Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 144: Return One Year Recharge!

"Whether it's transforming the Witchcraft Model, acquiring the Space Rune, constructing a spatial domain that breaks through the Fifth Ring, or creating that unique witchcraft to grasp the key to opening a Plane Passage, it all requires a vast amount of time."

Lor sighed quietly to himself, "Relying on myself alone, I certainly can't continue this path; I must put the establishment of the Space Faction on the agenda."

Even if he established the Space Faction, Lor was well aware that he might still need a very long time to achieve these goals.

There was no choice; delving into the Space Rune had no shortcuts.

It was also the price he had to pay after breaking through the Fourth Ring, when no one could threaten his life anymore.

At the same time, it was one of the reasons why he could so smoothly acquire vast resources along the way.

"The more benefits you enjoy, the greater the price you must pay." Looking at the restless waves of the Endless Sea, Lor felt a deeper understanding of this saying.

After a long while, he suddenly smiled and shook his head, thinking to himself, "No matter what, the early emergence of the Spatial Mage will make the Wizard Alliance's situation better than in the past life. As for the rest, we'll take it one step at a time."

"After the Battle of the Abyss ends, I will establish the Space Faction."

"Before that, I'll focus my energy on casting the Origin Container and waiting for the players to descend."

He could only ensure that he would do his best in everything he could do; the rest, he would go with the flow.

...

"Shhhh—shhhh—..."

Four days later, with his Spiritual Power stabilized, Lor performed Space Jumping Witchcraft repeatedly and quickly returned to the Betula Continent.

He didn't linger over the borders where only sparse low-tier demons existed but continued heading toward the Cooper Wizard Tower.

"Shhh—"

Soon, on the fifty-seventh floor of the Cooper Wizard Tower, a pitch-black space fissure tore open before Lor's residence door, and Lor's figure squeezed through it.

"Mentor."

"Lor."

"Legislator Lole."

The noise Lor made upon his return caught the attention of the three: Agular, Levan, and Kateya.

Seeing he was unharmed, they all silently breathed a sigh of relief in their hearts.

After putting their worries aside, what surged within them was a strong sense of pride.

In just one month, their very close associate Lor had achieved something unprecedented.

As a Third Ring Wizard, he annihilated five hundred Fourth Tier demons, basking in endless glory.

This made them share in the honor.

"Mentor, Levan, Kateya." Lor smiled, nodding to the three, exchanging pleasantries, and then set up a banquet.

After the banquet ended, he went into his dwelling and initiated a communication with Ron.

In less than a second, the communication was connected, and a light screen appeared before Lor.

"Greetings, Legislator Lole." Ron bowed, speaking respectfully.

"No need for such courtesy, Representative Ron." Lor smiled, saying, "I'm looking to exchange merits for Magic Crystal Ore, just like the previous times."

"Which Magic Crystal Ore does Legislator Lole want?" Ron asked.

Previously, he had sent the coordinates and details of all large Magic Crystal Ores belonging to the Wizard Alliance to Lor. By now, Lor had likely chosen the Magic Crystal Ore he wanted, and Ron just needed to make a record.

"I want the largest Magic Crystal Ore in the southern border of the Glory Empire, the largest Magic Crystal Ore in the western border of the Abel Kingdom, the Jieao Kingdom..." Lor named the large Magic Crystal Ores he had selected in advance.

In total, he selected thirteen large Magic Crystal Ores, which amounted to a sum of three thousand seventy-five Magic Crystal Mother Ores, worth thirty billion seven hundred fifty million merits.

With this, he almost monopolized all the Magic Crystal Ores belonging to the Wizard Alliance on the Betula Continent.

"Alright, Legislator Lole." Ron responded, "I'll immediately withdraw personnel from the Magic Crystal Ores."

"Okay." Lor nodded, made small talk with Ron, and then cut off the communication, relaying the locations of these large Magic Crystal Ores to Kateya.

After finishing this miscellany, Lor channelled his Spiritual Power into the Sea of Consciousness, looking at the Earth-Fire Meditation Rune Model encircled by the Great Meteor Rune Model, Space Jumping Rune Model, and Void Realm Witchcraft Rune Model, lost in thought.

"With my current witchcraft foundation, although I have more than enough to cast the Origin Container, pushing the three Core Witchcraft Models to their limits would be steadier."

Lor thought privately, "Anyway, it won't take long, just a few more months should suffice."

"Just in time during this period to brush up on the witchcraft structures, ensuring no errors at all."

Reaching the Fourth Ring was a major event impacting his future; he had sufficient patience to make all the preparations to the best of his ability.

...

A year later.

"Knock knock knock—"

Hearing the knock on the door, Lor awoke from his rune structure review, got up, and opened the door.

Kateya's elegant face came into view.

"Legislator Lole, this is this month's Magic Crystal output."

Kateya bowed, presented a red Space Ring, and reported, "This month, one Magic Crystal Mother Ore was added from three large Magic Crystal Ores, but one was lost, resulting in a total balance of three hundred forty-three million Magic Crystals."

"Okay." Lor nodded, taking the ring and transferring three hundred forty-three million Magic Crystals into his Space Ring, then handed the Space Ring back.

"Your Excellency Lor, this..." Kateya noticed there were still five hundred thousand Magic Crystals left in the Space Ring, and she looked at Lor with a bit of puzzlement.

She inadvertently said the name she had always kept buried in her heart because of a momentary lapse.

"This is your training subsidy."

Lor smiled, saying, "As a reward to an assistant from a top-tier laboratory, it doesn't match the work you're doing now."

"I consider myself a fair person; naturally, you should receive appropriate compensation for your work."

A few years ago, Lor had been tight on contribution points and Magic Crystals, so he hadn't provided Kateya with much extra resources.

Now it was different; Kateya had never made a single mistake in her work and never showed greed for the vast amount of Magic Crystals, so he naturally couldn't be stingy.

"Thank you, Your Excellency Lor." Kateya's eyes lit up, and she immediately bowed in thanks.

She deliberately shouted that name, seeing that Lor didn't correct her this time.

In her heart, the significance of the Magic Crystals paled in comparison to the value of that exclusively hers name.

"Alright, go back and rest." Lor waved with a bit of amusement, not bothering with Kateya's little thoughts, closed the door again, and walked into his bedroom.

Back then, he specifically reminded Kateya to call him by the title of Meteor Mage, mostly out of a sense of pride.

As for now...

The name Legislator Lole was already as brilliant as the sun in the Wizard Alliance, where would he still need to boast?

Sitting back on his bedroom bed, Lor took a deep breath, enveloping the Space Ring with his Spiritual Power, thinking to himself, "Charge up!"
