Amanda was on cloud nine of course, and her peers—who used to look down on her—were burning with envy, because she was riding the wave of my giant piggy bank.
"Sir, here's today's report," one of my staff knocked, handing me a stack of documents to review.
It was tedious work, no doubt, but far better than doing nothing at all.
"So… they still haven't given us authorization yet?" I asked, flipping through the papers.
"Yes, sir. Right now, only Phoenix, Mythical, and Nebula have access, since they've met the requirements to keep raiding it up to the fifteenth floor."
I nodded, already familiar with the problem.
Only if they failed to make progress for a full month would we be allowed to challenge it—and even then, we would need an official S-Rank to lead the climb.
My best chance would come when they gave up at the fifteenth floor. I'd heard rumors that the floors above were on a whole different level, with casualties for each attempt far from economical—so most guilds stopped there
A few, eager to test their limits, would wait until they had enough information before challenging the boss, carefully planning a strategy, calculating how many S-Ranks they'd need, and identifying which abilities would be key factors.
And, like any other first time, the one to raid it initially would have to sacrifice heavily just to push the boss far enough to study its attack patterns
It was an outcome even top-tier guilds dreaded, since they could potentially lose several S-Ranks in the process.
"Just keep checking on them. Once we get an opportunity, we need to secure the right to challenge it."
"But, sir… we don't have any S-Ranks yet."
"Don't worry about that. Soon, we'll have dozens—and it'll shake this entire city."
I dismissed the staff and headed toward the training center reserved for core members of the guild.
The facility was massive—more like a fortress than a gym. State-of-the-art reinforced walls lined every hall, layered with absorption matrices designed to swallow shockwaves, elemental blasts, and raw kinetic force. Even full-powered attacks barely left a mark.
It would take an entire team of dedicated tanks, working together for, just to seriously damage the place.
Right now, the ten women Master Tang had assigned to me were deep in their martial arts drills.
Knowing it would take them a while to truly grasp the logic behind Cultivation, I decided to start with something more… hands-on—improving their techniques first.
Just by giving them a bit of guidance on how to better utilize their abilities, their combat power had jumped several levels. Not enough to reach S-Rank yet, but it was only a matter of time before they got there.
Of course, that wasn't the only reason they were moving better. Let's just say I was more than willing to adjust their meridians myself, improving blood flow and unlocking greater potential.
"Alexa, come here."
"Show me your back," I said, my tone firm—like an old master passing judgment.
I even clasped my hands behind my own back, selling the image as I watched her straighten, already knowing what came next.
She sat on the floor and slowly pulling her training tank tops, revealing her bare back to me.
Her muscles were tight and defined, each line a testament to the hours she spent honing her strength and discipline.
I didn't touch her nor the others—not yet. I wanted to keep my options open, savor the process.
If I devoured everything in one go, I would burn through the excitement too quickly. Patience, I reminded myself. Sometimes, anticipation was just as powerful as action.
I circled her slowly, eyes tracing the curve of her spine, the strength in her shoulders, letting the silence build between us.
"Good," I murmured. "Hold still. I want to see everything before we start."
She looked back at me, like she thought I was deliberately staring at her body for the sole purpose of enjoyment. She was right.
That faint, defiant look only made me want to tease her more.
"Is that how you look at your master?" I called her out plainly.
Then my attention turned to the other girls.
"I'm sure every one of you has noticed it. You've grown stronger just by following my advice on how to refine your fighting styles."
I let that sink in before finishing, steady and unapologetic. "So don't assume there's any ill intent here. Everything I do has a reason."
"Or do you want me to stop teaching all of you altogether?"
Rhea stepped forward.
"Master—Ace, please don't be angry," she said quickly. "Alexa's just… stubborn. That's all."
She glanced back at her, then met my eyes again. "She really does appreciate everything you've done for us."
"Very well," I said at last. "I'll forgive her."
I paused, just long enough to make it clear my patience wasn't endless.
"But from now on, I don't want to hear any complaints. Not one. Or I will kick all of you for real."
The room went quiet.
Then I turned my attention back Alexa.
"It's time to take our training to another level."
I knelt behind her and placed my palm against her bare back.
"Breathe in," I commanded.
As the energy flowed into her lungs, I caught it mid-cycle and redirected it, guiding it carefully through her lower dantian.
Slowly, I worked at the blockage in her meridians, easing it open bit by bit.
It was faster this way—and safer.
More importantly, it kept my cultivation art hidden.
I kept my hand steady as I guided the energy onward, completing the cycle.
The flow traveled lower, following the natural pathways of the body before reaching her private parts.
She blushed, heat rising to her ears, doing her best to stay composed as unfamiliar sensations sparked deep within her slit.
"Don't resist," I said calmly.
"Just breathe, and let me handle the rest. Trust me—I won't do anything to hurt you." I leaned close, my lips brushing her ear as I whispered, and it made her more ticklish.
