"HAHAHA!"

"You're really something, Sir Ethan," Issac said.

Issac added that Ethan was the first person who ever threatened him directly in his own office. The man threw the file forward, letting it land on the glass table in front of the sofa.

Ethan was still in the room, with the officers and Issac still staring at him, their eyes full of seriousness.

"I don't think I want to pay," Issac said.

"In that case, I'll have to take you to Mavelard Prison," Ethan replied.

"Go ahead… if you can get me out of this place," Issac said with a grin.

The officers pulled out their weapons and started moving toward Ethan. Ethan narrowed his eyes.

He had already anticipated this kind of move because Issac definitely wouldn't let him walk away after Ethan learned about his crimes.

Seven officers were Warriors, while the rest were Assassins, Mages, and Priests. They worked together to defeat Ethan, causing chaos and noise in Issac's office.

Issac stayed quiet, drinking straight from his wine bottle as he watched Ethan struggle against his ten officers.

He knew the story about Ethan taking Mavelard from Silver Star, but people always exaggerated things in the original tale.

Now, inside his office, Issac finally had a chance to see if the story matched Ethan's real ability or not.

Ethan was pushed far back, close to the door of the room. But one of the mage officers pointed his staff and activated a space-binding spell, making it impossible for Ethan to escape.

"Very… impressive."

"You can join LionArk if you want. I promise you'll be treated better than anything Issac can give," Ethan offered.

"No thanks. Our loyalty and hearts are for Heaven Palace Guild alone. We won't betray it," one of the officers answered.

Ethan sighed. He had no idea what made them so loyal. But he suspected something had happened to them, and it was clearly related to Issac.

He stretched his hand forward, summoning his Bloodblade Ashura, which appeared right in his grip. Ethan's power surged sharply, red flame tattoos appearing on his body and face.

[Mode Ashura Activated]

The officers swallowed hard, stepping back several times as they watched the sudden rise of power in Ethan's body. That power was clearly stronger than Issac's.

Issac realized Ethan was being serious. The appearance of Ashura Mode meant destruction was coming.

He quickly stood and moved in front of his officers. He clearly ordered them to leave and tell the others that the guild was in danger.

The guild officers obeyed Issac's command. They broke through the glass wall and left his office. Not only them, but the six women who had been in the bathtub also escaped.

Now the room only had Issac and Ethan left. Issac summoned his black armor and sword, trying to steady his heart as Ethan stood right in front of him.

Could Issac beat Ethan? He had no idea. But he refused to let LionArk walk all over him and Heaven Palace Guild.

"We can settle this quickly by taking you away to be jailed," Ethan said.

"I'm not paying the fine, and I'm not going to jail," Issac replied.

Ethan exhaled. He gripped his Bloodblade Ashura tightly, then swung his sword upward, sending three claw-like slashes forward.

Issac panicked. He tried to shield his body with his sword defense skill, but Ethan's slash was so strong that it shattered Issac's protective power.

An explosion went off inside Issac's office, blasting Issac far out of the room and sending him flying through the shattered glass wall.

"Guild Master Issac!" several people shouted.

They looked up at Issac as he floated in the air, then immediately turned when they saw a man step out through the destroyed glass wall.

The man had a powerful crimson aura, his appearance terrifying with his red hair and tattoos. Ethan's eyes focused straight ahead, right where Issac landed on the training field.

"All of you, listen!" Ethan shouted.

"Guild Master Issac is charged with theft, assault, and murder. He refuses to be jailed and refuses to pay the fine."

"This is a direct order from the Vice Leader of LionArk. Anyone who helps protect Issac will be charged with aiding a criminal!"

Ethan shouted and threatened everyone with prison if they dared help Issac. The guild members listened, looking at each other, unsure how to respond.

But five of Issac's officers ran toward him to protect their guild master, while the rest chose to stay silent and obey Ethan.

"Guild Master Issac is innocent. You're trying to criminalize him," one man said.

"If you want Issac, you'll have to get through us first!" another shouted.

No other guild members wanted to help Issac and the five officers. They were stuck after hearing Ethan's decision. Helping Issac would be seen as a crime, yet Issac was their guild master.

But their solidarity proved something else. They ran, changed their appearance, summoned their weapons, and lined up to protect Issac as the Guild Master of Heaven Palace.

Ethan smiled, impressed. Seeing that made him feel like he was the villain. But since they had chosen, Ethan would accept their decision according to the law.

He opened his friends list and called Sherly. Their voices connected.

[Sherly9090: What is it, Sir Ethan?]

[EthanArk: Issac refuses to be arrested. A lot of Heaven Palace members are protecting him.]

[EthanArk: I don't want a massacre. That would ruin my reputation later.]

[EthanArk: Call Ashley here. Send Officer Hans and Officer Darcy. Bring five hundred security members too.]

Ethan turned off the call and jumped from the second floor of Heaven Palace headquarters. He stepped forward with firm steps, his right hand still holding his Bloodblade Ashura.

People began to panic. They rushed forward to attack Ethan, and Ethan moved fast, cutting them down and activating Ashura Rift.

Several Heaven Palace members were injured from Ethan's attacks. Those who saw it grew even more scared and worried. They clearly didn't want to die.

Those obsessed with women and wealth were always the ones afraid of death.

Ethan stopped and stabbed his sword into the ground, standing with his back toward the bodies of the Heaven Palace members who had died.

"I'll give you one last chance!"

"Kneel and hand Issac over to me."
