Back at Roy's territory…
Richard and the others were being attended to by the legendary healer hero Trion, and were still in fast recovery.
As for the damage made outside the Aegis, it was being fixed.
Meanwhile, the Lords, the lord of the territory himself, and the rest of the inner circle members unharmed were all at the very top floor of the Cosmic Police Station.
Within the conference room…
"I see you don't cease to surprise… Reminds me of the time we ventured the dungeon." Vera smoothed out the atmosphere with reminiscence.
Roy, now fully healed, smiled helplessly.
"And I see you still have that cunning merchant glint in your eyes."
Vera's smile widened.
"Good, then you know why we are here, and why I brought my companions."
Roy nodded.
"Seeing as they are all Lords, they should be your allies… But honestly, I'm flattered as well as ashamed. Having such esteemed guests, I should have prepared a banquet of sorts."
Vera snorted smugly.
"At least you know your faults…"
Seeing the easygoing atmosphere between the two Lords, the subordinates on Roy's side and the allies on Vera's side were influenced.
The air became less tense and more bright, some of the Lords letting out a sigh of relief.
With the prowess Roy showed, it wouldn't be a miracle if he was a cocky, pompous individual filled with more pride than respect.
But thankfully things weren't so — Roy seemed easygoing and kind…
"Good, then let me formally introduce everyone, myself included."
Roy's eyes glistened as he smiled. Vera was sharp enough to perceive how highly Roy cared for his subordinates, so she decided to introduce herself so they could know her.
"I am Vera, the Lord of Trades and Merchants. My territory is known as the Merchant Paradise. I have the duty of establishing potential trade across the entirety of Arcana…
Then there's Noelle, the Lord of Fortune and Luck. Her territory is probably the strongest among our ranks due to the absurd blessings of luck she seems to carry wherever she goes."
A lady with brown hair, gray eyes, and dressed in embroidered robes perked up as she was being introduced, her chest puffed up and head held high.
Roy's gaze focused on her as he thought, his eyes bright with greed.
"With a friend like that, the Gacha function would actually be fun, not as gut-wrenching and depressing as it was meant to…"
Vera pointed to the next, a chubby man with dark hair and plain brown eyes.
"This is Lord Fin, King of Gourmet and the master tasked with making dishes right and taste good. He has a good share of restaurants across several territories…"
Roy glanced at the Lord in a curious light. Vera had told him all Lords in her circle were First-Class Order Bearers. Did that mean this guy's gourmet-related Order was also First-Class? Curious.
She pointed to the next.
"This is Lord Roderick, Master of Contracts and Oaths. He is the one I told you about. With him here, all agreements can never be broken… well, without repercussions.
He is a well-known master, mostly sought after across several territories to fashion worthy oaths and witness fair contracts. He has office branches for this across almost all territories in this land."
Roy gazed at the robust, hairy man, his hair rough and brown with pristine yellow pupils, with solemn interest, as they each gave each other a mutual respectful nod.
Then Vera moved to a familiar face, the lady in green.
"This is Lady Jane, the Lord of Green, a respectful Lord. Her reach is vast.
She is in charge of alchemy, fauna, and farming. She has countless shops and farms in and out of territories."
Roy smiled and once more nodded in appreciation towards the Lady Lord who healed him. She also nodded back in return.
"This is Master Henry, Lord of Craft and our master forger. Master Henry has numerous forges across territories."
Roy moved his gaze to the muscular, shirtless, bronze-skinned man, and they both gave each other a greeting nod.
"Then there is Master Brandon, the… um… to put this… the gambling enthusiast, master holding numerous gambling houses across territories."
Roy glanced at the man — slim physique, long scattered blonde hair with a rough beard and enchanting green eyes. Brandon waved at Roy, who nodded awkwardly in return.
"Then this is Master Jared, the most reclusive of us all, but the most loaded. He is the Master of Wealth, owns no business but funds all of ours…" Vera explained with a slight embarrassed blush.
Roy nodded at the bold-looking man, who also gave a nod in response.
Vera smiled.
"Finally, we have Lord Sonia, the mistress in charge of transportation services far and wide, the head mistress in charge of the messaging and transport empire."
After the introductions, she sat with a heavy sigh, turning her gaze towards Roy's side in expectation.
Roy smiled. It seemed it was his turn for introduction.
"Once again, greetings fellow esteemed Lords. I am Roy, the master of this land, and also the Cosmic Police Chief, head of the Cosmic Policing Force, and bearer of the Order of Justice.
You sit in the headquarters of my very own military force."
His smile widened as he examined the stunned expressions of the Lords before him.
Suddenly he felt content — at least he too had clout.
…..
Far away from the troubles of the lands of territory and strife, above the tempests and the storms, an ethopia sat on the sea of clouds, lush, brimming with life and energy.
This was the territory of one of the Supremes, the one residing above the continent Roy and the others laid.
The Supreme Sovereign — Alexander the Great III.
On his territory, lush medieval cities and villages thrived, smiles rampant across faces of children and adults alike.
Peace reigned across, and life was lively. People who spawned across this land really had it easy. They didn't have to experience the scary fate of those below.
They didn't have to face the horrors of Arcana. Instead, they spawned into a well-civilized kingdom. Order reigned, and fighters were as rampant as trees and plants.
Their king was as high and immeasurable as the sky and heavens itself. Blessed they truly were.
Within the capital city of the kingdom, a luxurious and transcendent construct scaled across the heavens.
And in the heart of this castle, in the chambers of the king…
A man, his presence divine and commanding, stood facing the windows, gazing across his kingdom.
Though it seemed like he was watching his people, his eyes scaled farther, watching something he found more interesting.
"An Order of Justice… Such profound military troops… Interesting." A reckless grin grew on his face, highlighted by a row of glistening white teeth.
