"Crack! Crack! Crack!"

The demon's back split open, flesh tearing like fabric. From the wounds, three additional pairs of arms erupted, each one fully formed and functional. Combined with the original pair, the demon now had eight arms total.

Its blade-wings spread wide, each feather-blade now completely covered in dark flames.

The combined demon floated in the air, its five heads moving simultaneously as it clenched its eight arms flexing them experimentally. The pressure radiating from its body was intense.

Half-Step Fiendgod!

Just one step below Fiendgod realm!

Levi felt that pressure crushing down on him from nearly a kilometer away.

His danger sense was going absolutely berserk.

Luna also felt the entire pressure from his inner pockets and she couldn't help but claw out uncomfortable as she pressed against him.

Then all five of the demon's heads suddenly turned.

Ten blood burning red eyes all locked onto a single target.

A demonic voice emerged from all five mouths simultaneously, the sounds overlapping in a horrifying voice:

"You. Are. All. DEAD."

But the demon wasn't looking at everyone.

It was looking specifically at Levi.

"BOOM!"

Before anyone could react, the demon moved!

It didn't fly, it didn't jump and neither did its feet moved, the demon actually teleported, tearing through space itself. One moment it was in the sky near Aldric, the next moment the very fabric of reality ripped open right beside Levi!

Levi's danger sense barely gave him a split-second warning!

His body moved on pure instinct, activating everything at once.

"Divine Tiger Thunder Might! Golden Blood Explosion! Crimson Thunder Step!"

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

Three techniques activated simultaneously!

His body expanded as he transformed, white fur erupting from his skin, fangs extending from his jaw. At the same time, one of his precious golden Astra energy drops detonated inside his body, flooding his meridians with overwhelming power. And finally, crimson lightning exploded beneath his feet, propelling him sideways at speeds that broke the sound barrier!

"BOOM!"

Levi transformed into a bolt of crimson lightning, leaving a perfect afterimage where he'd been standing!

The demon's massive clawed hand swept through that afterimage, the attack so powerful it carved a five-meter-deep trench through the ground. The shockwave alone demolished three nearby buildings, reducing them to dust!

But Levi had dodged, barely.

The demon's eyes smiled a predatory smile as it tracked Levi's movement instantly.

"Crack!"

Space tore open directly in front of Levi's new position!

This time, Levi wasn't fast enough to completely dodge. The demon's claw swept horizontally, its speed so great it created a visible arc of compressed air.

Levi twisted desperately, bringing his Severing Abyss saber up to block,

"CLANG!"

The impact sent shockwaves radiating outward in perfect circles, pulverizing the ground beneath Levi's feet. His blade held for a microsecond before the force sent him flying backward like a missile!

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Levi's body tore through three stone walls before finally slamming to a halt against a cliff face, embedding himself two meters into solid rock. The impact crater spread out in spiderweb patterns, chunks of stone falling away.

Blood spurted from Levi's mouth. His ribs were fractured, his left arm dislocated, and deep claw marks had torn through his combat suit to rake across his shoulder and neck.

Even as the system notifications appeared, Levi's Regeneration ability kicked in.

Steam rose from his wounds as flesh knitted back together, bones started to rest themselves with audible Cracks, and damaged organs began regenerating.

But it wasn't fast enough.

The demon was already moving, its massive form creating sonic booms as it flew toward him with eight arms spread wide, each claw glowing with destructive energy.

"LEVI! MOVE!"

Aldric's voice boomed across the battlefield, amplified by Astra energy.

At the same time, the number-one student's hands blurred through complex seals. Ice energy erupted from his body in overwhelming quantities, condensing into a massive technique.

"Frozen Domain: Eternal Winter's Grasp!"

"WHOOOOSH!"

A wave of absolute zero temperature exploded outward from Aldric's position, covering a two-hundred-meter radius in an instant. Everything within that range froze solid, the ground turned to ice, the air crystallized into glittering particles, even the light seemed to slow down.

The expanding frost wave slammed into the demon's back just as it was about to reach Levi!

"Crack! Crack! Crack!"

Ice spread across the demon's body, trying to encase it in a crystalline prison. The creature's movements slowed dramatically as the supernatural cold invaded its muscles and joints.

But the demon was far too powerful for such a simple technique to fully restrain it.

Its bull head released a roar that created visible shockwaves! The sound itself shattered the ice forming on its body, fragments exploding outward like shrapnel.

At the same time, its tiger head opened its mouth and breathed out a stream of hellfire that melted the ice beneath its feet, creating a circle of superheated ground that steamed and hissed.

The demon's speed reduced, but it wasn't stopped.

It was just slowed down enough for the other top ten students to finally react.

"EVERYONE, ATTACK!" Aldric roared through the skies. "If Levi dies, that demon will hunt each of us down one by one! Our only chance is working together!"

The remaining top ten students hesitated for only a fraction of a second before launching into action.

The seventh-ranked student, the green-haired girl, slammed her hands against the ground.

"Nature's Fury: Titan's Garden!"

"RUMBLE!"

The earth exploded upward as massive vines erupted from beneath the platform! Each vine was easily ten meters thick, covered in razor-sharp thorns, moving like a serpent in the skies. They wrapped around the demon's legs and waist, arms and chest, trying to bind it in place.

The fourth-ranked student, the one with golden armor, roared as his Astra Soul fully manifested. A massive golden lion appeared behind him, its mane flowing with pure Astra energy. "Sovereign's Roar: Pride's Judgment!"

"ROAAAAAR!"

The lion phantom charged forward and slammed into the demon's side with the force of a meteor impact. The shockwave flattened everything within fifty meters, creating a perfect circle of devastation.

The eighth-ranked student with the greatsword activated his technique. Wind energy condensed around his blade until it grew to over thirty meters long, Crackling with compressed air. "Gale Sovereign Slash!"

"WHOOOOSH!"

He swung the massive wind blade horizontally.

The attack moved so fast it was nearly invisible, creating a vacuum trail that sucked in dust and debris before expelling them as high-speed projectiles.

The blade slammed into the demon's back!

"BOOM!"

More students joined the assault!

The ninth-ranked student created a gravity field that increased the weight pressing down on the demon by fifty times!

The tenth-ranked student, Lucifer Fraust, hurled his twin purple-flame daggers, which multiplied into hundreds of blazing projectiles that rained down like a meteor shower!

A student with earth affinity raised stone pillars that tried to cage the demon!

Another student with lightning affinity called down multiple thunderbolts that struck the demon's heads!

For a moment, the combined assault created a devastating display of power. Explosions overlapped, shockwaves collided and amplified each other, and the entire area was consumed in a maelstrom of elemental fury.

But when the dust cleared, the demon was still standing.

Its body was covered in wounds, burns, cuts, frozen patches, crushed scales, but it was healing. Black blood seeped from its injuries, only to evaporate and be reabsorbed. The damage was regenerating almost as fast as it was being inflicted.

And its five faces were twisted in absolute rage.

"ENOUGH!"

All five heads roared simultaneously!

"BOOM!"

An explosion of demonic energy erupted from the creature's body with such force that it shattered every restraint simultaneously!

The vines wrapped around its limbs disintegrated into ash!

The gravity field pushing down on it reversed, sending the caster flying backward!

The ice encasing its feet exploded into steam!

The shockwave from the demon's power blast sent all the attacking students tumbling backward, several of them coughing blood from internal injuries.

And then the demon's ten eyes, all ten of them, locked onto Levi once more.

"YOU CANNOT, ESCAPE."

"Crack!"

Space tore open again!

This time, the demon emerged directly in front of Levi, who had just extracted himself from the cliff face. There was no distance to cross, no time to dodge, the demon had simply appeared, bypassing space itself.

Its tiger head's jaws opened wide, revealing fangs covered in crimson flames. Hellfire gathered in its throat, building up rapidly before erupting forth into a massive river of flames!

"ROOOAAAAAR!"

A river of flames poured toward Levi!

The heat was so intense that stone melted instantly, turning to flowing lava. The air ignited, creating a secondary firestorm that expanded the attack's range. Even the light itself seemed to burn, creating visual distortions.

Levi's eyes widened!

"Eternal Dome!"

"WENG!"

A golden barrier erupted around Levi's body, forming a perfect hemisphere of crystallized Astra energy.

"BOOM!"

The hellfire collided with the Eternal Dome!

For exactly one-tenth of a second, Levi's barrier held. The golden energy rippled and wavered under the assault, countless Cracks spreading across its surface like a shattering mirror.

Then suddenly, it shattered.

"Crack!"
