Currently, my lower and middle dantians were at their maximum. The only way to push further was to breakthrough again.
Unfortunately, that meant working on my upper one, right between my eyebrows.
Unlike the lower and middle , which just required enough Qi, the upper dantian was tied to the mind. It demanded some form of enlightenment.
Easier said than done—especially for someone like me, who had gotten this strong by cheating.
In its simplest explanation, enlightenment was the state every martial artist reached after reaching certain accolades in their cultivation through decades of hardship, discipline, and mastery.
Things I knew very little about.
I closed my eyes and decided not to overthink it.
Surely, facing a life-or-death situation would trigger it… hopefully.
When I checked my watch, the time was 7:00 pm. I decided to check on my girls.
First stop: Claire. She was settling in nicely at the clinic, having dinner with her coworkers and the doctor in charge—a pretty woman, by the way.
Weirdly, the entire clinic was staffed with women.
I made a mental note to ask HR about that. Sure, I was all for gender equality, but I also wanted my guild members taken care of properly.
And frankly—there was a reason nursing was dominated by women and doctors by men.
"Guild Leader." The doctor in charge bowed her head. Her name tag read: Anna.
"Good evening, Doctor Anna."
"Why are you here? Do you need any medical assistance?" she asked with a polite tone.
"No, I just wanted to grab Claire for dinner," I clarified, a small smirk tugging at my lips.
My words made all the employees glance her way. Rumors had been swirling that we were dating. Me showing up only confirmed it.
"Claire, don't keep our guild leader waiting," Anna spoke up. "Don't worry about it. We barely have anything to do right now."
She bowed her head, looking embarrassed, but still followed me out of the clinic.
We headed to the elevator, ascending to the eighth floor, where I set up a private, exclusive area.
When the elevator doors opened, we walked a few meters until we reached a pair of mahogany double doors. .
Pushing them open revealed a wide, luxurious space, like something out of a high-end apartment.
A living room sat before us, and off to the side, the dining area faced a mirrored wall, separated only by a huge glass window that opened onto a long balcony.
At the long table, people were already seated, being served the finest dishes money could buy.
Ellie, Ella, Alice , and Sophia sat together. I transferred them here for better protection,
They were living comfortably here, but in my opinion, the building was starting to feel cramped. I needed something bigger for my future wives.
Unfortunately, most of the surrounding structures were owned by either multi-billion-dollar corporations who were not lacking in money or Mythical. Options were limited.
Even though both Mythical and Dark Rock hadn't made a move after that strange meeting, with 'Darkness' Representative, I still kept my guard up.
Sometimes calm and quite meant I was right in the eye of the storm.
Dinner went on, followed by some group activities that left everyone drained after hours of actions.
Me? I still had too much energy. I headed back up to my office to continue cultivating.
That's when I saw Hai-Min standing on my office door.
"It's already midnight. Aren't you going to sleep?" I asked.
Her room was in the employee quarters—I kept her a little distance from me for my own sake, at least until her birthday.
"I... I can't sleep." she sighed.
This was why having a lot of women in my life was difficult. They required constant attention—whether as lovers or just friends.
"Let's talk inside. I'll make you a glass of milk to help you sleep."
Her eyes lit up. "Yes. I want to drink big brother's milk."
I don't know why, but it sounded very wrong.
Not long after we were sitting on the sofa, facing the city skyline.
I sipped my coffee, and, as promised, she got almond milk in hand.
We chatted, and before I knew it, she was asleep on my lap.
Her sleeping face was irresistible.
'Not good!'
I hurriedly carried her to the bedroom and tucked her in under a blanket.
As for me, I went to a corner and began cultivating, trying to clear my mind of human desires—they were jumping out far too vividly right now.

3 Days later
Today, the plaza out front of our guild building was unrecognizable. Barricades lined the streets.
Security teams in black suits stood shoulder to shoulder, eyes constantly moving.
Drones hovered overhead, their soft hum blending with the noise of the crowd.
Report vans clogged the avenues, logos plastered across their sides.
Cables snaked over the pavement like roots, feeding into temporary stages and lighting rigs.
And the people.
Civilians packed in behind the barriers, phones already raised. Influencers livestreamed before anything even happened, narrating theories, hyping speculation, soaking in the attention.
It was all thanks to my thousand bot accounts, spewing nonsense across every corner of the net.
When DEGEN Guild dropped the post declaring
"The NEW ERA is here," it didn't just land—it flooded.
I been thinking about how to elevate my guild's reputation faster, climbing the ladder until we sat shoulder-to-shoulder with the top-tier organizations.
And all of it required time, effort—resources I had no intention of wasting for no reason.
I'm done playing by the rules. Now that I'm strong enough, it's time to hit the pedal—0 to 300.
On the open flatform, I walked toward the podium and smile to everyone.
"Wow, this is incredible," I looked at the cameras. "Just a month ago, we were celebrating the foundation of DEGEN Guild, and now—here I am again, talk about craving for attention."
I paused, allowing the crowd laughed at my joke.
"But hey, no worries—my guild can survive for years with just my piggybank. Who knew being overfunded could be this beneficial."
The crowd laughed, and I let the energy do the rest.
Then I cleared my throat , tone dropping just enough to be taken seriously.
"But joking aside, I want to thank everyone for coming. Because right now, I'm about to announce something that will change the game."
"DEGEN Guild is stepping into the limelight—and trust me, this will be a day to remember."
