Becoming a Saint by Touching Corpses

Chapter 200: Mutual Harm

The reason Lou Yi fell for the trap.

First, because Patriarch Fang suddenly called his name, attracting his attention.

Second, because the four were too close, even with his body technique, it was difficult to dodge.

The air column issued at such close range wasn't powerful enough to cause Lou Yi much harm.

But that wasn't what Patriarch Fang and the others wanted.

They wanted to throw Lou Yi to distract the beasts, creating an opportunity to kill the Beast King.

They would eliminate a major threat and use the opportunity to rid themselves of the Beast King, securing many long-neglected properties; a true win-win situation.

At this moment, Patriarch Fang, Old Master Xu, and others displayed a smug expression as their plan came to fruition.

Especially Old Master Xu, who felt a certain satisfaction of revenge.

He would probably never forget the scene where Lou Yi forced him to learn pig sounds.

Unexpectedly, while in mid-air, Lou Yi seemed prepared, pulling out a handful of small white stones and threw them forcefully at these 'partners', like a goddess scattering flowers.

"Ridiculous." Patriarch Fang and the others didn't draw weapons, simply emitted a gentle palm wind.

It shattered all the stones in mid-air before they could touch anyone.

Unexpectedly, after the stones shattered, a lot of red liquid spilled out!

The sky was covered with red rain, instantly drenching the three of them.

Even though they tried their best to dodge, some red still stained their bodies.

"Oh no, it's human blood!" Patriarch Fang exclaimed in shock and anger.

"This little beast, how vicious his mind!" Old Master Xu couldn't help but curse.

In the current city battle, people die every day; collecting human blood was a small matter for Lou Yi.

Hiring professionals to store the blood in clay wasn't difficult either.

The scent of human blood, to these beast monsters, was as glaring as a beacon in the dark night.

No matter how powerful the Beast Avoidance Powder was, it couldn't conceal them at all!

Chief Lin quickly pulled out a three-foot iron rod from behind.

With several 'clang clang clang' sounds, the iron rod quickly extended into a shimmering silver spear.

Patriarch Fang revealed his lavish thin sword, and Old Master Xu retrieved a red treasured blade.

They weren't very panicked; after all, Lou Yi was at the forefront, attracting the beast monsters' attention.

Who knew, after looking forward, their expressions changed drastically.

Though Lou Yi landed on the open space by the wolf demons' lake habitat.

The wolf demons seemed not to see him but instead turned all their attention to themselves.

"Howl!!" The Red-haired Wolf immediately let out a roar.

Clearly, it didn't expect humans had intruded into their domain with obvious ulterior motives.

'Swish swish swish!'

Upon hearing the Beast King's roar, each beast head quickly turned, focusing on the three of them with ferocity and murderous intent.

The three of them were chilled to the bone.

While Lou Yi, without a care, dodged among the beast herd and leisurely disappeared from sight.

"I! @#¥¥%%"

Patriarch Fang, Chief Lin, and Old Master Xu were so angry they wanted to curse out loud.

"We must kill that Red-haired Wolf to find a way out!" Old Master Xu yelled ferociously.

At this point, the three had ventured deep into the beast herd's territory, and were surrounded by enemies. Even escape was challenging, with the risk of falling.

Given the situation, it was better to gamble with a dangerous move.

Patriarch Fang and Chief Lin, both seasoned Martial Artists, were also decisive individuals.

Realizing Old Master Xu's words as the only way out, they decided to follow through immediately.

The constant 'whoosh whoosh' of swaying garments echoed as the three, holding nothing back, used their Lightweight Skills to swiftly move towards the Red-haired Wolf Demon.

"Roar!"

The Red-haired Wolf Demon sensed danger from them, showed vigilance, and continuously retreated, summoning several Gray-Furred Wolf Demons as guards.

"Out of my way!"

Chief Lin swung his spear horizontally, thrusting hard at a Gray-Furred Two-headed Wolf Demon blocking his path!

The Gray-Furred Wolf Demon raised its massive fan-like paw.

Each toe extended a long, sharp black claw, gleaming like a sharp sword, striking towards the spear shaft.

'Clang!'

The spear shaft was deflected by the wolf demon's huge force, but Chief Lin utilized the momentum to thrust towards another side.

The spear tip suddenly extended a length of white spear light, piercing right into the second wolf demon approaching him.

"Howl!"

The wolf demon let out a miserable cry, a visible blood hole formed on its abdomen, bleeding profusely.

But before Chief Lin could show his joy, the third wolf demon already lunged at him.

He had to forgo the perfect chance to kill the demon, withdrawing his spear to defend.

If there was only one wolf demon, he was confident of killing it within thirty moves.

Facing two, he could find an opportunity within a hundred moves.

But more than three, he could only barely manage, seeking not to be defeated.

Chief Lin did his best to hold off the three wolf demons.

'Bang bang bang!'

Meanwhile, behind them, hundreds to thousands of wild beasts were surging forward frantically, like a veritable earthquake had struck.

"I'll block them, leave the rest to you, Old Master Xu!" Patriarch Fang resolutely said, facing the oncoming 'thousands of troops,' "I can only hold them for ten breaths at most!"

With that, Patriarch Fang's eyes sharpened as the white glow on his thin sword flared up!

"Lotus... Swordsmanship!"

His right foot tapped the ground, twisting his waist, his body spun wildly like a gyroscope on the spot.

White sword qi shot out incessantly 360 degrees in all directions, like a suddenly blooming lotus flower, dangerous and beautiful.

Simultaneously, the sword qi propelled the air, forming equally numerous finger-thick air columns shooting at the wildly advancing beast army.

The small lotus transformed into a large lotus instantly.

Continuous 'boom boom boom' echoes were heard.

Countless approaching wild beasts and raptors were knocked down by the white air columns.

Even those beast strong or lucky enough to withstand the air columns and come close.

Were shredded into countless pieces by the razor-sharp lotus of sword qi!

Patriarch Fang, on his own, managed to hold off the beast tide army for over ten breaths.

Unfortunately, such a secret technique was extremely harmful to the body and unsustainable.

When he stopped the sword, his face had turned pale, and a metallic taste filled his throat, unable to suppress the bout of blood he spat out.

He looked back with hopeful eyes, focusing on the strongest among the three: Old Master Xu!

Old Master Xu's task was equally challenging.

He faced three Gray-Furred Wolf Demons and his target, the Red-haired Wolf Demon.

Being the top expert of Tai City, his fame was not undeserved.

His face was grave as he wielded the blood-red curved blade 'Soul Shattering,' soaring into the air like a great bird.

A faint white glow seeped from his feet, stepping lightly in the air, moving with godspeed, easily dodging a wolf demon's assault.

Yet, two Gray-Furred Wolf Demons lunged at him simultaneously, one from the left, the other from the right.

Four massive fan-like claws tore through the air with a shrill whizzing sound.

"Die!"

A powerful aura emanated from Old Master Xu, an invisible ripple spreading forward.

The two Gray-Furred Wolf Demons, in terror, found themselves unable to move for a moment.

The Soul Shattering Blade slashed out cleanly, its unique mesmerizing effect leaving them bewildered.

'Splatter!'

A wolf demon's two heads were severed simultaneously, dying brutally on the spot.

The other wolf demon, after its companion's tragic death, broke free and fled in panic.

Old Master Xu couldn't be bothered to chase, his eyes locked solely on the Beast King with its entirely red fur!
