"Let's go Little Hong." Grey glanced at the guy for one last time, he looked confused and disoriented.
Now that he had turned into an enemy, he would keep the guy in here. Even if he apologized for the mistake, Grey would not think about letting him go. What if he decided to tell the federation anyway? The last thing he wanted was the federation at his doorstep waiting to apprehend him for false accusations with extremely powerful beings at his door, and at that time not even Little Hong would be able to save him.
And besides, he had other uses as well.
He could use him to comprehend the law of Yin and Yang.
His comprehension was infinitely easier since the other party was at major succession, it would be wasteful if he let him go.
He would suck the guy dry.
Grey coughed when that thought rose in his mind. He should really learn to word things better.
"Did I get Lia's disease?" His eyelids twitched involuntarily.
Either way, he would use him to comprehend the law swiftly.
Aside from simple transformation, he had another goal. He got the inspiration during the time he first saw the law of Hongmeng.
If there was a law related to the gods, then there must be a law related to Nexus.
How could it not have one?
In fact, it would be more bizarre if there wasn't a law about perfection.
His end goal was to find this law and bring it to life, and doing that would require comprehension of other higher laws like the law of chaos and Hongmeng. If there was one thing he understood, everything was connected one way or another, he learned it while comprehending nexus energy and laws sharing the same attributes but different names and functions existed, like the Yin and Yang law and the disorder it created, there was actually a law of disorder that existed separately, meaning there was always a connection.
He just needed to combine these connections together to find the perfection law.
Or if it did not exist, then he would make one for all he cared.
He believed Little Hong might know a thing or two about it, and if he asked her long enough she might remember something about it and tell him how to find it.
Maybe the key in finding this law lay in nexus energy itself.
He waved his hands and immediately a portal appeared, he along with Little Hong stepped in leaving Fedrick behind.
As soon as they left, ten shadows suddenly loomed over him and the temperature around him rose sharply.
"Huh?" Fedrick turned his face around, immediately his face turned green.
"What the f*ck." He screamed.
Ten black infernals with fiery outlines stood in front of him, he looked up at them in terror.
...
"The infernals should keep him under check." Grey laughed. He sent ten of them toward Fedrick to keep him from trying anything and if he did anything, Lia would be instantly aware of it.
Her connection was not like the federation or the Blue Star network after all, if she could summon them from literal hell, what was a simple sub space like his secret realm going to do to stop her connection to the infernals?
Swoosh.
Grey shot through the sky, his figure tearing through the air like a jet before he descended.
He landed directly in front of his mansion.
Pushing the doors open, Grey stepped inside and was immediately surprised.
The usually quiet mansion now had soft melodic laughter echoing throughout the halls, it was the sound of two young women, they seemed to be chatting and laughing with each other.
Could it be Lia invited someone in?
He walked into the living room and saw who the culprit was. It was none other than Valeria.
She sat close to Lia as they chatted away.
"Yeah, I like that dress." Lia nodded with a smile. "It is very comfy to wear, I can wear it when I am training too."
"Great. Then it is decided." Valeria clapped her hands together with a smile. "Us sisters will go shopping, since your clothes are back in Nova City, we should naturally buy you more clothes since you are staying here."
Lia nodded.
Grey stood by the side with Little Hong holding onto his hand.
Grey cleared his throat with a soft cough, the sound echoing faintly through the quiet hall as he tried to draw their attention.
The two figures instantly turned toward him. The moment their eyes landed on Grey, matching smiles bloomed across both their faces, bright, relieved, and far warmer than he expected after barging in unannounced.
Lia on the other hand was calm, she roughly understood what went on inside the secret realm, the expert was completely sealed and the infernals were ordered to guard him.
"You are back." Valeria rose to her feet. Beside her, Lia quickly followed, standing up in sync.
Then her eyes settled on Little Hong, who upon seeing her immediately hurried toward her.
"Little Hong, did you behave?" Lia asked with a smile. She gently raised a hand and patted her with a smile.
Even though she was not her daughter, the connection they had was more meaningful than anything.
"Un." Little Hong nodded. "Me and Grey defeated the bad guy."
"Good." Lia shifted her attention back to Grey.
"It must have been the federation expert." Valeria spoke softly, she had already seen the AV and as someone from the floating cities, it did not take long for her to identify that.
"That is indeed the case." Grey replied absent mindedly as he stared intently at Lia. "I already took care of him, I sealed him inside the secret realm. Lia should have already told you about it."
Valeria nodded.
"But wait. What is wrong with you?" Grey turned to Lia and asked speechlessly.
Her hair and eye color were now back to purple.
How was that possible?
"Erm... Do you have an RGB controller built inside you?" Grey asked with twitching lips.
And to his disbelief, Lia actually nodded at him.
"I only just discovered it," Lia said helplessly. "I was bored waiting for you to return from the meeting, and since I cannot cultivate right now, I ended up experimenting with my own powers."
Immediately her hair highlights and eye color started changing colors, white, red, blue, green, yellow, orange, brown, black, purple, pink, you name it.
It shifted through each color before reverting back to her purple.
Grey undoubtedly liked her original purple highlight, it was better than the golden.
And it looked like Lia shared the same opinion as well.
"Alright, now that you know sister Lia's cool ability to change her hair and eye color, it is time us sisters go out for some shopping."
"Sisters...?" Grey was confused.
"That is right. Lia is my sister from now on." Valeria held onto Lia's hands with a smile.
"Okay..." Grey said awkwardly.
"Perfect. Let's go for a girls' shopping trip, shall we, Sister Lia?" Valeria added, shooting Grey a look. "You aren't invited. Brother Grey, this is a day out for just us girls."
"I never said I wanted to come." Grey was caught between tears and laughter when he heard this.
