Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 176: Epilogue_2

"Those demons are getting better at hiding; we've found only two in a month." Looking at the empty sea of trees, Lor couldn't help but sigh.

He was hoping to end the war soon, return to build a Wizard Tower, and recruit apprentices.

It seems now he'll have to wait a bit longer.

As for finding them in the Sea of Blood himself, he had no way of spreading his awareness, so going there was pointless.

"Having progressed this far is already great; initially, we planned to spend a hundred years wrapping things up."

Francis smiled, "Thanks to your appearance, it looks like we'll be done in at most half a year."

"Hopefully." Lor shrugged and after chatting casually with Francis for a few more words, retrieved the Continent Communication Device from his Space Ring and started examining various combinations of basic runes and witchcraft models.

Although it's not possible to reach Wizard World from within the Abyss to sync information transmission, messages transmitted previously would not disappear.

He intends to construct Space Witchcraft on his own next, which, in addition to the challenge of collecting Space Rune, requires him to enrich his knowledge reserves.

Reviewing the structure of other witchcraft models helps expand one's thinking and adds inspiration.

On the other side, Francis made the same move as Lor.

The progress of wizards comes from the accumulation and combination of knowledge.

The wisdom essence erupted by weaker wizards can also bring inspiration to stronger ones.

...

A year later.

"Whoosh—boom—"

The final Meteor bursts under the watchful eyes of nineteen speakers and hundreds of legislators, exterminating the last fifth-level Blood Demon.

Thus, all fourth and fifth-level demons in the Abyss were completely exterminated.

This also declared the end of the nearly sixty-year war, with the Wizard Alliance claiming the final victory.

As for the zero to third-level demons remaining in the Abyss, they were clearly not regarded by the wizards watching the Meteor burst.

In the next moment, Lor emerged from the Space No-Distance Layer, dispelling the Elemental True Body and transforming into his original form.

Under the gazes of many, he was embarrassed to collect the corpse of the Blood Demon, so he flew straight to the center where the speakers were.

"Greetings, Speaker Lor." Seeing Lor's emergence, all the legislators bowed, and the other speakers at the center smiled and nodded.

Seeing this, Lor paused, a slight smile creeping up his lips, nodding back to everyone before continuing his flight to the center of the crowd.

He was still wearing a red and yellow Bicolor Wizard Robe, but, like other speakers, there was no longer any emblem at the collar.

Each speaker is a renowned figure in the Wizard Alliance.

Their reverence no longer requires any emblems to bolster it.

Among the outer crowd of legislators, a wizard wearing a red and green Bicolor Wizard Robe cast a glance filled with complex emotions at Lor.

Thinking back to before the Abyssal War began, Lor was just a promising genius he favored.

Due to his outstanding performance, he had gifted Lor with a first-class laboratory.

Yet, in less than sixty years, Lor had risen above him and become one of only twenty-four speakers in the Wizard Alliance.

And he heard that this speaker position was collectively agreed upon and granted by the speakers.

The absurdity of this matter has made it difficult for him to accept even now.

Lor, who had just settled among the speakers, noticed this subtle glance and curiously turned his head to see it was actually Cooper, thus smiling and nodding towards him.

As for this person, he holds considerable goodwill.

That first-class laboratory had accompanied him through most of his life.

This kindness, he will not forget.

In the future, if Cooper needs help with anything, he's willing to lend a hand.

In the group of legislators, Cooper, who understood the implication of Lor's smile, took a deep breath, a hint of joy flashing in his heart, and saluted Lor again.

A first-class laboratory in exchange for a speaker's goodwill — he's truly made a profit!

The other legislators around Cooper also noticed the interaction between the two, casting envious glances his way.

"Everyone, the Battle of the Abyss has ended; it's time to discuss merits and rewards." After Lor settled, Francis glanced at the surrounding legislators, and smilingly said: "You can now return to Wizard World and find the representative legislators from your continents to exchange merits for Magic Crystal Ore and land."

"Or you could keep your merits and wait for us to settle the Abyss allocation plan, then exchange your merits for Abyss Territory."

"Don't think Abyss Territory is useless; Speaker Lor had a highly feasible proposal earlier. You can check it out when you return to Wizard World."

"If this concept materializes, Abyss Territory will become no different from land on the continent."

"Also, there's going to be a major meeting in January next year — remember to attend on time."

With that, Francis paused slightly, waved, and said, "That's all I have to say. If you don't wish to return to Wizard World, feel free to stroll around the Abyss and go."

"Yes, Speaker Francis." The legislators all bowed to Francis before promptly stepping on the path of return.

They had been in the Abyss for long enough; now they just wish to return to Wizard World to unwind and relieve the fatigue brought by the long war.

"Ladies and gentlemen, let's also proceed to the summary meeting." Francis said to those beside him.

While the major meeting is for handling minor matters, important issues are always decided in smaller meetings between the speakers — it's a Wizard Alliance convention.

"Alright, let's go then."

"Okay."

"Let's move."

The speakers responded one by one, and then each cast witchcraft flying towards the upper layers of the Abyss.

Although using Yasen's New Fire could call meetings, some speakers didn't have it, and ultimately, it's less convenient than the Continent Communication Device.

Lor responded briefly, though he didn't move immediately.

Only after everyone had left did he approach the fifth-level Blood Demon, harvesting the precious materials from its body.

When the next players descend, he would inevitably spend greatly, so naturally, he shouldn't waste these good things now.

Once the materials were collected, Lor again transformed into a Spatial Elemental Giant, his Spiritual Power diving into the Sea of Consciousness as he activated Space Jump witchcraft, jumping towards the upper Abyss.

In just a moment, he arrived at the Abyss entrance where Yasen and the other three were located.

Now, besides Yasen's three and the wizard always in their Elemental Domain at the Abyss entrance, there wasn't a single person.

The other legislators and speakers were still flying upwards; likely taking a day or two before gathering completely.

"Greetings, Speaker Lor." The Elemental Giants within Yasen's Elemental Domain discovered Lor's arrival, bowing in greeting, with the other three speakers also nodding at him across the Domain.

As for the Elemental Giants in the Domains of the other two speakers, due to the distance, they couldn't notice Lor's arrival.

"Now that the fourth and fifth-level demons below have been cleared, you need not guard here any longer." Lor nodded in response before addressing the three of Yasen, "Francis is on his way here, and once everyone arrives, a summary meeting will be held."

"So the war is finally over." Yasen looked at Lor, who had turned into a black Elemental Giant, and was filled with emotion.

The Abyssal War was sparked by his battle with Hisham.

Before he fell into slumber, he never would have thought the key figure to end this war would be Lor.

Only a few decades have passed?

Lor went from a mere second-ring wizard to a fourth-ring one, standing on equal footing in terms of status.

This is practically a miracle truly impossible to fathom!

Yet reflecting on Lor's journey traces that everything is incredibly clear.

Brilliant talent, plus the bit of support he provided.

Thus, a miracle was born.

With a slight shake of the head, Yasen suppressed the thoughts surging in his mind and withdrew his Elemental Domain, instructing the Elemental Giants beside him, "Fourth and fifth-level Abyssal demons are all exterminated; you may return, merits..."

He advised these legislators briefly, his content no different from what Francis said earlier.

The other two speakers responsible for sealing the Abyss exit similarly withdrew their Domains and sent away these fourth-ring legislators.
