Li Si went on a shopping trip to the supermarket. She bought vegetables, fruit, and an assortment of dried nuts and snacks, filling a shopping cart to the brim.

"Two grown men living together... I know things should be simple, but this is too simple," Li Si muttered to herself after paying. "Even the refrigerator is empty. How are they supposed to live like this?"

She had only spent a short time at Chen Yang's place the other day. But being as observant as she was, she'd noticed that the refrigerator was empty. In fact, aside from basic necessities, the entire house was bare. After secretly making a copy of his key, she decided to go grocery shopping for him.

Leaving the supermarket, she considered calling Chen Yang but ultimately decided against it. Her plan was to give that guy Chen Yang a surprise after she finished cooking the meal.

Yu Yang's gaze fell on the shopping bags on the passenger seat. "Well, look at all this," he mocked. "Planning on moving in together? Building a little love nest?"

"It's none of your damn business! Get out of my way!" Li Si snapped, her face dark.

Yu Yang laughed. "Li Si, you don't actually think I came here just to chat, do you?"

Startled, Li Si hurriedly tried to roll up her window.

SMACK.

Yu Yang's hand shot out, stopping the window. He yanked the car door open, his expression turning grim. "Who do you think you're kidding, putting on an act in front of me?"

As he spoke, Yu Yang dragged Li Si out of the car and grabbed her by the hair. "You're so pretty, but you must be blind! Ignoring an outstanding guy like me for a piece of trash?"

"Let go of me!" Li Si screamed.

Yu Yang ignored her and turned to one of his subordinates. "Have you found out where that little piece of trash is right now?"

"We found him. He's at the Yuehua Hotel having dinner."

"Excellent." Yu Yang nodded, then turned back to Li Si. "Let's go. We'll go see him together."

"I'm still debating... should I kill him in front of you, or should I humiliate you in front of him?"

"Why don't you help me decide?"
