"Yes, this was thanks to Hanss giving me all the details about their crimes. It made me confident in acting."

"I heard news from the guilds in the city. They're relieved that you took action against Heaven Palace. Now there's no room for any guild to act superior to LionArk," Ashley said.

"It's our duty as city leaders to make sure everyone is safe. That's what matters," Ethan replied.

Ashley cleared her throat in agreement. She stepped closer to Ethan and looked at the files he was organizing.

"We should celebrate this by going out to eat. What do you think?" Ashley asked.

Ethan let out a small laugh. Ashley bringing up food made him realize he hadn't eaten dinner tonight.

There was too much work today, from the meeting with Bagas from Twin Sun to arresting Issac. He had done everything alone, and Ashley clearly knew how busy he had been today.

A dinner outside was the right thing to relieve stress. Ashley insisted that this time, she would be the one paying for the meal.

Ethan nodded several times. After finishing the files, Ethan and Ashley left the LionArk headquarters together.

In the city center, they had their usual restaurant, a place they believed served good food. Every time they planned to eat outside, they always went to that restaurant.

"I don't know. Maybe work on those files and welcome representatives from other guilds," Ethan answered.

"If I'm not mistaken, tomorrow is the day the Raid Tower Expedition Team will be sent into the Tower to start their exploration," Ethan added.

"Yes. I heard that from Jill and Hanss."

"The Raid Tower is important for improving the members' abilities, increasing their awareness, and so on."

"It can be their training ground before the Guild War begins," Ethan said.

Ashley agreed, fully sharing Ethan's opinion. Because of the heavy workload in Mavelard, Ashley hadn't done a tower raid in a long time.

Maybe they could reach floors no one had reached before. That thought made Ashley curious.

They continued eating and drank some wine. Ethan made sure Ashley didn't drink too much. It wouldn't look good if she appeared drunk on the street.

After finishing at the restaurant, they walked back to the LionArk headquarters. The main street of the city late at night wasn't too crowded, only a few people still awake.

At this hour, the red district was the popular choice for entertainment. The district offered prostitutes for people to satisfy their desires, and the prices weren't cheap.

Ethan knew which guilds ran the brothel business. But he couldn't ignore the needs people had for sex.

So he allowed those businesses to exist as long as they followed the legal protocols in Mavelard.

Ethan and Ashley arrived at the LionArk headquarters. They went up to the third floor and were about to enter their own rooms. But Ethan's attention turned when Ashley called him.

"Our own rooms? We're husband and wife," Ashley said.

"Sleep with me here. I don't want to sleep alone tonight."
