Thinking that they had reached the location where the rest of the heavenly lake serpents might be living, Scaly could not help feeling a bit excited as she began to approach the two now completely frozen monsters. Not even bothering to think twice about why the two monsters had suddenly come to a stop outside of them reaching the entrance to the heavenly lake serpent home.

Suddenly realizing what could very well be the reason for the mole lord's inaction, Scaly could not help feeling a bit worried about the mole lord.

Even though it was clearly the strongest among all the monsters present, its bad vision was a significant disadvantage that seemed to have rendered it incapable of discovering the danger approaching from behind while it remained focused on the titan spider and the heavenly lake serpent in front of it.

Continuing to slowly move closer hoping to potentially take advantage of the upcoming conflict to kill a certain bloated heavenly lake serpent not too far away from her, Scaly soon realized that the reason why this staring competition had been going on for such a long period of time was not because the mole lord was unwilling to move out of the way, but instead because it was unable to do so.

Unfortunately, the mole lord was not known for its strong physical ability, but its powerful earth magic, which remained unaffected.

Even if it was just sitting ducks now and couldn't move, the titan spider didn't dare to underestimate its opponent and had thus been locked in a silent stare down for the past few minutes.
