After the list of benefits where words highlighted in gold:

[Price: 1,000,000 Gold Coins]
[Available now at all ThornTech outlets across the Valkrin Kingdom.]
Bruce whistled softly under his breath.
"Expensive… but worth it."
Scrolling down further, the comment section loaded.
It was flooded.
[IronFang87: Damn, two dungeon outbreaks at Aurelion Ward?! My younger brother attends the Academy there… I really hope he's safe.]
Replies popped up instantly.
[GuildWatch: Academy suffered zero casualties. Awakeneds and adventurers held the line perfectly.]
[IronFang87: Thank goodness…]
Another thread caught Bruce's eye.
[SilverQuill: Those photos are insane. That dragon… was that real?!]
[RedShield: I was there. It was real. I've never seen A-Rank beasts torn apart like that.]
[StormCaller: I'm buying one tomorrow for my bro. Already told my whole squad too.]
[HearthMother: If this bracelet can protect children and academies like that, I don't care about the price.]
More posts streamed in.
[Live updates.]
Reports from different parts of Valkrin Kingdom. Minor dungeon sightings. Guild movements. Market reactions. Emergency notices. It wasn't just news. It was a living network.
Bruce leaned back slightly, eyes narrowing with interest.
'This changes everything.'
Information like this, real-time, widespread, unfiltered, was more dangerous than any weapon.
And ThornTech now controlled it.
Bruce lowered his bracelet slightly and turned toward Lucy. "By the way," he said casually, "the bracelet I gave you just got a new feature."
Lucy looked up from the table. "New feature?"
"V-Net," Bruce replied. "You'll be able to get real-time updates on what's happening across Valkrin. Dungeon outbreaks, emergencies, guild movements. You won't have to sit around worrying next time."
Lucy blinked, then nodded. "Oh… okay."
She raised her wrist and activated her bracelet.
A moment later, a colorful holographic screen unfolded from the pinhole above her wrist, hovering neatly in front of her. Her eyes widened slightly as the interface finished loading.
"…Oh," she muttered.
She started scrolling.
Then she stopped abruptly.
"Bruce?" she called out.
"Yes?"
Lucy tilted her wrist toward him. "Is this… you?"
Bruce stepped closer.
A video was playing across her holographic display.
It was dramatic, almost cinematic. Ash descending from the sky, wings spreading wide as the sun flared behind them. Bruce stood atop the dragon's back, cloak fluttering, the entire scene framed perfectly. In the background, a powerful instrumental track played, syncing eerily well with the visuals.
Bruce stared for a second.
Then nodded. "Yeah. That's me."
Lucy's fingers froze mid-air.
"And that beast killing those wolves…" she continued slowly, swiping to the next clip.
The video shifted.
Ash tearing through clusters of mutant wolves in ultra-slow motion, claws ripping through bodies with terrifying ease. Every movement was captured perfectly, the flex of muscle, the snap of bone, the overwhelming dominance radiating from its form.
"…That's Ash too," Bruce added calmly.
Lucy's gaze moved from the hologram to the small, adorable Ash curled up near the table.
Then back to the screen.
Then back to Ash.
No matter how hard she tried, it was nearly impossible to reconcile the cuddly little creature in front of her with the ferocious, domineering dragon displayed on the screen.
She sighed.
"…I suppose I'll just have to see Ash transform later," she said quietly.
Ash tilted its head, tail swishing.
Lucy smiled faintly and resumed scrolling, quickly becoming absorbed in the flood of information pouring in through V-Net.
"Oh my…" she murmured. "There's so much."
Dungeon alerts. Trade updates. Guild notices. Civilian posts. Real-time discussions unfolding before her eyes.
Then she paused again.
"…Transportation using mutant beasts?" Lucy frowned slightly as she opened a thread. "This is interesting."
Bruce glanced over.
She had stumbled onto a discussion about logistics, families and merchants experimenting with tamed mutant beasts for cargo transport, cutting costs and time drastically which her husband has been managing something similar...
"…This could actually help us," Lucy muttered.
She tapped into the comment section.
[IronTrail Logistics: Anyone else using mountain-type beasts for long-haul transport? Fuel costs dropped by half for us.]
[FrostWay Traders: We switched to snow variants. Slower, but safer in bad weather.]
Lucy's fingers moved quickly as she typed.
[L. Banny: Has anyone tried mixed routes using both ground and flying beasts?]
Replies came almost instantly.
[SkyPath Co: Yes. Flying beasts for priority cargo, ground beasts for bulk. Coordination is key.]
Lucy's eyes lit up.
"…I should take notes."
She kept scrolling, discovering threads related to small family businesses, independent traders, and emerging transport networks. Before long, she was actively chatting with a few people in the same line of work, exchanging ideas and experiences.
Bruce watched quietly from the side.
V-Net wasn't just news.
It was opportunity.
And Lucy had already found her footing in it.
Somewhere nearby, Lily leaned over the table, peeking at the floating screens with curiosity, while Ash rested its head on the floor, watching them all with lazy interest.
For the first time that day,
The world felt calm.
But Bruce knew better.
Because with information flowing this freely,
Change was coming.
"Bruce," Lucy suddenly called out.
He looked up. "Yeah?"
"Come take a look at this."
Bruce walked over and leaned slightly toward her bracelet. The holographic screen shifted automatically, enlarging the content she was viewing.
It was an official announcement.
The emblem of the Adventurer Guild hovered at the top, rotating slowly, accompanied by clean, authoritative text beneath it.
[Adventurer Guild – Public Notice]
[In collaboration with ThornTech, the Adventurer Guild will be releasing curated VR Trial Footage of our newest recruits to the public.]
These clips will allow civilians to witness, firsthand, the realities faced by Adventurers during dungeon trials, combat intensity, survival pressure, and the dangers inherent to the profession.
Selected footage will be made available through V-Net in the coming days.
Bruce's brows furrowed slightly.
"…VR trial footage?"
Lucy nodded. "It says they want people to understand what adventurers actually go through. To stop the rumors. And maybe… encourage more recruits."
Bruce didn't respond immediately.
His eyes skimmed further down the announcement.
