Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 207: Climb on

"Okay, now, with that done, how about we try to fix your condition?"

"My condition?" Lia nodded.

She could not cultivate as of now because the divine energy would go out of control and it was taking a toll on her meridians, but Grey had told her that there was a cure to it.

"What is the cure Grey?"

"The cure huh?" Grey thought for a moment and spoke. "There is no immediate cure to it."

"No immediate cure?" Lia was slightly disappointed.

The more time it took to be fixed, the less time she cultivated and increased her powers.

"That's right, no immediate cure. Your condition, to put it shortly, is related to developmental stage."

"Developmental stage?"

"Yes. Developmental stage. The reason you cannot fully control divine energy is due to your sudden transformation, the energy is not your normal one, it is actually more than one energy fused together, it has attributes of those two energies combined. To a single energy user, it will be extremely hard to control it, in fact, you might even need to start learning to control the energy since infancy to fully control it."

"What?" Lia was stunned, there was too much information coming at her all together, however what stunned her even more was the fact about two energies.

"Two energies? Divine energy is the combination of two energies?"

"That's right." Grey broke apart Nexus energy and took out the emerging patterns of true origin energy and cosmic energy.

"Cosmic energy and this energy?" Lia was dumbfounded. "This feels similar to something... Alissa?"

The energy utilized by Alissa was extremely similar to the one in Grey's right hand!

"Correct. It is the energy utilized by Alissa."

"And once you combine these two energies..." Grey shot the two sources of energy toward each other and immediately attached their energy patterns together, and divine energy was formed.

Golden light shone across the room.

Lia fell deadly silent when she saw this.

What the fck.

"G...Grey you can use divine energy?" Lia almost felt as if she was trapped in an illusion.

The power that was precisely being controlled by Grey, it was divine energy.

How was he effortlessly controlling it?

She remembered the words of Little Hong, she called Grey her father, could it actually be true that he was someone who was her father, the father of the powerful axe that appeared in her dreams?

How else was he controlling all these energies so effortlessly? it should not be normally possible at all!

"I mean, if you ask me that way, I can indeed use divine energy." Grey shrugged. "But I have no need for it."

"..." Lia did not know what to say anymore.

Divine energy, she knew its importance more than anyone and yet he casually said he could use it and even that he had no use for it.

But on the other hand, it made sense, he held a superior energy that seemed to surpass even the divine energy utilized by the apex beings, the gods themselves.

But what surprised her even more were the energies.

Her divine energy was actually the combination of the energy Alissa utilized and cosmic energy.

This was an extremely shocking fact to know and Alissa actually used one portion of her divine energy already.

What did this imply?

It meant Alissa was not simply as she seemed.

How did she survive Evan's master's power either way?

She and Lia were the only ones who survived it after all, she already had her doubts about it.

"Grey, what is Alissa?" Lia could not help but ask.

"What is Alissa?" Grey was silent for a moment then shook his head. "That, you have to ask her yourself. I cannot say anything, she has not told me anything about it herself."

"So, you don't know about what she is?" Lia tilted her head.

How could that be? The all knowing Grey not knowing something was rather hard to believe.

"I know what she is, but I can't tell you about it." Grey shook his head.

While he trusted Lia, he also wanted to keep Alissa's secret. A True Dragon, it was something very complex, unless she mentioned it to Lia herself, he would not reveal it to anyone.

'Of course he knows' Lia said with twitching lips.

He was someone who found out her status as a god without her telling anything, why wouldn't he be able to do the same to his own sister?

"Forget it then. I will ask her myself." Lia shook her head softly.

"Then, going back to the topic." Grey casually swirled the divine energy in his hand and sent it toward Lia.

The crystalline cores within her reacted abruptly and the divine energy was directly absorbed.

"What we need to do is make you control the energy. Like I said before, doing it will be extremely hard for a normal person, they would have to start training from infancy."

"But," Grey paused. "You are not exactly a normal person. You are special."

"..." Lia's face turned ashen when she heard him.

Why was she being called special right now?

"Oh. I didn't mean it that way." Grey chuckled dryly.

"What I meant is that you have the special physique, the Endless Potential physique is not limited to just comprehending sword energy and advancing without bottlenecks." Grey explained. "The physique allows you to draw out potential for use which is endless, so, in theory, if you wished hard enough, you will form enough potential and talent to learn energy control in a week or two."

"But how will I do that, if I can only control it for a few short moments?" Lia was worried, if she tried to overdo things then her meridians would swell up uncontrollably.

"You don't have to worry about that." Grey shook his head with a smile. "I will help you learn to control the energy by guiding my energy inside your energy channels to keep it under control, if it shows signs of going haywire then I can swiftly control it. You can also cultivate that way, I just need to be close to you at the time you cultivate."

He thought for a moment and spoke. "Alright now, climb onto the bed."

"...." Lia's face reddened slightly.
