Lewd System: Every Scream and Moan is EXP

Chapter 139: New Mess I Stepped Into

Jax looked at Maya.

"So how did you end up here?"

She sighed.

"It's a bit complex. Remember when I left for a girls' night at my friend's house that evening?"

Jax nodded.

"Well, we were having our fun. Everything was normal. Until suddenly it became hard to breathe. Then I passed out."

She paused.

"But I wasn't dead. When I opened my eyes, I found myself on the ground. Surrounded by maids. It was really confusing at first."

She gestured at herself.

"But as I learned more, acted more, I realized I had transmigrated into another world. Into this body."

Jax looked at her current form. Masha. Long dark hair. Sharp features. A face that was ethereal and pretty.

"Then I found out whose body I was in." Maya continued. "A girl whose parents were the world's powerhouses. My mother was The Arbiter-General. My father was The Grand Marshal."

She smiled at the memory.

"It was like living as royalty. And yeah, that Harry? He was my brother in this life."

Jax listened silently.

"Life was really awesome, you know? Wake up, servants dress you up, dress you down. Then the food."

Her eyes lit up.

"Brother, the food. Mountains of it. Every meal was a feast. Dishes I couldn't even name. Flavors I didn't know existed. It was like dying and going to foodie heaven every single day."

She made a dreamy face.

"And then high school. Walking in like a celebrity. A queen bee. Everyone knew my name. Everyone wanted to be near me."

She did a little laugh. "Hihi."

"The whole day was just luxury. Do anything you want. If you're wrong, money makes it right. I could buy anything in that world."

Her expression darkened slightly.

"I was in my full enjoyment phase. Until that goddamn god pulled us here."

Jax stared at her.

All that fun. All that enjoyment. While he was worried sick about her.

He gave her a sharp gaze.

"And here I was worried about you. Thinking about how you'd be doing back on Earth. Alone. Struggling."

His voice dropped.

"I even thought about using the gift the goddess would give me for winning this game to bring you here. To my world."

Maya caught his tone.

She immediately put on an innocent face. Cute. Apologetic.

She knew exactly how to play around Jaxon.

Jax sighed.

"Speaking of your god, what did they offer you guys? Why were you all so desperate to kill the real humans? And right from the beginning of this game too."

Maya's expression soured.

"That mf god."

She crossed her arms.

"He said if we don't come out on top against Goddess Anesthesia's champions, he won't let us return to our world."

She looked at Jax seriously.

"So if we all fail, we respawn in this stupid world. Can't go back. And worse, we'd be magicless. Just like we were back on the world after Earth."

Jax processed this.

'Now it all makes sense. Why they were so desperate. Why they went this far.'

The only senseless part was their god. Going to such extremes over a rivalry with a goddess. The worlds in their hands were pretty much doomed because of petty divine drama.

Maya looked at him curiously.

"So what about you? How did you end up here?"

Jax shrugged.

"I was playing that ridiculous women domination game. The one you were obsessed with for years. Then bam. I was there."

Maya's eyes glowed.

"You mean Queens of Domination: Rise of Heroines? Right?"

"Ah, yes. That one."

"Bro, you're not joking, right?"

"Why would I?"

"Like, for real?" She leaned closer. "In the game? The same story? Or just a similar world with different everything?"

Jax smirked.

"Same stupid plot. Same heroines. Same side characters. Same queens and CEOs. Everything was the same."

He paused.

"Until I stepped in and wrote it the way I wanted."

Maya stared at him.

Jealousy filled her eyes.

"Lucky bastard." She made a pouty face. "You were always that lucky."

Jax's hand moved.

Middle finger held back by thumb.

Flick.

Right on her forehead.

"Ouch! Ouch!" She grabbed her head.

Jax looked at her flatly.

"How was I lucky? I got teleported to a women-dominating world where men were considered pathetic. You know how hard it was?"

His voice dropped.

"I was used as a toy by Paige. She forced me to fuc—"

He stopped himself.

It wouldn't be appropriate to tell her these things. And definitely not about his system. Or the deeds he had committed.

But Maya didn't catch the hint.

Her mind was fixated elsewhere.

"Paige? You mean Paige Rayne? Mother of the heroine Kiera?"

Her eyes sparkled.

"Did you meet them?!"

Jax stared at her.

'I raised a snake. She doesn't even care about the stuff I went through.'

He sighed.

"Yup. Paige is my new mother. Kiera is my sister."

Maya's jaw dropped.

"What? You— you lucky..."

She couldn't even finish.

"You're the son of a walking ATM?! And Kiera is your sister?!"

She threw her hands up.

"I'm sure now. You took all the luck that was meant for our entire family. God gave you everything and left nothing for the rest of us."

For the next few hours, the siblings talked.

Or rather, Jax talked about his journey. He told her how wrong her assumptions were. How much he had to go through.

Of course, he hid the sex parts. And the system.

He didn't want his sister knowing any of that. So he was really cautious.

But it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

Maya's only interest was in the characters.

"You mean Zinnia? She lost to you three times?"

Jax nodded.

"Why are you acting surprised? Did you think your brother would lose to your favorite character?"

'This fool didn't ask about the bet. If she did, it would be worse.'

"Oh, by the way," Jax added. "Didn't you see them during the war? Most of the heroines were literally there."

Maya went quiet. Thinking. Remembering.

"Shit." Her eyes widened. "I wasn't hallucinating after all."

She slapped her forehead.

"It was hard to tell who they were from that distance. Plus my focus was mostly on you. Then on brainless Harry."

She groaned.

"But I did see someone who looked like Azara. Those tufts and that hair. But you know, people can look the same. I thought I was seeing things."

She looked genuinely upset.

"I missed the opportunity."

Jax waved his hand.

"Don't worry. I'll let you meet them."

Her eyes glowed. "Really?! You will?! Even Zinnia?!"

"Yes. But don't embarrass me in front of them. They have great respect for your brother."

'How much respect?' He thought to himself. 'More than respect, actually.'

Maya nodded eagerly.

Then her expression shifted. Annoyance crept in.

"Speaking of Harry. He was the sole reason we lost to you."

She crossed her arms.

"If he wasn't that foolish, I would have eliminated you. Would have registered my first victory against you."

Jax smiled. "And how would you have done that?"

She hissed.

"If Zoe hadn't manipulated him. Playing with his heart. He would have been in his senses. The result might have been different."

Her face twisted with disgust.

"But nah. That bitch."

Jax cut in.

"Ah, that Zoe. Or Erica girl, huh." He nodded. "I knew she was a puppeteer. Had a leash on Harry the whole time."

Maya rolled her eyes.

"She's always like that. Not in this world. But back on Earth, she used to do the same thing with boys."

Jax froze.

"Earth?"

He looked at her confused.

"Is she another transmigrator?"

Maya gave him a look.

"Dummy, didn't I say Zoe? Or did you forget her name again?"

She said it like it was obvious.

"Zoe. My bestie. The one whose house I went to for that hangout. That evening before I got transmigrated."

She paused.

"We got transmigrated together."

Jax's world stopped.

Zoe.

Maya's best friend.

A transmigrator from Earth.

And what he had done to her.
