The blood-red figure and the blonde girl faced off in the corridor, like eighteenth-century Western cowboys, a gunshot heralding the start of the battle.

Bullets ricocheted wildly in the corridor, sparks scattering everywhere, the gem lamp overhead shattered into pieces, plunging the corridor into darkness, torn apart by a streak of red glow — the blood-red beast lunging beside Xu Xiaoyou.

She lifted the gun barrel, only for two cold gleaming claws to come into view, slicing a smooth cross-section. Xu Xiaoyou decisively abandoned the cumbersome heavy sniper, and a long whip rose from her hand, wrapping around the charging Blood Monarch.

In the other hand appeared a lever-action rifle, covered in intricate rose gold patterns on the surface, similar to the Winchester rifle common in films and games, modified by her to accommodate Dragon Breath Bullets, buckshot, armor-piercing rounds, and Dam rounds, perfectly advantageous in mid-to-close range combat.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Xu Xiaoyou placed the gun barrel at Bai Zhou's neck and repeatedly pulled the trigger, the firelight creating a phantom glow, the buckshot only leaving white surface marks under the blood-red armor, instead enraging the frenzied beast.

Bai Zhou roared, disregarding everything as he lunged towards Xu Xiaoyou, who, under the state of the Duel Dance, moved like a dancer on the strings of death, using the long whip to move at high speed in the darkness, simultaneously rotating the Rose Rifle in her hands, drawing elegant arcs while loading the armor-piercing rounds enhanced with Headshot, and fired at Bai Zhou.

For her, darkness was a natural barrier, the Hunter's super dynamic perception allowed her to see every detail in the dark, every move of Bai Zhou outlined in white lines in her vision.

For the latter, the pixel-styled world, unknowingly, became bizarre, cartoon colors replaced by black and white, eyes growing on walls, tentacles extending from clouds, the edges of his vision red as if blood was seeping, yet the blonde girl like a blazing light that made him madly want to crush her.

Suddenly, a deafening explosion sounded by Bai Zhou's ear, he was blown away, buried under the rubble.

It was the Explosive Energy Trap, Xu Xiaoyou had also filled this corridor with trap cards, including but not limited to Whale Catching Nail Spear, bear traps, Plague Vine Poison.

Having completely lost his sanity, Bai Zhou triggered all these traps, she witnessed him stepping on a bear trap as thick as a bear's waist, getting pinned to the wall by a nail spear, thorned vines falling from the ceiling entangling his body, releasing poison mist, this corridor from left to right, all seventeen Explosive Energy Traps were triggered, explosions roaring from left to right, shaking eardrums.

Xu Xiaoyou raised her gun, using a Dragon Breath Bullet to ignite the last Explosive Energy Trap beside Bai Zhou, blasting the youth who had just gotten up.

Even so, the blood-red beast roared as it climbed from the ground, apart from parts of the blood-red armor being damaged, breath chaotic, he suffered no substantial harm, the depths of his eyes filled with a growing desire for blood and slaughter.

Bai Zhou charged once more toward Xu Xiaoyou, wherever the Blood Monarch reached, everything was destroyed as if easily crushed, the latter drawing skill cards while dodging attacks, setting new trap cards, engaging in a cat-and-mouse game.

In this battle, every second her bank account was burning money, perhaps consuming a third of her entire savings, maybe more, yet still within her control.

Xu Xiaoyou suddenly stopped, five slot machines beside her breaking down from overload.

"What, not running anymore?" Bai Zhou panted, his tone brutal, as the battle continued, he gradually began to control this Divine Gift.

He was almost certain, the Dark Gold Rose was nothing but an empty shell, ever since the battle began until now, the opponent dared not confront him head-on, only using these little tricks, even the attacks couldn't break through his Divine Gift.

"Had enough fun." Xu Xiaoyou uttered an ambiguous statement.

"Those little tricks of yours, they must come at a cost, right?" Bai Zhou swung the Blood Monarch charging up, slashing toward the pixelated blonde girl in his sight.

Xu Xiaoyou raised her long whip to block.

"You're not actually as strong as you seem!" Bai Zhou's gaze was fervent and excited, as if unlayering the disguise of this mysterious Cleaner.

"What are you overextending, to exchange for these bizarre abilities, I'm quite sure this isn't the first time I've fought you, this familiar feeling!" Bai Zhou drove Xu Xiaoyou back with a strike, continuing the assault, smashing down with the Giant Blade.

"On the cruise, there must have been a battle between you and me, Dark Gold Rose!" His body seemingly desperate to win this battle, every cell in Bai Zhou's body longed to redeem the disgrace, every exchange with the girl awakening muscle-embedded memories.

Countless details he couldn't recall in his mind, his body recorded them, Bai Zhou stared intently at Xu Xiaoyou, speaking slowly and deliberately:

"You possess the ability to manipulate others' memories, right?"

If the opponent revealed a trace of astonishment, the myth of the Dark Gold Rose would be shattered, but she didn't, her eyes merely cool, laughter came from beneath the mask, mocking Bai Zhou's naivety.
