The Girls Are All Coveting Me

Chapter 275: I'm Not a Pervert

The twilight sun streamed through the stained glass, casting its glow on Lilith's long hair.

Chloe held the girl's slightly cool fingers, noticing her eartips turning an unusual shade of red.

"Actually..." A hint of a smile flashed in Lilith's eyes, time slipped through his palms, and the air seemed to heat up abruptly, "The way you embraced just now was wrong."

Before Chloe could react, she was pulled into the props room.

The scent from Lilith's hair wafted across her cheeks, and the click of the lock turning in the dark was particularly clear.

"Watch closely..." The Beauty President snapped her fingers, and Fantasy Power lit up the room, "The leading man should support the leading lady's lower back with his right hand, while his left hand..."

Lilith pretended to stagger, falling into Chloe's arms.

She looked up, her eyes shimmering with a dazed expression.

Chloe raised an eyebrow:

"Is this acting?"

"Absolutely not."

Lilith's sultry body leaned against her lover.

Somehow, he suddenly remembered when Miseria said her outfit was quite risqué.

Seeing Chloe's eyes as deep as the ocean, she smiled softly:

"It's all Miseria's fault."

"Hmm?"

"She said my clothes were quite risqué, so..." Lilith sat on Chloe's lap, "I really changed colors."

The two were very close, Chloe could see the faint blush below the girl's collarbone.

"Your heartbeat is so fast." He deliberately brushed his nose against her burning earlobe, "Are you nervous?"

Lilith restlessly wrapped her arms around his back, her fangs biting his neck:

"Don't forget, I'm of the Blood Race True Ancestor, believe it or not I..."

The threat was cut off by her lover's fingers brushing her spine.

She let out a small whimper, suddenly going soft, resting her forehead on his shoulder, gasping for breath.

Chloe chuckled softly:

"Back when you were a peanut, you always loved bluffing like this."

"Shut up." Lilith bit his collarbone in embarrassment and anger, but froze at the taste of blood.

She anxiously licked the wound on her lover, murmuring:

"Sorry, I lost control again..."

Indeed, still very jealous.

The gaps between thinking and doing are indeed vast.

Yet in the next moment, a warm kiss sealed the unfinished words.

Chloe's fingertips traced over Lilith:

"Don't cry, I didn't come here to make you cry."

"Liar."

Lilith's voice was very light.

What lie?

She didn't know.

The atmosphere grew increasingly heated.

"Chloe, I want to..."

"It's very dangerous here, don't tell me you want to..."

Lilith laughed and patted his chest, saying:

"I'm not some kind of nymphomaniac, how could I always be thinking about such things."

"Hmm? Not even?"

The girl placed two fingers on her lips, slightly parted.

Her rosy lips caught Chloe's attention.

"What I mean is, just kiss me again, and I'll forgive you for what happened on stage today."

"Is that it?"

Chloe was about to say something when Lilith crouched down and looked up:

"So, don't move?"

"...Is it this kind of kiss you mean?"

…2000 words omitted…

Several absurd moments, a few troubles.

After a long while.

Lilith suddenly coughed.

She was struggling to continue when she suddenly heard the sound of a door opening.

"Senpai, today's forms... huh? No one's here?"

The anger that had just boiled over in Lilith was instantly doused with a bucket of cold water.

"What timing."

Lilith sighed, helping Chloe straighten her pants.

Just as they stood up, the door was pushed open.

Miseria stood at the door with a stack of costumes, stunned, she surveyed the scene created with Fantasy Power, and after a moment, thoughtfully said:

"Senpai, are you teaching him acting? Why even activate the Fantasy Projection."

Lilith grabbed Miseria's collar and turned her head: "Get out!"

"Alrighty."

Miseria disappeared at the speed of light.

She suddenly felt a sense of imminent danger.

...

"Crack—"

The feather pen in Miseria's hand made a crack on the paper, she stared in shock at the short message:

"No, what's that lazy guy doing, saying he has a back strain and can't come watch?"

The spectacled girl pinched her brow.

Unreliable person, in the end, she'd have to come herself.

At this time on the stage.

Fratiss was also somewhat helpless.

"Cut!"

"This is the thirteenth NG today."

Fratiss squatted at the edge of the stage, her cowlick drooping feebly.

"Maybe we should try forced perspective?" Miseria handed them iced lemon water, the frost on the glass melting silently at her fingertips, "Last week, the Twilight City's Fantasy Show handled intimate scenes this way."

"Forced perspective will reduce the completion degree of the Fantasy Show."

Fratiss bit her lip, absentmindedly rubbing the script in her hand:

"The President values this Fantasy Show greatly, so if possible, I hope the area of physical contact can at least reach..."

"Stop!" Miseria suddenly approached the two, her mint-colored pupils quietly watching them as she said, "Are you really mentally prepared?"

Chloe looked up, directly meeting Fratiss's eyes, which were glowing with moonlight.

For some reason, he thought of his somewhat willful but very kind sister Kasha.

Those bunny-like eyes always looked so adorably pitiful that one couldn't refuse.

The Red Moon Goddess should feel this very much.

"I have a suggestion." Fratiss tiptoed closer to his ear, "Since we need to elicit the maximum resonance, we should...kiss."

The prop room suddenly became so quiet that you could hear the sound of a pen tip scratching.

Miseria looked at her junior sister in shock.

Heavens, previously you even thought about easing the difficulty of hugs, now you're raising it crazily?

"Are you serious? I feel like Lilith would see me as an old pervert and crucify me like dried Jesus ham."

"Who is Jesus?"

"A useless guy who can't ensure boys aren't molested by priests."

Fratiss couldn't understand the hell joke.

She waved the script in her hand:

"As for adjustments to physical contact, I still believe we need to enhance the kiss scene to deepen the Fantasy Show."

"Let's not, it's too intimate."

Fratiss calmly said, "Joking aside, if it weren't that you were the one I'm closest to, I wouldn't agree."

Chloe looked slightly troubled.

The little foodie is someone with an incredibly stubborn personality.

Yeah.

So is Lilith.

One could only say that a foster mother is also a mother; their obsessions in certain areas are truly the same.

"Do, do you think I'm terrible, that you don't, don't want to really act with me? If, if that's the case, I'm putting you in a tough spot."

"Uh?!" Seeing her like that, what could Chloe say, "Well, let's work hard together."

Oh well, let's just go along with it.

After all, when Kasha was little, the times she occasionally kissed and hugged him weren't few.

Fratiss's eyes lit up: "Really? Thank you so much."

"You're thanking me for having to kiss? Junior, you're really..."

"Crap!" Miseria simply and clearly expressed her attitude, looking at Chloe with disdain.

Chloe calmly said:

"Senior, weren't you the same? You obviously liked it a lot, last time you even..."

Pop!

Chloe's mouth was blocked.

...

Two days later.

The time for the Fantasy Show was drawing closer.

Miseria was surprised to find that the Fantasy Power emitted from the two of them started to surge.

The speed of the Fantasy Power's flow was fast, under the moonlight background constructed by Miseria, Fratiss's pale skin displayed strange patterns under the moonlight, looking as if she might dissipate into the night breeze.

Chloe reached his hand out to her, with a bit more gentleness in his eyes.

"Want to give it a try?"

He made a gesture of invitation.

"Cut!"

Miseria's shout instantly pulled Chloe back to reality.

He then realized his fingers were gently grazing Fratiss's face.

Holding the Fantasy Ball, Miseria spoke:

"Wait a moment, I'll go ask the props team for a turtleneck costume."

Fratiss tilted her head, looking at Miseria in confusion.

"Tilting your head won't help, I suddenly realized this angle when shot, this girl might reveal too much."

Fratiss went backstage to change into a high-collar long dress, slightly freshening up her makeup before reappearing.

"Is this okay now?" She blankly looked at Miseria, "Senior, you can't even see the collarbone now."

Miseria bit on her pen, examining for a long time, and suddenly reached out to undo one pearl button on the collar.

"It's a bit too conservative now, undo one, this hint of mystery is just right."

The magic crystal lamps in the rehearsal hall flickered unpredictably.

Chloe looked at the gradually reddening corners of Fratiss's eyes, suddenly reminded of the warmth from Lilith yesterday.

That was how she curled up in his arms like a wounded little animal, as he held her, she felt like a fragile piece of porcelain.

"Begin!"

Miseria's shout pulled him back to reality.

Fratiss collapsed onto the velvet carpet, the hem of her costume spreading like waves, Chloe easily wrapping his arms around her.

This time, their movements were incredibly smooth.

There wasn't the tense atmosphere from before embracing.

—Because the more outrageous things were yet to come.

When Chloe's hand touched the girl's cheek, his fingertips hit an unnatural heat, and Fratiss suddenly grabbed his wrist, retreating slightly.

"Cut."

Miseria sounded out again.

Chloe raised his eyebrows.

Because he noticed, the foodie's pupils had unknowingly spread into eerie red eyes, and a blood-red curse text was creeping strangely beneath the collar.

[It really is... just as you thought, Lilith]

Indeed.

Fratiss was merely imitating the script's female lead who was based on Lilith, the performance wasn't even over, yet just by slightly breaking the awkwardness, she was already beginning to awaken as the Blood Angel.

"Fratiss, you're playing the female lead, not trying to murder the male lead."

The girl was stunned for a moment; the eerie red light in her eyes instantly dispersed, as if electrocuted, she released her grip.

The girl flashed an awkward yet polite, brilliant smile.

"Sorry, I think I need a break."

She turned and went downstairs, taking a drink from her bag, then turned her head to ask Chloe:

"Senior, want some lemon water?"

"Sure."
