7 or four Elemental Type Magic level 3]

[Description: The evolution of the smaller and weaker elemental lizard, the greater elemental lizard is known for its terrifying control over elemental magic. Either mastering a single element to a terrifying extent or showing great control over the four main elements.

By far one of the strongest lizards out there, though their rarity makes it impossible for most adventurers to ever see one during their lifetime. Normally only found around mana springs or at the deepest parts of dungeons where the mana is abundant enough.]

Reading through the first three evolutions that appeared in front of her, Scaly could not help feeling a bit disappointed.

Although the Greater Elemental Lizard seemed to be powerful, it wasn't an evolution that got her closer to becoming a dragon, but instead just turned her into a magic wielding lizard not much different from the sorcerer snake that she had encountered when she had first entered the fourth floor of the dungeon together with the rest of the monsters from the third floor of the dungeon.

However, her disappointment at not seeing any dragon related evolutions disappeared the moment she glanced down towards the rest of the evolution below the greater elemental lizard.

[Adult Ancient Water Dragon Lizard]

[Requirements: Water Magic level 7, Dragon Bloodline level 3, Magic 200]

[Description: The adult version of the Ancient Water Dragon Lizard, long since thought to have gone extinct. Only a single step away from truly becoming a dragon, as a pair of wings have begun growing on the back. Although not yet usable, they are a clear sign that it is indeed the progenitor of the dragons.]

[Young Wyvern]

[Requirements: Strength 100, Vitality 150, Dragon Bloodline level 3, Dragon Breath lvl 1, Flight lvl 1]

[Description: The wyvern, a type of lesser dragon with two legs, two wings and an often-pointed tail that some wyverns evolve to become poisonous, often mistaken for real dragons due to their clear resemblance.

The young wyvern, although not an adult wyvern, is still strong and hard to come by. Often living in far off mountain ranges or isolated mountains deep inside monster infested forests. Even inside dungeons, they are rare to find.]

As she read through these two descriptions, Scaly felt excited, as both of the evolutions were clearly going in the right direction. The young wyvern evolution would even allow her to start flying as she would get a pair of wings.

If she had to choose between the two, she would really not know which of them she would end up choosing, as both were good in their own way.

Luckily, she didn't have to choose, as there were still two more evolutions left… And both of them had appeared because her dragon bloodline had reached level 4!

[Young Greater Drake]

[Requirements: Vitality 200, Strength 100, Magic 100, Dragon Bloodline level 4, Dragon Breath level 3]

[Description: A young greater drake, a lesser dragon with four limbs, much like a lizard outside of its far larger size that even makes the larger elder lizard look small in comparison. Even though the greater drake doesn't have wings like most lesser dragons, it makes up for it with its terrifying strength.

Drakes are normally difficult to come by and can almost be considered as rare as the dragons themselves. Not just that, but some drakes are known to be strong enough to contend equally with the dragons, a feat rarely archived by any lesser dragons.]

[Water Dragon Hatchling]

[Requirements: Vitality 100, Magic 250, Dragon Bloodline level 4, Water Magic level 7, Dragon Breath (water) level 3, Swimming level 1]

[Description: As the name suggests, a newly born water dragon that has only recently hatched. Weaker than most lesser dragons around its level, as it's only a hatchling that was born recently and is still far from an adult dragon in terms of strength.]

Looking through the final two evolutions on the list of evolutions this time around, Scaly didn't even hesitate for a second as she directly chose the water dragon hatchling located at the bottom of the interface.

Although it might be weaker than the young greater drake, Scaly didn't even think twice when she saw that she could actually become a dragon.

Her dream was to become a powerful dragon and now that the opportunity was there, she would never let it go. Even if she might end up a bit weaker than a young greater drake at the beginning, she understood that it would only be a matter of time before her strength far surpassed something like a greater drake!

Today, she was officially going to take her first step towards becoming a powerful dragon like she had been dreaming of ever since she found herself on the first floor of the dungeon.

Swish~ Swish~

As her tail excitedly swayed from side to side in response to her happy emotions, a familiar interface popped up in front of her.

[Do you want to evolve into a Water Dragon hatchling?]: [Y/N]

YES!!!

Not bothering to think about any of the other choices available to her as she had already made up her mind, Scaly excitedly called out in her head as both her eyes were shining with excitement.

However, in her excitement, she had forgotten something crucial about the evolution…

And so, like what had happened during her first and second evolution, a weird blue spark suddenly appeared out of thin air in front of her before it soon engulfed her entire body.

Followed by which, a now familiar wave of pain suddenly started to spread through her entire body. Almost instantly knocking her unconscious in the process, as she barely had time to move into a more comfortable position before the sweet embrace of darkness spared her from having to be conscious and experience the soul tearing pain that was currently wrecking through her entire body.

Far exceeding any of her other evolutions as the changes involved this time around were far bigger compared to the past as it slowly began changing her body from inside out once again…
