Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 113: The Path

"Did he really not leave any instructions before diving into his research?" Bruno asked Kateya with an irritated expression.

In fact, none of those present knew whether Lor was really engaged in research or if something had gone wrong.

But everyone assumed that Lor was conducting important research rather than experiencing an issue.

Bruno had asked the same question countless times.

"No."

Kateya shook her head, looking dejected, subconsciously saying, "After Lord Lor returned, he only asked me to start calling him Meteor Mage and said that once he advances to the Third Ring, he would have me do some things."

When everyone first gathered here, they all smiled knowingly upon hearing Kateya's words.

Later, with each gathering, no one could muster a smile anymore.

"The fire seed my grandfather left is gradually awakening."

Levan looked at the three and said, "It's almost back to its original state now, and if all goes well, my grandfather will soon wake up."

"Once my grandfather wakes up, I'll have him come take a look; he should be able to see the current situation of the mentor."

In the past, he was also very worried about the mentor.

But a few days ago, in the Sea of Consciousness, the fire seed my grandfather left behind made an unusual move, easing his concerns.

No matter what problem the mentor faced, he could always rely on his grandfather to solve it.

His grandfather is omnipotent!

"What? Speaker Yasen is about to recover?"

"Really?"

"That's wonderful!"

Agular and the others were delighted upon hearing this.

Speaker Yasen's recovery is a great boon for them, for Lor, and for the frontline battlefield.

On a broader scale, although they weren't sure about the state of the frontline, the fact that no Fourth Ring Mage had returned was an ominous sign.

Having another Five-Ring Mage joining would definitely make a significant difference.

On a smaller scale, Lor's current situation is unknown, and no one on the whole Betula Continent can discern his state.

Everyone present is deeply connected to Lor, and none wish for him to be in trouble.

If Speaker Yasen intervenes, he would likely solve Lor's dilemmas and at least ascertain Lor's current condition.

"Hmm." Levan nodded confidently and said, "Based on the current progress, at most three days, the fire seed my grandfather left will restore to its original form."

With Levan's words, the atmosphere at the scene noticeably lightened.

At that moment, Bruno took out the Continent Communication Device from the Space Ring and, seeing it was Ron calling, immediately connected.

A light screen appeared before the four of them.

"How is the Meteor Mage's current situation?" Ron asked with concern from the screen.

He had previously put a heavy stake on Lor, although this bet was largely dependent on Lor's own efforts, their rapport was indeed established.

In his heart, he already regarded Lor as a seed for a Fourth Ring Legislator, and it was only a matter of time before he broke through to the Fourth Ring.

No one ignores the rapport with a Fourth Ring Mage, and he naturally didn't want Lor to be in trouble either.

"The situation is still unclear."

Bruno shook his head, but his expression was no longer as heavy as usual, instead, he smiled and said, "But Levan said Speaker Yasen is about to wake up, and once Speaker Yasen is awake, Levan will request him to make a consciousness visit."

"As long as the Meteor Mage is alive, Speaker Yasen should be able to help him."

"Speaker Yasen's injuries are healing?" A hint of cheer appeared on Ron's face, "Then I'm relieved."

...

Inside the bedroom.

Inside Lor's Sea of Consciousness.

"I seem to... have found a pattern." Lor's long-dormant Spiritual Power suddenly became active, "Strings are different from molecules; they never exist in isolation. I should be searching from a holistic view."

He had actually had this thought long ago, but only now did he truly understand how to start.

A portion of his Spiritual Power unconsciously detached from the Sea of Consciousness Microscope, gathering weak Earth and Fire Elements in the Sea of Consciousness and slowly etched a faint, barely discernible black line.

Soon, he etched line after line.

"Buzz—" Elements in the Elemental Domain flowed gently but subtly avoided the minute Spiritual Power he had divided.

Time passed, and in the blink of an eye, three more days went by.

The originally indiscernible black lines in Lor's Sea of Consciousness gradually formed a shape and outline.

It seemed to be the outline of a fragmentary basic rune.

Although compared to a normal basic rune it was only a thousandth in size, it was incomparable to the strings.

When this small imperfect rune outline fully formed, Lor finally awakened from that special state.

"So this is how the Sea of Consciousness Microscope explores Space Runes." Lor's Spiritual Power completely detached from the Sea of Consciousness Microscope, looking at the small fragment of Space Rune in the Elemental Domain, a hint of joy welled up within him.

It wasn't a strong surge of joy but rather a steady, gentle flow, ceaselessly.

"Exploring the unknown, summarizing patterns, is truly enthralling." Lor mused in his heart.

He withdrew his Spiritual Power from the Sea of Consciousness, intending to find a piece of parchment in the Space Ring on which to jot down the fragmentary Space Rune he had just discovered.

The next moment, his attention was drawn to the Continent Communication Device set aside.

"This is..." Lor took out the parchment, bringing the Continent Communication Device along, glancing at it.

A myriad of missed communications met his gaze.

Among these communications were messages from Ron, Agular, and...

Nearly all acquaintances from the Betula Continent had contacted him.

"I was just researching string theory for a while, why did they send me so many communication requests?"

Lor was filled with confusion, "Could it be a Fourth Tier Demon has breached the Betula Continent?"

"That's impossible, the Continent Defense Shield is the product of the entire Wizard Alliance's painstaking effort; it's not so easily broken."

Unable to figure it out, he didn't rush to deal with these communications but quickly noted the fragmentary Space Rune he had just explored on the parchment.

Things must be handled step by step.

...

Outside Lor's dwelling.

Agular and the other four, along with Ron's light screen, regrouped.

Everyone was looking at Levan, who had previously said that in three days, Speaker Yasen would awaken.

Now that three days have passed, if all went well, Speaker Yasen should have woken up, right?

"Grandfather has already woken up." Levan looked around at the group, a broad smile on his face, "I've also spoken to grandfather about the mentor's situation, and he said he'll be arriving soon to check it out."

"Good, good, Speaker Yasen has finally woken up."

"That's great."

"Indeed!"

"With Speaker Yasen joining, my father's side should be a bit easier."

Everyone present had a joyful smile on their faces; Yasen waking up is beneficial to everyone.

Every person here, and not only those present but also all mortals and wizards in the entire Wizard Plane.
