I Cultivate 10,000 Times Faster

Chapter 133: [131] Resting And Asura Bloodline!

"Brother, you're scaring me," Lyra said, her voice tight. "What is it?"

Marcus stood slowly, his expression grave as he turned to face the group. "This symbol. It's the mark of the Bloodstorm Bandits."

The name meant nothing to Levi, but the Feng twins' faces went pale.

"The Bloodstorm Bandits?" Kai breathed. "But they operate hundreds of kilometers from here. What would they be doing in this region?"

"Who are the Bloodstorm Bandits?" Levi asked.

Marcus took a deep breath before answering. "They're the most feared bandit organization in the eastern territories. Most bandit groups are just desperate criminals or failed cultivators trying to survive. But the Bloodstorm Bandits are different. They're organized, disciplined, and led by someone truly terrifying."

He pointed at the tattoo on the dead leader's neck. "This symbol is only given to high-ranking members of the organization. Lieutenants and above. And see this?" He pointed at two red drops beneath the tattoo. "Two drops means this man was second-in-command of the entire organization."

"Second-in-command?" Ren's voice was hollow. "Then that means…"

"The real leader is still out there," Marcus finished grimly. "And we just killed his brother."

Silence fell over the group as the implications sank in.

"Tell me about the leader," Levi said quietly. "Everything you know."

Marcus's expression darkened. "His name is Bloodstorm. Nobody knows his real name. He showed up about fifteen years ago and systematically took over every bandit group in the region, killing anyone who wouldn't submit. Within three years, he'd unified them all under his banner."

Levi frowned and asked. "What's his cultivation level.

"Fiend-God realm," Marcus gritted his teeth an spoke. "Fiend-God Realm"

Levi's face changed slightly. Marcus continued.

"Some say he's Peak Fiend-God, possibly even touching the threshold of Star Realm."

A Fiend-God could slaughter Fiend Warriors like sheep. Someone at Peak Fiend-God at the pinnacle of this continent!

"There are rumors," Kai added quietly, "that Bloodstorm was once a student at one of the top ten academies. Golden Phoenix Academy, maybe, or Celestial Sword Sect. But something happened he was expelled or banished for reasons that vary depending on who's telling the story. Some say he killed fellow students. Others claim he practiced forbidden cultivation techniques. Whatever the truth, he became a bandit."

"His talent is terrifying," Ren continued. "A-rank or higher, definitely. And his combat ability is even worse. They say he once fought a team of ten Fiend Warriors sent by the Federation to capture him, and he killed nine of them. The tenth only escaped because Bloodstorm let him go to spread the story."

Lyra's voice was small when she spoke. "And we just killed his brother. His second-in-command."

Marcus said flatly. "Bloodstorm is known for two things, his pettiness and strength. He treats his bandits like family, and he avenges their deaths without mercy. When he finds out what happened here…"

He didn't need to finish. They all understood.

A Peak Fiend-God tracking them. Hunting them. Seeking vengeance.

"The best way to clean a battlefield quickly is fire," Levi said. "If we burn everything hot enough, fast enough, it'll destroy evidence and mask our trail."

Marcus nodded. "Kai, Ren can you set up a controlled wildfire? We need this entire area scorched, but we can't let it spread to the surrounding forest or it'll draw attention."

The twins exchanged glances, then nodded in unison. "We can do it. Give us ten minutes to set it up ."

It wasn't even up to ten minutes before the twins finished everything.

"Ready!" Kai called out.

"Everyone, step back," Ren called out in warning.

The others retreated to a safe distance as the twins started.

"Fwoooosh!"

Flames erupted within the radius of half a kilometer, instantly the temperatures rose so fast as it clocked 5000 degrees in an instant. Even the ground and rocks around melted and alsmot turned it glass!

The fire burned for exactly three minutes, then extinguished as suddenly as it had started, leaving behind only glowing ground and scattered ash that the wind immediately began to disperse.

"Even if Bloodstorm manages to figure out who we are, as long as we are in the academy, the academy should be able to protect us."

"Now. We need to put as much distance as possible between us and this place before Bloodstorm realizes his brother is missing."

They didn't hesitate and began moving immediately, not bothering to rest despite their exhaustion. The nearest city was Ironpeak city and it was several hundred kilometers away.

At their fastest pace, they could cover the distance in about twelve hours. But that was under the assumption that they encountered no dimensional beasts, and no complications.

They all moved in silence, conserving energy.

Levi turned his gaze on the asura devil physique.

〔System Note〕

❝This bloodline is a mistake.❞

Levi gritted his teeth when he saw the price of using True Asura Transformation. He could sense the weakness deep in his soul and knew he had at most lost 50 to 60 years of his life!

If he had been rational, he definitely wouldn't have dared to use it. Now even his regeneration is slower at this moment.

He gritted his teeth in anger but then sighed as long as he advanced to be Fiend warrior realm, he would be able to gain a few hundred years of life span.

Time pass really slow. They encountered two groups of dimensional beasts—a pack of Shadow Wolves and a territorial Thunder Bear—but between Levi's killing intent was so strong they immediately fled by themselves. Even though he couldn't use any technique right now and was almost the same as an ordinary person, his killing instant was still intact.

By the time the sun began to set, painting the sky in shades of orange and purple, they had covered roughly half the distance to Ironpeak City.

But they were all tired at this moment.

Lyra who liked to joke around was quiet, her usual energy completely depleted. The twins were supporting each other, neither willing to admit how tired they were.

"We need to rest," Levi said, his voice hoarse. "If we push much further, we'll collapse."

Marcus wanted to argue but he was also tired. If they continued, their speed would be slow but if they rest for a while, they would be even faster and even catch up to themselves if they hadn't rested.

"Fine," he said reluctantly. "But we keep watches, and if anything even slightly suspicious happens, we run immediately."

They found a small clearing surrounded by dense undergrowth that would provide both concealment and warning if anyone approached.

Lyra quickly made a decent meal, mostly meat soup and bread, nothing fancy but enough to restore some energy.

As they ate in exhausted silence, Marcus assigned watch rotations. "Four-hour shifts. I'll take first watch, then Kai, then Levi. Ren and Lyra, you're exempt—you both took heavy damage during the fights and need full rest."

Lyra looked like she wanted to argue, but one glance at her brother's expression told her it wouldn't be productive. She nodded and retreated to one of the makeshift tents Ren had constructed.

After finishing his meager meal, Levi also headed toward his tent. He sat cross legged and then proceeded to meditate.

[Cultivation of 'Astra Breath Absorption Technique' detected.]

[Random multiplier activated: 3999x!]

[Energy absorption amplified!]

His body absorbed the energy but his meridians were too shattered to direct them, making the energy leak out of his body like a sieve trying to hold water. Eve his cells couldn't absorb the energy.

Levi sighed. He was crippled at this moment. If it weren't for his bloodline, he would have been a true cripple by now. But Levi didn't let it get to him. In a while, his body would heal and he would be able to cultivate but he didn't know just when as his regeneration ability had reduced to 30 percent to the face that his life span had reduced also.
