SSS Cosmic Policing System: Overpowered Cop's Odyssey

Chapter 115: Disgracefully Retreat Of The Trespassers

Riding against the currents of the wind, Roy's silent blades simmered with dangerous glints.

In a second he was before Haron. The poor Lord had recovered somewhat, but unfortunately he could only swerve his eyeballs.

He had the opportunity to see his foe arrive before his plummeting physique, but he could do nothing to react.

He stared, for the first time horror clouding his eyes, as Roy came — his blades swinging in a disastrous flurry.

Sharp bursts of pain filled his body. He lost control of all movements, but pain he could feel well.

The cold blades dug into his flesh and muscles, leaving bone-deep lacerations all over — even his neck, his head, his bowels were all carved into.

Pain flooded his brain as blades dug into his organs and skull, his mind muddled as the blade sliced deep into his skull, reaching for his brain matter.

Though it takes time to explain, the actions were performed in a split second. From a spectator's view, Roy had merely streaked past his figure, and Haron had morphed into a bloodied meat bag.

Eyes focused, streaming through the air with purpose, Roy went for his next prey.

His bloodied blades hungry for more blood, Lux helpless could only move his eyeballs, spectating his foe approaching.

His force of Domination simmered in the depths of his being, struggling against the forceful sudden paralysis.

Why would his body follow the orders of his foe? Didn't that mean he was the one being dominated?!

He raged, his energy following suit and erupting out of the shackles. He had broken free… well, not completely.

Roy arrived, his blades slicing through armor gaps and other vulnerabilities. Blood bubbled in Lux's mouth.

He was free, but he still needed time to achieve full movement.

Everyone across the territory froze and stared at the skies as blood rained.

The allies, the foes — all froze in shock.

Just like that, two well-capable Lords of terrifying prowess were defeated… and if care wasn't taken, they would be killed!

Roy curved in the wind, streaking down, right on the tails of his plummeting foes.

Lux shivered, the smell of death filling his lungs. He dared not hesitate, every shred of complacency banished from his mind.

His armor thrummed with power as he streaked for his unconscious, bleeding ally.

Taking hold of Haron's ankle, his armor burst into a brilliant light as his figure streaked out of sight faster than a blink.

Back on the surface, the others — Larry, heavily injured Lana, and Merkan — didn't waste time in following suit to escape.

Face that guy? Who were they kidding? They were weaker than both Haron and Lux when it came to combat, so their fate if caught by the enemy Lord was quite clear and certain.

Using all sorts of trump cards, each escaped using various means. Some tore through expensive talismans.

Others exhausted one-time-use items. And Merkan, using his poisonous ability, performed a miraculous feat — spitting out a torrent of corrosive acid so potent space melted, and he hopped into the damaged space.

The nine Lords below watched all this play out, stunned for a while.

Before some began chuckling self-deprecatingly, as they stared at Roy's regal form.

It turned out their help wasn't needed…

Roy landed onto the ground gently, his armor seeping back into his pores, revealing a fully healed arm.

His complexion by now had gone quite blue, around his eyes dark circles and a heavy eye bag resting beneath.

His frame trembled, and his skin was now all of a sudden clinging tightly to bone, revealing a gaunt frame.

Releasing raspy breaths, his arms rested on his knees for balance.

"Fuck, that armor is really too much!"

The legendary armor drank on his ether with greedy relish at an unforgiving pace, and when Genesis ether units clasped, the armor clung tightly, drinking from his blood.

His frame shivered. That thing was too dangerous. Not only could he not wield it for a long time due to ether limits, the backlash left him too weak to do anything after.

Woof!

A familiar bark rang out from the side as the sound of paws pounding the soil sounded.

His pale lips stretched into a weak smile…

"Hi buddy. Long time no see, huh."

Alpha's figure pounced onto Roy, the poor Lord collapsing helplessly.

Following which he was baptized by a wet, sticky crimson tongue, his bones rattling with each lick.

Roy couldn't resist Alpha's excited greetings.

Following which the rest of the uninjured captains gathered.

Lionel and his fellow newcomer captain Noir stared at their Lord with gazes filled with curiosity.

"Master, hold on. Trion has been summoned, he will come heal you all up."

Ashley consoled, as she knelt beside her Lord, placing his head on her tender laps.

From the back, the nine Lords felt quite awkward. They had arrived valiantly in an attempt to save Roy from what they perceived to be trouble too much for him to handle, all for it to turn out that they weren't needed.

Now they were left standing alone, not quite sure what to do here…

Well, except for one. Lord Jane, clad in a luminant green gown, stepped forward carrying herself with a soothing and delicate air.

"Instead of waiting, why don't I help." Her soothing voice rang out.

And the captains didn't hesitate, parting ways for the Lady Lord.

She arrived before Roy, getting on her knees and placing a pair of tender pale palms on his abdomen.

Her hair billowed as a green glow brimmed through each strand… a vibrant force suddenly thrummed in the atmosphere.

Changes started occurring across the terrain damaged from the clash, as greenery sprouted, flowers blooming that instant.

A refreshing scent of fauna and fragrance of flowers filled the air, as energy of life traveled from her arms straight into Roy's body.

The nano-bionic bots fed from this energy, his blood drank greedily from the energy, even his bones greedily sucked.

Color slowly returned to his body, as his well-sculpted muscles reformed, his gaunt shell inflating.

Jane still didn't halt, continuing to supply green force into Roy, making sure that even hidden tears and damaged organs drank to their fill and were fully healed.

A green mist puffed from Roy's nostrils as his eyes fluttered open, only to be met with the sight of the gorgeous face of Jane, and the flowy cadence clinging to her frame.

Giving her the look as though she was the goddess of the forest herself.

"Thank you…" Roy managed to muster words of appreciation.

Jane smiled, this slight gesture making one's heart flutter.

"It's no problem, Esteemed Lord… We are here to seek you audience after all."
