Information, guidance, and the inner workings of the law surfaced within Grey's mind one after another as he was drawn into the sudden enlightenment state. The process came without warning, but it was hardly something to complain about.

This enlightenment allowed him to comprehend the Spatial Law in a single stride.

Spatial Law at the age of seventeen, while still being a second ranker.

Under normal circumstances, someone at his level would not even be able to perceive a law. Even with his unrivaled comprehension, such perception should have been impossible.

Forget spatial currents.

He would not even be able to sense the space around him itself.

This was the difference between a second ranker and a fourth.

Higher ranked evolvers could sense traces of the Spatial Law directly from the atmosphere. Their awareness far surpassed that of lower ranks. To them, even a single falling leaf could contain insight into the workings of nature and the world.

To lower ranked evolvers, it was nothing more than an ordinary leaf.

Perspective dictated everything.

Fortunately for Grey, he possessed a secret realm.

Through his repeated use of it, especially by opening portals to the secret realm, he had been accumulating fragments of insight into the Spatial Law without realizing it. Each opening of a portal was essentially the act of tearing reality apart, creating a passage into the sub dimensional space of Blue Star's first layer.

Those repeated interactions left behind traces.

Now, as he observed the expansion of the secret realm, the clear distinction between the world boundary and the chaotic spatial currents beyond it struck him deeply. That moment of clarity triggered a rare enlightenment, allowing him to leap across a barrier that should have taken far longer to cross.

It could be called coincidence.

Even if Grey had spent days and nights deliberately comprehending the law, it would have taken at least a month to reach this point. Yet this enlightenment allowed him to cross the threshold directly.

Gradually, the influx of information settled.

Grey opened his eyes.

By now, his vision had completely cleared. There was no longer any confusion about what had happened or why the world had fragmented into nodes within his sight. As he emerged from the enlightened state, all turbulence within his thoughts faded, replaced by calm clarity.

"I actually achieved enlightenment?" Grey smiled wryly.

This state could allow someone to comprehend almost anything, provided the condition was suitable, much like what Grey had just experienced.

Naturally, enlightenment was exceedingly rare.

Only individuals with immense talent were capable of entering such a state, and even then, doing so consistently was almost unheard of.

So far, Grey had never personally known anyone who had achieved enlightenment.

As the thought lingered, another idea surfaced in his mind.

Grey froze for a brief moment, startled by his own conclusion.

The next instant, his ability reacted.

So he had been right.

The information layer contained the answers to everything. That naturally included his own unique and perfect energy, Nexus energy.

Where else could enlightenment originate from?

This so called enlightened state was simply the result of evolvers with exceptional talent, or those possessing a special frequency or signal, temporarily connecting to a specific segment of the information layer and accessing it.

As for how such a connection formed, especially one aligned with an individual's intent, Grey believed it was related to willpower.

At higher levels, willpower was no longer an abstract concept. Some espers had theorized that it could be actively utilized. It was tied closely to the mystery of the soul, though Grey himself knew little about that subject.

The soul remained unexplored in the early stages of evolution. Even fourth rankers barely touched upon it. Because of that, Grey could not draw any firm conclusions regarding willpower or the soul.

What he did understand was simple.

The soul contained all of one's information.

It defined identity.

That included special physiques.

For example, Lia's physique. It was evident that she was a reincarnated goddess. When she reincarnated, her physique manifested alongside her existence.

Perhaps comprehending Lia's physique would provide insight into the nature of the soul.

That thought was set aside for later.

Returning to willpower, it was said that once one reached a certain level, willpower could be materialized and used directly as a form of attack. Grey did not know when such a stage would be reached, but one thing was certain.

Willpower and one's train of thought shaped reality itself.

The act of bypassing layers of restriction to achieve enlightenment, forming a connection with a specific node of information within the information layer, was unlikely to be coincidence. It was most likely deeply tied to willpower.

Those with immense talent or special constitutions simply skipped the process entirely and entered enlightenment directly.

The realization settled.

Once more, his ability responded.
