"Is that... a Five-Ring Mage?"
The recovering Fourth-Ring Eye Demon was the first to notice the anomaly. Turning back, it saw the second sun on the distant horizon and felt a heavy sense of dread surge in its heart, shouting loudly, "Escape! Quick, run!"
As soon as it spoke, it was the first to flee in the opposite direction of the rising sun.
It had a deep understanding of the power of a Five-Ring Mage.
When it first came outside the Betula Continent, the reason why it was left with only its head was that when the Five-Ring Mage confronted the Abyss Monarch, it was engulfed in the terrifying witchcraft.
The vast Power of Origin contained within that spell made it shiver just with the memory.
"Five Rings? Could it be the monarchs have been defeated?"
"Even if we were to lose, it couldn't happen so quickly, could it?"
"Go, escape quickly!"
"Run, run, run."
"Impossible!"
Around fifty Fourth-Ring Demons, heeding the Eye Demon's warning, also discovered the rapidly approaching second sun.
Upon seeing the sun, these demons instantly fled in all directions.
Lower-tier Abyssal Demons generally had unclear minds, but this changed significantly starting at the Fourth Ring.
They might fight desperately for numerous human souls.
But currently, without any human souls to gain, there was no point in risking their lives.
No Fourth-Ring Demon would choose to die in vain.
...
Inside the continent's defense shield, many single Elemental Mages also noticed the second rising sun on the horizon.
"Speaker Yasen has arrived."
"Finally, we can take a break."
"Indeed."
"It's a pity that once Speaker Yasen arrives, the Fourth-Ring Demons flee, otherwise, he could have wiped them all out easily."
"Actually, Speaker Yasen can..."
"Is it your place to say how the Speaker should act?" A Third-Ring single element Legion Commander noticed something amiss and immediately rebuked sternly, though filled with helplessness.
"I..." The rebuked Two-Ring Wizard was at a loss for words and had to lower his head silently.
...
These conversations occurred repeatedly among the single-element legions.
Due to Ron's earlier report, they knew Speaker Yasen was merely handling some matters on the Betula Continent and would soon return to the frontlines, where the situation remained unclear.
Thus, they did not lose their composure.
What they had to face would inevitably be faced, and this was merely a temporary pause.
Some First and Second Ring single-element Mages couldn't comprehend Yasen's actions, but out of respect for his position, they buried their confusion in their hearts.
"Huff—Huff—"
The sun continued flying while gradually decreasing in size.
Ten minutes later, when it reached the coastal edge of the Betula Continent, the sun had completely dissipated and transformed into an elderly man wearing a red Wizard Robe.
The elderly man flew directly towards the Betula Continent. As he neared the continent defense shield, a hundred-mile long and wide crack automatically appeared, allowing him entry.
"Speaker Yasen."
"Speaker Yasen."
...
Regardless of visibility, all single-element Mages aboard the spaceships were bowing in the direction of the defense shield's crack.
"These years, you've worked hard," Yasen said gently, his spiritual power extending as he glanced at the weary single-element Mages.
In his heart, however, he sighed.
This scene was one he had witnessed eleven times.
Betula Continent's situation was still relatively good.
The situation on Moore Continent was dire, with its outer perimeter of thirty thousand miles sunk by Fourth-Ring Demons, and the interior in chaos by lower-tier demons, leaving less than half of the humans surviving.
If he hadn't gone, it might have become a second Murphy Continent.
...
Three minutes later.
Cooper Wizard Tower, Fifty-Seventh Floor.
Having rested a while, Lor was planning to continue deducing the Elemental Molecule Intersection when he suddenly noticed his continent communication device in the Space Ring was ringing.
He took it out and saw it was a message from Ron, immediately connecting the call.
A light screen appeared.
"Meteor Mage, Speaker Yasen has arrived on the continent, please prepare for his reception," Ron instructed.
"Understood," Lor nodded, ending the call immediately. He exited his bedroom and used the Earth Vein Traveling Technique to rush out of the Wizard Tower.
Speaker Yasen's time was valuable, and his visit was already a great privilege, so Lor dared not delay.
In less than a second, Lor had traveled from the fifty-seventh floor of the Wizard Tower to the tower's entrance.
At this time, a few other Wizards were still coming and going at the tower entrance, but within seconds, they all took out their Communication Balls and connected to their messages.
After they put down the Communication Balls, they immediately headed upstairs, leaving the first floor of the Wizard Tower devoid of others.
Lor didn't mind and went directly to the tower entrance, waiting for Yasen's arrival.
Before long, he noticed a wisp of flame descending beside him, finally taking the form of Speaker Yasen.
"Speaker Yasen," Lor greeted immediately with a bow.
"Mmm, take this to absorb," Yasen nodded, handing over a Space Ring.
"Yes, thank you, Speaker Yasen," Lor expressed gratitude, accepting the Space Ring, and started absorbing the Divine Power Crystal inside.
More than ten minutes later.
Lor absorbed five hundred thousand Divine Power Crystals, raising his spiritual power to thirty thousand.
"Let's go," Yasen waved, transforming Lor into a five-meter-diameter Fireball, zooming swiftly outward from Betula Continent.
"Woo—"
Curious, Lor examined the Fireball surrounding him, enveloped as he was in Fire Elemental Energy, which looked no different than the Earth Element Ball Nelson used when they journeyed to the Divine Kingdom.
"Lor, how far can you perceive now? And what about the casting range of your Meteor Technique?" Yasen, standing beside Lor, asked.
Perception ability concerns the release range of witchcraft.
Generally, the casting range for Fourth-Ring witchcraft is around ten thousand miles.
But Lor, being only a Third-Ring mage, had a shorter perception range, which was expected.
"Fifteen thousand miles," Lor answered honestly.
His precise perception distance was fifteen thousand two hundred and thirteen miles, but there was no need to mention the odd numbers.
"Fifteen thousand miles..." Yasen was silently contemplative.
This Lor continued to surprise him beyond expectation.
Indeed, geniuses cannot be judged by common sense.
"Speaker Yasen, is there a problem?" Lor feigned ignorance.
He was well aware that his spellcasting distance exceeded the typical standard of a Fourth-Ring Wizard, but compared to the Destruction Traits he would showcase later, it was nothing significant.
He laid some small groundwork now to make it easier for his backing to accept what comes next, right?
"Nothing," Yasen shook his head, not wanting to speak further.
Thinking back to when he himself was a Third-Ring... well, what's the point of comparison?
...
Another ten plus minutes passed.
"We've arrived," Yasen dispersed the Fire Element Ball with a wave.
Lor looked around, finding himself brought by Yasen over the Endless Sea.
"That direction, fourteen thousand five hundred miles away, there's a Fourth-Ring Horned Demon. Use it as your target to test your spell," Yasen pointed westward over the Endless Sea.
"Yes, Speaker Yasen," Lor spread his perception and immediately locked onto the massive Horned Demon in the west, towering over eight hundred miles.
